i hate they came and ate us like that, but at the same time im glad our fans got to learn the hard way that even a "one trick pony" is far better than 5 no trick ones.

They might remind the Ravens of what they are missing, but not the Ravens fault that Torrey decided to move on because the Ravens couldn't afford to keep him or Anquan..... Just sayin'....... Sometimes the cap stinks......

When we lose we get to read about what other teams are saying. That's great and all, but I would love to hear what our own team is saying, specifically the assistant coaches and coordinators.

I'm glad we got a SB with those two, and I'm glad they landed alright, but I couldn't care less about their second win with the 9ers.

Pick a side, first everyone was trashing Torrey for not giving his all on every play and veug a one trick pony, now everyone wants to say how bad if a move it was to let him walk. Stick to your opinion...so.e of y'all are phony as hell.

You think Smith & Boldin felt a little extra incentive in the game, esp. Boldin? Like do bears rummage through the woods? You bet they do.

More like 2 of the DUMBEST decisions the ZFO ever made. What did we get, a bag of balls? You NEVER take established weapons away from a Franchise QB, that has developed team chemistry with.

Whatever bean counter made this decision, should be tarred and feathered, shot, fill in the blank___________! You could have kept these guys. Instead, we spend the money on 15 garbage players. Somebody needs to take PLAYER VALUE 101, when deciding how to best spend moneyand evaluating best bang for the buck

I still feel that Torrey and Q miss it here in Bmore

Hahahahaha...ummm...NO!!

I'm pretty sure that they don't!  Like the Ravens have done from them....they have moved on from the Ravens!  They probably partied after the game talking about how they both put up big numbers against the Ravens while their WR's still can't get separation or catch a damn football!  That's what I'd do!

But the fact that this is the team they won a Super Bowl with, i'm sure they still have that connection with this city.

As a Raven fan, I'm happy for both of them for torching us yesterday. As a 2015 Raven fan, I'm stunned Shareece Wright stayed in the game getting torched by his former team, twice- guy looked like a fish out of water last night, and I'm embarrassed for him as a 2015 Raven fan. Clearly his former team was planning on exploiting him (As Boldin Mentioned After The Game), and Pees (the smartest and best DC in the game) made zero adjustments and continued to play him--Its just laughable at this point. This team is embarrasing

Love Ozzie, but this was a huge mistake to let both guys go. I understand you can't keep 2 receivers at a high price, but dammit Torrey Smith should still be here picking up the slack at the #2 WR. Anyway, both contributed big plays to a championship so I'm indebted to them.

Bottom line in todays Cap Space NFL....You can't pay a good NOT great receiver big money. The Ravens offered Torrey a fair deal, he opted for the few extra million and went to the Niners. He made some big plays for the Ravens in his time here, but please keep in mind he is an average to good WR, NOT a good to great one.

I Literally want to puke just hearing the name Breshad Perriman, guys made out of glass-and I'm at the point where I want him to be a bust bc Im so mad at how poor our receiving corps is over this ridiculous injury. Marlon Brown's been an even bigger joke this year. Ive never seen anyone look so scared on a football field in my entire life. He looks like a deer in headlights every time a ball is thrown his way, and most likely dropped.

We are going to get demolished next week. 48-7 is my prediction, with our touchdown coming in garbage time when Arizona pulls their starters.

The reason these guys were let go have more to do with our QB then it does with their ability. Has Joe ever produced a thousand yard WR? Think about. Also think about this, Boldin's 1st year in San Fran, he put up a thousand yds. I know, I know, most of you will say, but Michael Crabtree was on the otherside. Not buying it.

Has Joe ever produced a thousand yard WR?

Uh, yeah, last year.  However he does seem to be regressing quite a bit.  Seems like he may be more concerned with making commercials than playing the game.

I'd like to hear Ozzie just say, "I'm sorry- I messed up with Anquan and Torrey. I should've just given them that extra million per year and found money elsewhere instead of trying to use band-aid, rent a receiver solution for receivers and corners. This year falls squarely on Oz and the FO. Last year, we barely made it to the playoffs- wasn't the writing on the wall? How come everyone knew we had to address our receiver / corner position except for Oz?

Torrey left because we offered $35M over 5 years and he wanted $40 mill for 5 years. Mathematically speaking, he left because he was getting an extra million dollars a year going to SF. To most people out there, those are life-changing numbers, but people look at as in oh well, they are athletes and got money so what's $5 million gonna do to him?? I am sure Torrey made the right decision for him and his family. C'mon ppl!!

Boldin and Smith haven't been much of nothing up to this point. So no I don't think that it was a bad move to let them go. Our defense makes every quarterback looks great this season.

Yesterday was another sad day, But it happens when you have injuries like our poor Ravens. Bouldin and Smith ran us out of the Stadium and all our heads were down, But we are not dead yet.But slowly dying Things better change John cause if somebody got to go you might be the second cause to save your job you will have to fire Pees.then you.We all hate to see John go so I am hoping John got something under under his hat cause we as sure need it .But we still bleed purple and black Ravens on one (ravens).

People, these two guys are gone no woulda coulda shoulda are going to change things, we as a tam stink you can put anything to coat it find exscuses but the bottom line is we stink. I hate losing like the next fan, but people are not playing the way they should plus there is no leadership on this team as a whole only leader is John and he is not a player, please dont be hard on this team we are not rich plus a salary thing what ever you call iyt and we can not keep everybody let us all take our loops like fans and learn to stop pointing the finger at this person that person and say the truth we got caught up in the numbers game and we might have to REBUILD. There is something called another season is it not?

Cheap? The difference between our Pro Franchises is obvious. The Orioles are cheap jerks and the Ravens mis-manage monies because they have a "Cap", to deal with. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar industry (brand). Everyone gets paid. The Fans, are the abused ones.

didn't he draft a receiver in the first round? That's what everybody was yelling for ....and then he gets injured and ppl blame Ozzie again like he could have predicted that would happen. Maybe you should change your username.

jek81791? I'm seriously convinced we "can't" beat anyone this year. Not even the 0 - 6 Lions!!! That's just how bad we are. We seem to play good in short spurts, and then by the end of the game we've run out of gas and can't sustain a drive or defend our turf long enough to secure a victory. Truth be told, we really should be 0 - 6. If not for the Squeelas missing those 2 field goals, I think we lose there too.

The trades where all about the $ for the owners, as well as the players. We all know that Dallas Owner has big $. But apparently not enough for Demarco Murray. Demarco looks bad this year. But he's paid..... All of our X players loved being here in Baltimore. But they didn't want to give them the $ they wanted to stay...
