We went from having a stellar D-line last season, to having maybe the worst we've ever had. Suggs-Ngata-Mcphee-Dumervil-Canty. This D-line that we have now is just a bunch of 2nd & 3rd string caliber players at best.

If they're missing so many mechanics and fundamentals this far into the season, what in the world did they do all summer?

Harbaugh inherited a 5-11 team that was 6-10 the year before plus had to go with a rookie QB. He's also went to the playoffs 6 out of 7 years and won at least one playoff game every one of those years. Not to mention a couple AFC titles and a Super Bowl.

What team you watching?

What I have been missing since 2012 is Forced Fumbles and INTs by our secondary. Does anybody have a stat how many takeaways was made by our secondary in the last 40 games? Since we let our entire secondary walk away we cannot save the backfield at all. I miss leaders in our team. I miss gameplan other than crossing our fingers and hoping the opponents will fail. I miss my warriors in purple and black.

Regarding Joe's horrendous interception, if Joe had seen Gillmore wide open and gotten the ball to him on the 27 yard line, only 1 defender had a real chance of stopping Crockett. In fact, it's likely that Gillmore would have just run the defender over or dragged him along in to the endzone. I hope Joe seeks Gillmore out more, like he looks for SSS. Crockett is our #2 weapon and he needs to utilized more by Trestman as well.

Joe plays like a statue when he actually has mobility that he doesn't use until the last second. And has Trestman ever heard of a two tightend offense. We are not utilizing three of our best offensive weapons, our young tightends. Double tight ends help the running game, pass protection, and create miss matches in the passing game. There are other options, yet we cry about receivers who can't get open.

Is there any coach or coordinator on the Ravens' staff who can make an in game adjustment? Heck can they make a week to week adjustment?  Game plan to your players' abilities, not from random plays and schemes at your disposal.

Dennis Pitta should be off the Pup list now.

As much as I like him, he shouldn't even be on the team. I'm not sure what genius thought it was a good idea even re-signing him, etc. Of course, he's the best bud of our imitation QB, so......no real surprise there. The whole team is a mess, from the top on down.

i would rather have the #1 pick in the draft.

Yeah....maybe they could draft a WR!! Or a QB!! Flacco might make a decent backup, but QB's usually need at least a little leadership ability, though. Scratch that.

Has Pitta even been cleared by the doctors yet? He may not even be an option to use yet. Agree we need to use a 2 TE set though, that would help give the offense more options. On defense - who knows, they look a mess all around.

I did read yesterday somewhere around here someone saying that Perriman does have Osgood-Schlatter in his knees...

should this really be the case, he's NEVER going to play a single down in the NFL...

I do have it on my knees, it is a genetic "anomaly" that has your knee front bones stick further down than they should, this altering your walking style, making it unconfortable to stay standing for any period of time and other minor problems...

https://www.google.com/search?q=osgood schlatter&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=775&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMInMTN_87TyAIVwaoeCh2sTQ-c

What TRULY baffles me, should this be true, is HOW IN THE WORLD did the ravens doctors miss this one...should this be true THE WHOLE MEDICAL STAFF should be taken their phds and thrown in the firepits...

exactly, we never have a plan b when things go awry. And the double tight end sets are one of the things everybody was so excited about before the season and we haven't seen even a whiff of it. The only thing I can think is that we were trying to keep some of our best formations and plays under our hat until the postseason or until the end of the year fighting for a playoff spot so other teams would be caught off guard but the problem is we have to get to the playoffs first and we've dug ourselves such a deep hole that it's now probably too late. Not sure if that's it or not but it just doesn't make sense regardless. There are so many things were not utilizing. We have the talent, it's obviously the coaching. Trestman hasn't done too too bad but peas is god awful and has to go. The problems not goin to fix itself.

Ravens get hit with costly Bogus Penalties every week.

As far as the call on jimmy- we always get burnt by atleast one horrible call every game that usually hurts us pretty badly. Not an excuse for losing - but it certainly doesn't help. Seems like this year if it wasn't that it would've been something else.

I was irate after the penalty on Jimmy Smith. They showed a replay only once and I was like "that's a legal bump within 5 yards of the LOS". But now, after seeing the video posted here several times, I can see that the receiver's torso is turned as he's making a move to get away from the bump and i cannot see Smith's right hand. I can no longer assume that Smith did not hold.

As far as Boldin's no-call - ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! >:(

wrong. We've been through this several times and his situation is not related to osd and that condition only effects you as an adolescent anyway. Saying he's never going to play a down in the nfl is just dumb. He played through college with no problems whatsoever and if anything it would have effected him then even more.

Has anyone else heard John has been more involved in player selection with Ozzie. Man that would explain so much.

Playing a bit of devil's advocate here but how are you going to post 2 plays where you point out the need for flags for the Ravens then applaud Brandon Williams for the 3rd play where he clearly commits illegal hands to the face on the first block he sheds?

Too much koolaid in the press room...

No, haven't heard that.  But, isn't that part of his job???  We do have position coaches, and they and their players do meet regularly with the head coach.  Not thinking that is huge if he is working with Ozzie and the scouts.

The video of the holding penalty clearly shows grabbing of the jersey while the receiver tries to disengage and just after 5 yards.

Boldin made a great block. Arrington probably did or said something that irked him. The defense was trying to take cheap shots on Boldin from the beginning and he was pissed early.

Really the only penalty that should have been called is for illegal hands to the face by Williams on the center Martin, which made that play possible.
