The Robert Nkemdiche (DL) Bandwagon

Nkemdiche has some pretty damn nice explosion

Yeah. With that explosion he'd be a real threat to sack the QB or stop a run behind the line of scrimmage on any play.

I just love the idea of Nkemdiche and Doom being on the same side of the defense, that's such a matchup nightmare. You can't pull your center to help because of Williams in the middle. You either double team Nkemdiche with a guard and tackle and hope your tightend or blocking RB can handle Doom, or you double team Doom and leave your guard one on one with Nkemdiche. And they would still have to account for Suggs on the blind side. I think Nkem mixed with our OLBs could be what lets us dominate the line of scrimmage.

Yeah he could be put in a lot of 1 on 1 situations with the RG in that situation. I'd love to see him play with a little more power as Donald has a really nice bull rush if he can get under you(which is kinda easy for him as he is a shorter DT) but he could be great as a 1 gapper and you can move him around a bit. That Alabama game was impressive. I have not seen explosion like that since Donald.

His explosion is almost disturbing given his size. If we switched to a one-gap system, imagine him, Jernigan and Williams wrecking interior OLs together.

Carl Davis subbing in and also having Doom and Sizzle off the edge. That is like Cowboys O-line good

All of this sounds good if we get a secondary to get along with these guys.

Suggs is not going to be anything more than a role player going on 35 coming off another Achilles. Dumervil is no spring chicken either. I like the idea however of nkemdiche playing with Our current DLine. However I like the idea of running with the 4-3 in which Bosa would really fit the line. Only problem is ravens already have 3 DTs that are better than average and could keep LBs and edge rushers clean. And have many other needs including edge rusher.

Homers!! Again do the math. I will break it down for you. He is 33 you just established that correct?? Add one to that... Makes 34 correct?? So next year when he returns from his ACHILLES INJURY TO ANCHOR THE DEFENSE "as all homers believe he will" he will be 34!! And after 34 comes 35. So when he returns during next year he will be 34 going on 35!! Understand. And 34 is no spring chicken in the NFL to begin much less coming off Achilles.

I'm a Homer for getting someone's age correct, got it. We might as well get rid of Joe, he's going on 40, well Not yet but he will be... I was simply correcting your facts... You seem to get players ages wrong often, but whose counting Edited by usmccharles

No, your being a homer because you clearly get pi$$ed when me or anybody does not like perriman to be a good WR. Or if any fan does not think suggs will be anything more than a role player. Rational peeps around here are called trolls because we don't agree on every player being pro bowl caliber potential. It is like its forboden to not like a players potential in the NFL. Maxx is going to be a top6 TE, Perriman will still be a future #1 WR. Jernigan and Davis are future all pros. Monroe will rebound to make the pro bowl. Jimmy will play at pro bowl level. Suggs is returning to anchor the defense at going on 35 coming off an Achilles injury. Dumervil at 33 will rebound to another 17 sacks. SS will return to top form at 37 coming back from Achilles. Upshaw is not a bust, he is a successful #1 pick doing exactly what Ozzie envisioned. Every bad move ozzie ever made is not his fault. If anybody disagrees with any of these notions, peeps line up to pick fights and call you a troll!!

Welp, this thread has taken an interesting turn...

Yeah, went from a Kim D thread to a Flacco thread to a Dean Pees thread to... whatever it is now.

What does that have anything to do with Sugg's age? And where did he say that Perriman is going to be a good WR?

One of the tackles or Bosa round1 and trade back into round one for whichever WR emerges through the college season and draft process. I like Coleman so far, and Fuller if he enters the draft. Perhaps even Doctson or Robinson. Joe needs weapons!! Brady and maybe Ben are the only QBs you could remotely say is outplaying Joe Cool all things considering!! Even Rodgers is struggling with his playmakers out!! And Oline problems while receivers are not getting open. Get the dude some legit playmakers!! And Joe will be 4500 yards 40 TDs!!

In a different thread

Okay, personally while we are on the subject of you know who, I think it is too early to call Perriman anything right now as he hasn't been on the field. I will say that this whole situation has soured me on him a bit where it is hard for me to trust him as a guy who can step in next year. Can't call him a lost cause either though as frustrating as this has been.

Well this is filled with a whole bunch of nope.  Pissed? Negative ghost rider....

-Perriman- i simply have said numerous times i think its premature to call him a bust when he hasnt seen the field, we dont know if he is good or not.  On your premise, Donte Fowlers and Kevin Whites are bust....still not pissed.

-Suggs- I was simply stating his correct age which for the second time you have gotten wrong.  I do think he can anchor the defense still, you dont, cool....still not pissed

-Maxx- He shows promise, i never said anything about top 6 TE, i like Crocket more, but because he doesnt have a 6 pack and run a 4.1 40 hes garbage to you....cool, your opinion, wait for it....still not pissed...

- I thnk Davis, jerrigan, williams show a lot of potential...still not pissed

-Upshaw- im on record for not liking him, still not pissed

- Doom- i think he will be just fine.....pissed now. jk, still not pissed.

You, like other unrealistic fans want instant results and thats now how it works.  But if you think i get pissed at something someone says on a message board or for having a different opinion than I, well sir, i guess you miss the whole point of message board discussions.

***Back on topic***

If we can pick in the top 7 and Rob N. is still there, i have no doubt we would take him.  Im hoping for Hargreaves, but with Rob N on our line, we would be back to being dominant up front with a lot of very young talent.  Then would love to grab Ogbha in the second if possible.

Kim D and Ogbah in one draft (on top of what we already have) would probably be enough to make Roethlisberger contemplate retirement.

Dude. This is like digging up secretariat and for some reason starting to beat it... Let it go, and I agree with you. I do see some technique issues but the physical ability is there, and he's not exactly a lazy person by the looks of it.

Bosa alone would accomplish this task :P.

Yea i know, but i dont like people putting words in my mouth.

Bosa looks great and all, but i just have this wierd feeling that he is not going to live up to his hype by any means.  I feel like he is going to be like Clowney.  Id rather take two very good looking prospects over one,

Don't disagree with the latter. The former, I don't think he'll be like JJ Watt, but more along the lines of a Chris Long player(in his prime. Not now lol). Never a superstar but a damn good pass rusher who get around 8-10 sacks a year.Quite possibly might get 11-12. Which is damn fine by me.

I want two pass rushers in the first three rounds though... We need better trench play first. The difference between this year and last year is we don't have Suggs and McPhee. That's pretty much it. The trench play has gone down. You need trench play first.

I highly agree.  I want the combo of Rob N and Ogbha more than anything.  I think our secondary will improve, well i think Jimmy will come back around once he heals more.  Our FS situation is still an issue.  If Rob N, Bosa, and Hargreaves are sitting there for us....i dont really care who we take, ill be happy.

This is a good safety class. We don't need Ramsey. There's other options.

Pretty much. Nk has to improve upon his technique, but we have a damn good dlinemen coach to help him there. He's a physical monster

I don't think it's likely we take two pass rushers at the top. The talent isn't there and I doubt it lasts so it'll be BPA twice during the first two days.

I'll be happy to get one of Bosa, Nassib or Ogbah. I think Ogbah is my favorite atm.

I would like a Hargreaves, Ogbah, Bell combination the most.
