Does this change your opinion on him?

I agree completely.

Yeah, I have to say, I like Ramsey, but I've cooled on him as a top-5 prospect. I have some legitimate concerns that, I feel, are often overlooked regarding his skill and ability to succeed at the next level. There are things I really like about him, but if I am honest, I like the value of Bell a bit better and he doesn't come with the absolute risk of a player potentially busting as a high pick. I'm not saying Ramsey is bad, mind you, but I don't think he's necessarily the savior others make him out to me,

The value part is what gets me with Ramsey. While I feel Ramsey is clear cut the best safety in this class, I really like the value Vonn Bell and Darian Thompson offer in the 2nd round. I feel that Ramsey gets into the top 5 simply because of his ability to play CB however I do favor some others simply because of where I can get them.

This safety class is really stacked, just stacked, while I feel FS is the biggest need along with WR/CB, it won't be the end of the world if we pass on Ramsey for Hargreaves or Tunsil.

That's what bothers me about him as Ravens (very) high pick. He just doesn't seem to be the type of player that we need right now.

He is obviously talented guy but he would need couple years to become what we want him to become. And good luck to him in Dean Pees defense if it comes to that.

Honestly, idk, maybe Hargreaves would be better for the team, he'd fit the scheme more than Ramsey and definitely more than Bosa.

Wow. And just when I thought about hopping aboard the Ramsey Train, this happens.

Disclaimer: I don't watch much college football to begin with and I don't pay attention to college prospects like that. That's why I defer to you guys.

I am hoping for a LT in first and FS in second (like some others here) but this team tends to like DB's that can play different positions which make me worry that they do consider picking him

Yeah that's how I feel as well. I like how Hargreaves, Ogbah, and Tunsil fit our team and from a talent perspective. I like Bosa, but I do question how well he'll transition for us, although the way we play hybrid may minimize any issue that may exist with him. He also gives us flexibility since he is effective at multiple positions. He does remind me a lot of Watt or especially Mario Williams. Ogbah reminds me a lot of Suggs. In fact, I haven't seen a prospect remind me this much of Suggs since Houston.

Yeah, I'd rather take Bell or Thompson for us more than Ramsey. I'm hoping one of them wears the Baltimore symbol this year.

I had that same realization when I started watching him a while back, and it's one of the reasons I like other players better(still like him quite a bit). To me he kind of looks like a bigger honey badger or maybe even a more athletic Will Hill, where he's more likely to be covering tight ends close to the LOS rather than cover the deep middle like Earl Thomas.

Well the Jags just signed the second best free agent safety and they appear to have gotten Malik Jackson; this likely means they won't take Ramsey or Bosa. If Ramsey makes it past the Cowboys...

The Jags still need playmakers in the secondary at CB and FS. The Jags fan I talk to always complained about their #2 CB last year, and their defense is built identical to the Seahawks, meaning they need not 1 but 2 damn good safeties.

/also, wow @ how opinions on Ramsey have changed since late November lol, not that I'm surprised

I don't understand how you guys can say Thompson has a good value in the 2nd round. We're talking the top 5 pick in the 2nd round. If some team reaches a bit for needs instead of BPA, that means the Ravens get a 1st round talent in the 2nd round. Thompson isn't a 1st round talent. He's not even a 2nd round talent in my eyes. He's not football fast enough imo (maybe he was a bit hesitant and looks like he's a film study junky so that might help him a lot guessing plays instead of reacting - which he isnt so good)

Thompson would be great for our 3rd pick.

Hargreaves IS a better corner. I've never gotten the Ramsey hype and am somewhat shocked to read others agree.

You don't think San Diego will take Ramsey?

Pretty sure the Jags are going for Jack.. SD for Ramsey. Which means Jerry Jones will decide go with Elliot or Bosa or maybe Goff

If that happens we get shafted big time. There won't be any other player left except for the overrated Buckner.

I got so confused reading some of the comments as people were arguing about if we pick at 2,3, or 4. I was like What the heck?? Then I saw the date, ha!. Anyways I have a strong feeling Ramsey will drop to 6.
