[News] Safety Kendrick Lewis' Injury Not Serious

33 posts in this topic

@Spitfire418... Kendrick isn't terrible... He's made plays this season and is very good near the line of scrimmage... And isn't horrible in coverage.. its more of the scheme.. The secondary as a whole has looked suspect... Webb is the only member of the secondary that has played well the entire season... I think he'll play better as the secondary meshes together...

"Nothing serious.. Bone bruise" lol OK coach ! Sounds like the same diagnosis as Perriman, so I guess we'll see Lewis in training camp 2016 at the earliest.

@Raven_Don He's made one decent pass breakup and like one nice tackle. Besides that he's done nothing but miss tackles and get burnt because he's slow. Somebody else should at least get a chance to be our new FS, but I'm not the coach so we'll see.

Can we do an MRI on our safeties to make sure their egos aren't bruised?

Cuz those have been some horrendous assignment failures in coverage this year.

@Spitfire418... I agree that he's missed assignments... but its more of scheme than it is on Kendrick... there is no reason why your FS should be on AJ Green... Jimmy should have been shadowing AJ.. that's the reason he got an extension... his play has been very up and down which is to be expected when you come off a season ending injury the year before.. and I expect him to play much better... Along with the rest of the secondary... I really think there should be a change in defensive philosophy... The Pat's have a bunch of no names in their secondary but yet they are 5-0... the difference is they never ask you to do something you aren't good at... they picked up Melvin right??? Let's see the difference in his play...

All hands on deck against AZ....They have a very talented WR Corp.....

and with a crappy pass rush  it could get real ugly unless this team decides to get it together

My feeling is, anytime one of our players does NOT suffer a season-ending injury, that is a good thing...... Seeing them go down quickly seemingly every single week is very disheartening......

DEAN PEES: Your blitz every play to create pressure leaves our DB's on an Island with no help. We don't have Revis, Sherman, and Trufant on our team. We are terrible at disguising blitzes and many times when we bring more than they block the opposing QB knows exactly where to go with the ball. If you had your bad games, and then could put together some good efforts, I would have some faith, but since losing Suggs, we had one of the worst defenses in the league and every QB we have played, minus the steelers conservative playing calling with bum Vick, has torched us. Embarrassing performances every week. FIRE PEES NOW!!! Unless you want first pick...

Hopefully brooks will get a shot this week. Like to see just how he looks coming off the injury. He was really starting to develop before going down

LOL, neither is Perriman's as we have been told, that statement does not convey warm and fuzzy feeling unfortunately. GO RAVENS!

YEA RIGHT neither was Perriman's and that lasted longer than a broken bone. Is he playing? NO? Then I don't want to here about him. Were paying to watch them play.

Coaches Instead of teaching how to play in the secondary they must be teaching them how to get hurt. Good idea stay out until have some one that can teach the position. Anyone got Edd's number?

Brooks always shows flashes and instincts of a defensive playmaker. Hasn't quite gotten the snaps, and he'll make some mistakes, but I've seen him make a few reads on plays that leaves me thinking he needs to be on the field more.
