[News] What The Cardinals Are Saying About The Ravens

If you are one of those people who think that coaching and attitude don't matter, you need to take a look at what is happening in Miami.....same roster, different results, a lot different.

I am thinking the exact same thing. Every down is being played with a renewed passion but Miami is playing with the same players. Our defensive players are constantly reported as playing with a "lack of technique and execution" but they aren't totally the problem in Baltimore.

Very complimentary of Az. And to say we've given up a few 'Chunk' plays is a bit of an understatement. How about something like, 'If you can throw it 25 or 30 yards downfield all game long, you're going to score a lot of points off the Ravens and probably (based on previous results) have career best numbers at the end of it.' That's more like it.

Seriously I don't think I've ever read opposing teams say anything derogatory about the team they're playing ever! That is wrong on so many levels so why would we expect anything other than complimentary speak from the Cards?

In 2008 Flacco, Rice and Harbaugh became Ravens, from 1997-2007 all the Ravens ever needed was a QB. Taking Rice and Harbaugh out of the equation only change things a little. If we had a QB know-how head coach or defensive guru head coach with a very good offensive coordinator we would be so much further along. Every year besides AFCN rivals we lose to each team going to the playoffs 1-4 seed in regular season. We are going from 1st-2nd in our division to 3rd-4th. Harbaugh is selling some very tasty girl scout cookies in the headquarters because everyone is still buying his 2008-2012 playoff run, when it's really Flacco's & company and the defense's run.

I know it is someone's job to interview the opposing team but am I the only one here who doesn't care at all what they say? I always click on it because I click on every article on this web site but can never get past the first couple of sentences. I know, I know, you dont have to read it but it just seems like a waste of someones time to me. Call me grumpy I guess.

Don't really give a hoot what the Cards are saying. All that counts is what's happening on the field. A win is all the talking that needs to be said.

"Your about to be the only team in the nfl with one win"

there's actually a few even after today. Not that that makes it any better.

All the normal BS from an opponent. What Palmer wants to really say is " I can't wait to put up over 400 yards on that sorry excuse for a D with no heart".

I'll give you a half a neg on that. They have heart. No one has quit because we have been in all of our games with a chance to win. BUT you are right 400 yards against us right now isn't a stretch. Lol

Aside from all the usual stuff, what stands out is when Coach Arian's pointed out we don't have Lewis or Reed teaching guys and spending the extra time in the film room. We really need someone to step up and fill that role. Coaching is 1 thing, but the little things that Great players bring on and off the field are what make Winning Teams.

Exactly........that is especially important with all the CBA restrictions on coach/player contact. So much more could get done if we had leaders like we used to conducting their own film sessions, etc.

All they are saying to each other is how easy a win this will be for them. We lost to the Browns at home...

So essentially the Cardinals as pumping themselves up so they don't lose a sleeper. Telling each other what a tough team the 1-5 Ravens are to get it up for tomorrow night. Not a bad strategy. Those sleepers can catch you sleeping.

I am sure that this is "Sike Out 101" for the Cards so they don't take the game for granite, I would like to think we are better than a 1-5 team but nothing that this team or staff has done to date proves that.  I won't say we can't win this one, but the odds are heavily stacked against us, this one could get ugly quick if our defense doesn't step up their play.

I will concede that we have one of the toughest opening schedules in the NFL, having 5 of the first 7 games on the road and two sets of back-to-back west coast games.  It also doesn't help that Flacco is on his 4th OC in 5 years and that he doesn't having much help in the play-maker department, save SSS.  Was excited at the start of the season, but now I am sadly disappointed and wondering where we go from here.
