Week 7 Discussion (Other Teams)

I don't know how you do that man.

She must be even angrier now lol.

Yes she is like me, a maniac when things fall apart for our team. She really is diehard about her Steelers. We do have a mutual respect for each other's feelings when our team is losing. It prevents things from ever getting ugly.

I honestly think if Indy were in an actual NFL division, Pagano may be relieved of his duties mid-season. They are clearly not playing at this point and I have to think the discord between coaching and FO is bleeding into the team.

I know this wouldn't be the first time a team with an under .500 record could make the playoffs, but when all is said and done, this division may yield the weakest playoff entry in recent memory.

Come on Lions we need you to win!

No they don't :-)

I lived in MN for 10 years ... part of that time was pre-Ravens, so I adopted them. Of course, once the Ravens came on the scene, they took a back seat, but I still root for them.

Panthers are also in that mode for me, as I've now been in Carolina for 10 years as well.

Yeah - I get it ... draft pick watching ...

If the Chiefs win that's a double win.

I actually hope they continue losing and he does not get cut until the end of the season, because I do not think Harbs would cut Pees mid-season unless Biscotti has a word with him. I truly believe Biscotti stepped in when they fired Cam Cameron before the season was over, as I do not believe for a second that Harbaugh stepped up and made that decision.

Makes me think of that old Kenny Rogers song ~ "you have to know when to hold them, know when to fold them!"  Cut Pees free please!

Again... why didn't Ozzie give up a fifth for Marshall again?

I will always want Indy to lose .. unless they need to win to help us in the standings (which is not possible this year). I suppose if they are playing NE or PIT ... then I just abstain.

At the start of the season, when there was news of the rift, I thought that if Indy did relatively well, but didn't advance far in the playoffs, that he'd get fired, but would be quickly re-hired as an HC. If this thing goes seriously south, he may not get those offers and would be looking for a DC gig.

So in that regard - I agree. I can think of a place where there might be a job opening and where he might fit in.

I understand, I adopted the Cowboys as my team. I was just thinking about a higher draft pick since the Lions and Ravens have the same record. Growing up my beloved grandfather liked the Cowboys as a second team after the Colts, so that is the reason for the choice. They are hard for me to root for now, even if the Ravens are un-effected by their winning. I don't care for Jerry Jones and them signing Greg Hardy.

Again... why didn't Ozzie give up a fifth for Marshall again?

Because we couldn't absorb his $9M cap hit and he rolled the dice that Perriman would be an impact player and that Aiken or Brown or Camp would emerge as viable #3 WR. Lots of people cried that we needed to stop bringing in vet WRs and see what we have in our young guys. Those people are in hiding right now.

Our limited cap space was spent to address the clearest issue and that was secondary help. Of course none of those additions have been effective.

Yes I am rooting for them big time, but off course I am keeping it all inside for apparent reasons :) Go Chiefs!!!!

Still can't figure out why Antwon Blake is playing for the Steelers instead of Boykin. They must be really trying to keep him under 60% of the snaps so they don't have to give the Eagles a 4th instead of a 5th.

Ugh, if the Patriots win here all we're going to hear all week is how Br*dy (the "cheetah") has the most comebacks of all time or how he's thrown to the most receivers in comeback drives in sunny weather on a Sunday afternoon or some rubbish.
