I can't see the Ravens going anywhere near Aldon Smith, after the Rice fiasco. JPP might be a more realistic option.

Idk, the only reason Rice was even an issue was because he hit a woman, if he knocked out a guy there would be NO problem in the eyes of the hypocritical public. Aldon Smith just has a history of being an idiot. We wouldn't get bad PR for an Aldon signing.

I'm going with Bosa over anyone at this point. I believe we really need a stand-up pass rusher. I think its very likely we sign one given how weak this edge rusher draft class is. Bosa and Za'darius would give us a young pass rushing duo that can develop behind Suggs and Doom. I think Bosa is the top option. I'm going back and forth with him and Nkedimech but at this point I'm comfortable with Bosa.

With another loss comes more Bosa gifs. :D

And here's a sack he completes with just his mind.

Pretty sure the first one was from last year, the second one is just an awful QB.

So will Leonard Fournette's play this year not matter when he's draft eligible next year or... ?

I'm thinking you just don't like Bosa for the simple fact that most of everyone else does, because I've yet to hear a concrete reason why you don't like him.

Actually, the first, from what Matt Miller posted

Weird, I'm guessing he doesn't know that to break a tie within the draft order of teams with the same winning percentage, Strength of Schedule is the first tiebreaker used. Lions current SOS is 26-20(.565 winning percentage) while we are 28-18(.609 winning percentage). That would put the Lions first and us second.

Either way, if it ends up being us and Detroit, Staley and Bosa will be the top 2 picks. Staley to Detroit to help keep Stafford up and Bosa to come fix our defense.

i have a hard time envisioning Detroit passing on nkemdiche, hes considered a DT, they will be looking to fill the hole that Ngatas was supposed to fill, no better way than to draft the most gifted DT we have seen in years

im saying this with as much as respect as possible... but this is delusional on both fronts. joey bosa is in fact capable of playing 3-4 OLB, he has the athleticism and the size for it, high IQ guy, and if worst comes to worst we play him as a rusher and run stuffer and keep him out of coverage, and he is AT WORST the 3rdbest player in this draft. and we arent finishing 8-8, 7-9, or anything close to that, we are not winning 6 or 7 of our next 10 games.

Joey bosa has never played 3-4 OLB, Converting from something you always knew (4-3 DE/DT) To a stand up pass rusher who covers (something he's never done) COULD he do it? Maybe but I don't even think he's the best pass rusher in this draft. 5 technique would be his ideal position in a 3-4 defense. He was suspended for either academics or marijuana according to NFL scouts (Just one game but still) media pumps up a prospect and is comparing him to jj watt he's no watt. Not yet, I have a top 10 grade on him but top 5. Bosa could use some more pass rusher moves maybe a rip or spin. His motor is very good but it's defintiley down from last year. Bosa is a solid pass rushing prospect but he has issues and is getting overhyped.

yeah no. Aaron donald was a way better prospect than nkemdiche will be. He's solid but he's inferior to leonard williams and donald by a solid margin. he's a top 16 pick right now but he is not going no.1 overall to the lions team that has issues on the o-line. Positional value LT>>>>DT all day. Staley is the top OT he'll be the first pick if the lions like him.

i have to disagree. Bosa looks as good if not better than watt was in college.

jj watt was a mid first rounder, bosa is a clear cut contender for the top spot. hes still the frontrunner for first overall according to most big boards. he may be a bit overhyped, but that doesnt mean he isnt a top 2 or 3 player in this class, youre comparing bosa as a prospect to watt as a nfl veteran and claiming to compare them in equal circumstances..

once again, youre wrong. nkemdiche is another guy that is in contention for the top spot, while aaron donald went in the mid. that alone should be enough to tell you that nkemdiche is viewed as a better prospect than donald was before april 2014. nkemdiche is the most physically dominant DT since suh, he has jevon kearse levels of freak athleticism, and he plays with one hell of a nasty streak and motor, that boy is the real deal and it almost seems like youre being contrarian for the hell of it

yeah but J.J watt is the NFL's best player. Comparing him to becoming that (or has the potential to be that) is mularkey. J.J watt was a top 16 draft pick.

People refuse to explain why they think he's worth a top 5 pick. It's hype. Carl Nassib looks just as good as he does this year.

You do realize J.J watt and donald are top 2 players at their positions right? and they went in the teens Bosa will be picked apart by the NFL scouting community and so will nkemdiche. I'm not being contrartion... J.J watt and donald were underrated prospects who were great athletes. Expecting these guys to be better than the best guys at their position is downright insane.  Will they get get pushed up by the media? Sure. And rememebr this is the MEDIA saying they'll go that high the NFL scouts view bosa as a top 10 pick but feel like top 5 is too rich. I'm not 100% sure about nkemdiche (God Im gonna hate that name if he gets drafted in the AFC) and what the NFL scouts say on him but he is not a better prospect than donald. Suh+McCoy were very good prospects helped by a crappy draft class to float towards the top. not to mention the teams dire need for the DT position. Bosa has a shot at the top 5 because of need and stupid teams pick that high (Except the ravens ofc)

He looks good but there's a long way to go before he's draft eligble.

Yet again you avoid giving a reason...

Explosion, variety of pass rush moves, brute strength, great hand usage, bends and uses leverage well, able to take on multiple blockers and still make it a positive play, etc.

Bosa is just supremely well rounded. He's instinctive...he has football IQ..

thats what separates the booms and busts.

this guy has the athletic ability to play 3-4 easy. We may even be transitioning to 4-3..either way he has the measurables.

He's not a top 5 pick. Slow your role carl nassib is a solid prospect but he's not anywhere near top 5 pick. One year wonder who's played well but one year wonder pass rushers usually do not go in the top 5. first round? maybe but he's got a long way to go man. I think he's played DE what 2 season in college?

Why the hell would we move to a 4-3. Measurables aren't everything, It's not just plug in and play as a 3-4 OLB in the ravens defense. Football IQ is something we can't gauge since we won't interview so don't use that.

He's got instinct. He reads plays. He is a game wrecker. I don't see what your issue with him is..He's better than the pass rushers that went last year. He's more well rounded then leonard williams as well as more versatile. He's a football player..he will wreck havoc at DE or OLB

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh lololololololololololololololololool @ u thinking we would sign aldon smith/we would even have the resources to sign him. They all get overrated but bosa is a massive overhype like clowney or insert random QB prospect
