Slim. Likely we'll stack a few wins and end up 7-9 missing the playoffs and lowering our draft position knowing our luck.

no idea why so many people want to find reasons to bash Forsett all the time, he is 4th in rushing, and again is tied with a few others with 5 rushes for 20 plus yards...

Trestman needs to start calling plays over the MIDDLE of the field. Enough of always attacking the sideline; the only time we move the ball is in hurry up when Flacco is allowed to take deeper shots down the middle!!

What hindsight? people were talking about Diggs a ton on the forums but people thought he didnt have the talent I guess. Well he has more talent then 75% of our WR core right now! Diggs, Devin Smith, and a bunch of wrs that went later in the draft would have been a breathe of fresh air compared to the lie we were told in the beginning of the season, like how Marlong and Aiken were ready to step up, knowing good and well that they were not focusing on WR and that we only needed one speed guy the whole season...... You have a QB with an arm that rivals Manning, Bledsoe, and any other big arm QB you can think of and you give him slow non deep threats and one guy who can blow the top off............. so when he gets injured we have no speed. next season there better be an increase of both speed and talent at the wr position because it is getting real irritating seeing the pats organization taking pop shots at us for our down season and to have that go into 2016 would be inexcusable.

We thought Perriman was going to be our playmaker. And Maxx Williams. It's not like they aren't trying to draft playmakers. But the staff isn't omniscient.

Before Perriman got hurt, he dominated OTA's and mini camp, no one could cover him, i doubt there is anyone more frustrated than him....Once he gets on the field he will lite it up...JMO....

Hopefully Ravens keep on fighting. I don't want to watch a team that sinks the rest of their season for a good draft position. There are a lot more other enjoyable things I can do on Sunday nights than watch halfassed attempts at football. Ravens aren't so bad as to have no chance at all at a decent season (albeit with a bad start).

Most of the years we had a high draft pick we got that one good player, besides the year we got Boulware and Sharper, then the rest be bust.

Nothing is unfathomable in the NFL. You may be on the top one day and rock bottom the next. The Ravens picking first? Why would that be unfathomable? Sure, the team has to suck first to get there - but there are no guarantees in the NFL. No team is immune to having rough patches. The difference is how and how quickly teams get out of those. Some organizations like the Jags, the Browns or the Bucs seem to never be able to really get out of the funk, while other ones, like the Colts, the Falcons - and hopefully the Ravens... - use that rock bottom as a plaform to bounce back and leap even higher than before. Sure, you have to get a little lucky to suck when you can get the perfect solution as a compensation (like the Colts "sucked for Luck" - they had the best young QB of the decade to take right when they were about to lose the best QB of the previous decade...) - but a high draft position can never hurt - if you got the right personnal to take advantage of it. And I believe we have.

Die hard fan but regarding the comments in the article of the Ravens beginning to win more this season because of more home games.....right!!!! We have a great media machine that hypes this team too much to keep the ticket and merchandise sales up obviously. BLUF: The proof is in the won/loss column and we fans see the type of team we have and right now it isn't very good and it doesn't appear to be getting any better each week Could it change? Yes, but in all likelihood it won't. A 6 game win season is a stretch at this point.

Whoever evaluates the talent in training camp should be let go. Horrible horrible evaluation of our players. Perhaps going against one of the worst defensive backfield makes them look like playmakers.

Looking at who we drafted since 2011, I'd have to say Ozzie has lost a step in drafting. Whether this is on the scouts or the FO, I am not sure. I think our philosophy of drafting the best player without giving in to need is right but the choices are appalling.

That’s fine, but don’t expect the team to have that mentality. Head Coach John Harbaugh, quarterback Joe Flaccoicon-article-link.gif and wide receiver Steve Smith Sr.icon-article-link.gif are not ready to say die. And, quite frankly, they could be 1-14 and still wouldn’t pack it in.

The fact is, if we get to 1-14 then they packed it in long before that.

Before Perriman got hurt, he dominated OTA's

Well. he didn't. He was good and as fst as advertised - but he dropped more balls than comfortable - again as advertised...

BR.com, IMHO, isn't the best source of info at camptime, as the camp reports that appear here usually tend to highlight the good and not so much the bad. The best example was last season when on a given day, here at br.com all you could learn about one certain young D guy that he had one great tackle - while at other sources like the Sun or RSR they reporteds that the same guy "struggled  mightily" the same day... Understandable, but unfortunate.

The Colts didn't have that mentality either - they just didn't have a QB for a whole season either...

The media made a big deal every time he dropped a pass, but the fact is, he didn't drop many....

talent is not the issue. This team is loaded with talent.

No question about it... we seem to have lost most our draft day skills. As for the number one pick... the biggest threat to that is the home game against Jacksonville. They will be desperate for that first pick... will be a tough game to lose.

I hope you're not saying that with a straight face! I love my Ravens and will root for them this Sunday and the Sunday after that but when I look at the 2015 Ravens the last thing I see is talent. smh

Even if we were to get a high 1st round draft pick, I don't think these scouts we have would even know what to do with it.

To be fair, when we usually pick in the first round it's usually way down the draft chart, that's why Oz likes to trade out and double dip in the 2nd, as late first rounders are tweeners between first and 2nd round picks....Hard to hit home runs with late first round picks....But Oz usually kills it from the 3rd round down....JMO...

Disagree. Talent is the main issue. We do not have young, explosive "Playmakers" on this team. Heck our receivers can't even get open.

Wait we have receivers? I thought our only reciever was injured with a broken back?

I guess people are talking about the draft because they have given up on the season. I would much rather watch football games and enjoy the season, win or lose. Nothing bores me more than talk about draft picks and the combine before the season is over. The list of skill players drafted by the Ravens since 2011 is pretty sad. When the Ravens' draft picks are announced, everyone looks around and thinks "Who is that?".
