Time to trade Steve Smith Sr to a contender of his choosing. No reason his last year should be this crappy when he is one of the few trying to win games for us

Don't get me started on people jogging into the huddle and into position in the last 2 minutes! What's disappointing is not so much the losses, but that all were self-inflicted. Being that close - all of them - Ravens could have won each if they had less penalties and less drops. Usually Harbs is clutch with challenges, but yesterday had me confused. Does Shareece Wright's struggles and Forsett in the game mean Charles James comes right back up after cut? The secondary is sad. Overall performance is bad and Ravens should feel bad.

I can't see that happening. He is of value to us and makes Ravens look less tragic. But anybody who's buying will see an aging receiver with fractures in his back, unreliable game status and two drops in the end zone last night. The value we would get for him is less than what he can do for us here. Plus, don't take away my biggest fan favorite on offense!

i am officially done with football because i cannot stand to see us lose every week. we do not any weapons of WR beside steve smith and our defense is awful. we are officially the bottom feeders of the league along with the kansas city. we will probably get top 10 or top 5 pick of the draft this year. Also, we need to change DC coordinator

1 takeaway from the game.....if we (the fans) don't see an announcement of coaching changes soon losing the season is going to be the least of their worries. Once you start losing fans it's hard to get them back smh

Man I don't know if I've ever seen a team with such high expectations be so bad. We saw the Bengals continue to go undefeated, the Steelers beat an undefeated team with their 3rd string QB, and the Browns take another undefeated team into overtime yesterday. We could really finish in last place by 3-5 games. I guess we showed all those people that picked us to go to the Super Bowl. Were headed into the danger zone. No silver linings. We're not even drafting well anymore. Guys showing little effort, number 3 in penalties, copy and paste press conferences... man what's happened to our great team in 1 year?

I will be a Ravens fan until the day I die, but damn they piss me off sometimes.

At 1-5 even the players know its a lost season which really sucks because we have players on this team that deserve better..

It would only be right for Ozzie and Harbs to trade Smitty to a team that he actually has a chance to win a ring on, he is the True definition of a Warrior.

I can't get past #9 (above). Despite all their talk, this team has given up. Nobody cared whether they got a play off or not. It was like they thought, "We can't win, so why bother?" Very, very disappointing.

Not sure how Crockett Gilmore only managed "three" yards? From the replay it looks like he had at least 10 from that catch...?

They're goal for 2015 must be to piss off all Ravens fans everywhere because they've done that perfectly week after week after week without fail.....

We are definitely drafting in the top 5 and possibly in the @1 or #2 position. Any updates on Perriman and when we can take the Band-Aid off his knee?

SSS PLEASE come back for one more year. I know it's frustrating because 90% of the guys on this team don't have the heart and sack that you have, but PLEASE?

Green Bay has a big need for a receiver and Smith Sr deserves a shot at a ring. Cards could also use a guy like that. We aren't going anywhere that Aiken, Ross and Brown can't take us. Make it happen Ozzie.

As for the offensive line phoning it in at the end of the game, I guess when you watch the defense doing it week after week, you get jealous. We didn't really lose because of that, we lost because Wright is probably not a guy good enough to start against a Torrey Smith, for sure without safety help, and because we aren't putting much pressure on opposing QBs so they always have way too much time to make the long plays. I honestly didn't think we had as much of a shot at winning going in as we did during the game. SF, like Cleveland and probably Oakland is a BAD team. We made them look better than they are, and probably saved their QB from being benched. But we also probably leapfrogged them in a draft pick in March, so I'm okay with that. If we do the same with Jacksonville (who actually has a much better QB than SF right now, and probably a better QB TE combo than Cleveland ran over us with) in a couple of weeks I'm going to get real excited about who we can come away with in the top of the first few rounds. I know it's not the right way to be a fan, but come on -- 1 and 5 with a really bad matchup looming next week. The fat lady is singing.

It's funny because the 49ers play the kind of football that we played for years. Tough defense and a run game to set up the pass. Only that the 9ers play our kind of football better than we do at the moment. There are many factors for that but a big part of it is, that we can't play with our full potential in terms of players. If Perriman would be healty we would have a similar WR combination like Boldin and Smith and it worked for us. We won a superbowl like that. But the little things that worked for us that year don't work this season and we don't quite get over the hump. Overall I think we lost a lot of speed and playmaking ability through FA and injuries and it shows on the field. But as for the O-line I think it is absolutley insulting to guys like SSS, who play their hearts out all game if you don't even show some effort at the end of the game when it matters most. It is this kind of laziness that didn't exist when guys like Ray played. I think that some guys need to learn or learn again what it means to play like a Raven!

Even more: for this single catch the blue line is at the 26-yard mark, while Gillmore lands at about the 8-yard mark. So, even from the line of scrimmeage its about a 18-yard gain.

It's an obvious typo, according to the nfl.com game stat sheet, Gillmore had 3 catches for 30 yards, not 3.

Its funny to see how fickle this fan base is.YES LOSING SUCKS, but its something we don't experience here very often, and we have to take into consideration the salary cap hell we are going thru right now on top of some key injuries we have been dealing with, and yet the Ravens have still been in every single game and have had chances to win each game, again its tough to swallow especially when we have been so spoiled by the Ravens perennial success, but us fans need to settle down and have faith that OUR team will fix these problems and have this team reloaded and stocked back up for another long run of success again. RAVEN NATION we have nothing to be ashamed of, we are one of the best well ran organizations in all of sports. The RAVENS WILL BOUNCE BACK BETTER THEN EVER>

49ers where a struggling team coming into this. I forsee them continue to struggle with kapernick at helm. One win does not make a team great, but I bet the nfl sites will act like is does.
