[News] Late For Work 10/26: Steve Smith Sounds Off On Panthers Trade Talk

If Steve decides to play another year, I'll respect him. If he hangs up the cleats, I'll respect him. Right now he's one of a small handful of Ravens that are earning respect.

To make a team travel to London and take a home game away from their fan base is a dirty thing to do! If the NFL wants to give London an expansion team franchise, then fine, but do not force teams to play there!!!!!!!

Of course SSS wants to stay with the Ravens, the Ravens are his best chance to break into top #8, #9 or #10 WR career yardages, possibly even a top 7 if he is red hot rest of year. He is #1 WR for Ravens, if traded to a contender, he might not be a #1 WR, getting less yards. Over 10,000 yards is a great way to get into the Hall of Fame, he is not concern about going to a contender and possibly win a SB, he wants that 10,000 plus yards and will do his darnest to get there.

I hope we do it for WR and DBs too. I would like to see Oz trade up to get the best graded guy they have on their list. Like Atlanta did with Julio. If he has doubts then trade for a proven WR/DB that's still in his prime use the draft pick for a sure thing.

I trust in OZ and all but you cant always try to find deals and steals in the draft. Sometimes you have to do like they did with Williams and go get them before they get cleared out. This year would have been perfect to load up on some WRs and even possibly at DB but we got caught up trying to find guys outside the box. Maybe being the in top ten in the draft next season helps us right the ship for 2016.

Way too Early to start comparing Diggs to Perriman. Heck... If I just look at one season... we may say that Paul Krueger was a better draft pick then Suggs? But anyone who has watched their careers would tell you just how crazy that sounds. While Krueger was a decent draft pick and had a good season or two while SUggs was out with an injury... nobody who has seen the big picture would ever suggest that kruger was even close to Suggs. 1 season doesn't make a career. Justin Forsett had a better season then APeterson last year... does that mean he was a better draft pick then Peterson??? Matt Cassel threw for 3500 yards in 2008 then Tom Brady did (brady was out with injury) does that make Cassel a better draft pick. CMon people get a grip. It sux that Perriman has missed his rookie season with an injury but 1 season does not make a career. I wish we would have had him all year but 1 season does not make a career. Way too early to start calling Perriman a bust and way too early to begin to suggest that so and so would have been a better draft pick at WR? If Perriman gives us 10 good years will anyone even remember that he was injured his rookie year. If he turns into the next Randy Moss... will anyone even bring up (yea but his rookie year).... that's absurd! The kid is injured. It sux but that's like in the NFL... lets hope he puts together a great career from here forward!
