Next up: San Diego Chargers

If we play like we did in the Cardinals game and the refs call a fair game I really think we have a good shot at winning.

Yeah we should have a really good shot, especially since Antonio Gates looks banged up and might not play.  The Chargers defense is probably as bad as ours, so I would expect a high scoring game in this one.  Its astonishing that the Chargers and Ravens were both picked by many to make the playoffs and do well, just nothing has gone right for us or them.

I believe being at home, and having the crowd into the game, we're going to win this one.

San Diego's Defense is about as bad as ours.

Another shoot out that'll end with Joe throwing another INT in the endzone odf his back foot

Explain to me where he had time on that throw to plant and drive the ball? Please explain, I would love to hear....

I don't mean to be a downer here, but what's the point in winning anymore games? We're already out of the playoffs. I want a top 5 draft pick.

It's looking like we are going to pick top 5 no matter what. Probably won't have to go 1-15 to get that #1 pick

You really want to defend Flacco, don't you? You just can't let it go. Watch the replay again. On top of throwing the ball way over Gilmores head. The guy that no one blocked was still 3-4 yards away from him when he threw that ball. He actually threw it and the guy still never even touched him. He had time to set up quickly and throw a strike.

After watching it more, the guy Hurst tried to block actually was closer to sacking him than the free blitzer.

What is a normal drop in the NFL, out of shotgun? 3 steps right? Well Flacco took three, could have set himself, but instead he seen the guy coming and faded away for another 2-3 steps, resulting in a back foot throw.

You are they one who can't let it go?

Funny how everyone else who knows what they are talking about around here pretty much has said the same thing to you

You are WRONG. Good day.

Haha!! I can't let it go?! You are still trying to defend him two days after the fact but I can't let it go? Are you delusional?

I see us winning this game going away.  27-17 Ravens

have to be realistic here; no way Rivers score under 20 pts against our atrocious secondary.....

we have to score more than 30 to win with crucial stop from the defense...

Without Gates I don't see it being a shootout.  We expected Arizona to blow us out and it took Arizona and the refs for them to barely get by us.

All bets are off. I'd like to think we have to win one sooner or later , esp at home...but who knows. They played pretty well on Monday all things considered ...hope we can build on that.

I think Gilmore puts up a big game. He did well against a Cardinals team that is best in the league against Tight Ends and he did put up a fight. Steve Smith will have a tough time against Jason Verret and last season Eric Flowers neutralized him, I think that leads to Gilmore getting even more targets, its pretty evident now he's the No.2 option. He made some CLUTCH plays. I just wish he did more on the INT, but I won't doubt his effort. I love the guys fire.

Oh I know, I'm just saying. Its a common theme now that we fail the 2 minute drill to tie or win every single game.

chargers 45

ravens 24

I don't think we get blown out this year plus with Gates out I doubt the Chargers put up more than 30.

i dont think Gates will be that much of a factor. they already have enough talent on offense to put up serious points on our crippled secondary. so long as a healthy rivers is starting, it could get ugly. this may be the game that tips the team over the edge and really opens up a can for bisciotti. could result in the official firing of dean pees going into the bye.

the team can only hang on the cliff for so long until it they officially teeter off the edge into free fall. this game may do it.

Ladarius Green, I think, will pose more of a threat than Gates. He's more of an athletic freak. Gates only attribute that's better than Greens is that he is a veteran and much better at reading coverages.

Besides that, with td promotion of an offensive lineman, that probably signals that Monroe and may be KO will be missing this game. That means Hurst and Urshel in the lineup and Flacco running for his life.

My predictions:

Chargers - 31

Ravens - 20

Same old Pees defense shows up allows 300+ passing yards.    We get penalized 11 times.  Someone gets hurt and out for rest of season.  Flacco throws an interception, WRs drop ball several times.

Harbaugh announces that we played well and still need to work on a few things.

I couldn't agree with you more

I see a W here.

It's a home game.

Chargers suck about as much as us.

Weddle is not playing.

Last week, Derek Carr threw for 289 Yards and 3 TDs. Raiders were up 30 to 6 at halftime. They scored again but allowed the Chargers to score 23 points in the fourth quarter to start a comeback. Raiders scored enough points to prevent a meltdown....

Ravens 34

Chargers 31

Game comes down to the wire again, making the same mistakes but this time luck is on our side as we win in OT as Tucker comes through in the clutch.

To be fair, it looked like the Raiders were playing prevent offense and defense.

We lost to the Bengals...at home!
