[News] Game Recap: 49ers 25, Ravens 20

According to all I'm reading, Biscotti may as well sell the team as it seems there is nothing worth owning including the players, coaches, front office, cheerleaders, etc. I do believe some of the decision makers must change the decisions they are making. Injuries to key players, untimely trades and loss of coaches year after year are all contributing factors to the current mess. Where the changes need to happen is not up to me. But if I had my way...

A Huge problem with the Ravens is that for the past 3 seasons we have released, traded or retired players and have not replaced them with quality players. Lewis for Mosley, Ed Reed for Elam, Q for Favor to little Bro, Jacoby for Ross, Torrey for Perriman, Pollard/Ihedigbo/Cary Williams/Ngata etc. Where are the ball hawks, the playmakers, the leaders, the attitude? This is the team Harbs wanted, now he and OZ need to rebuild and replace.

$20-25 million in dead money, no leaders on the team, no sense of urgency, penalties, key drops in the end zone, Flacco strolling in the park, oh! and did I mention pathetic draft choices. Everyone hoping for a blockbuster draft next year, it wouldn't matter in the least. We need some big name players that other teams fear not 3rd stringers and rejects doing patch work. One another note, it's becoming a habit every year for 10-12 starters being out for the season, that is totally a coaching flaw.

Same game, same excuses. How about shareece wright? how did that work out? Steve Smith, as good as you are you almost always choke in the End Zone. Flacco, 2 more int's Justin Tucker, another missed field goal.I could go on all night. It's time to bench Joe Flacco and keep him from getting injured so he'll be able to play next season with another group of misfits.

The worst play of the game is watching the entire offense trot to the line of scrimmage with no time outs with the game on the line. I don't know if it's stupidity, lack of heart, or not caring, but that was unacceptable.

Tired of the excuses. Always throwing in there about Perriman being injured. The guy hasn't even ever stepped on the field other than his first practice. FO has ruined this team.

Well....We couldn't afford T.Smith, and no one expected Perriman to be out, as he did dominate OTA's and mini camp prior to this messed up injury he has....If we had the cap space we would still have T.Smith McPhee, and Ngata, but as you can see now we have like 1.9 mil in cap space, and it will go down if Lewis is done for the year, and we have to sign another player....a.

Oz/ Harbs made bad choices regardless- like paying a 36 year old receiver 3m a year who is only playing for us for two years.  Also, Oz keeps giving big contracts to players who have a history of injury (Webb, J Smith, Suggs, Pitta, etc..)  Also he over paid for Eugene Monroe- lets' not talk about draft picks- that's a sore subject (ahem, Elam- who is also injured)- time to cut the rope with a lot of people.

SSS has to stay 1 more year, we suck this year but we definitely will not suck 2years in a row especially if we hit on a high draft pick. ( Joey Bosa or Hargreaves please.)

Someone made a big mistake thinking B.Williams & Jernigan could fill Ngata's shoes. Our Front office just got lazy and thought that any player could do the same thing.

I think Flacco is elite Joe 50% of the time, is average Joe 35% of the time, and Flunko Joe 15% of the time. He has to be more consistent for us to win.

Yeah, and how about letting Boldin go over $1 mil, I think it was? Not positive on the exact amount, but want all that much in the grand scheme of things. Not sure what the strategy is here moving forward, but man are we missing some of the guys we have let walk away.

This is why Oz is not as good as people think- he shouldn't be given the role of lifetime GM because what hes done in the past

If we end up with a Top 5 Draft Pick, I'm really hoping they cash in on a Blue Chip potential Elite WR. Give Flacco some weapons so he can play the game

I think the FO should draft a WR in the first and a pass rusher in the second. They should also cash in and sign PROVEN CB's instead of taking a risk in the draft.

They are actually our strength our run defense is still tough this is the one thing we actually did right, Ngata doesn't even play in Detroit and B.Williams is one of the best in the league at his position.

Meanwhile...  Ngata sits in Detroit injured and inactive....

One lesson Ozzie and Decosta can take away from the last few seasons, "right player, right price" is all good in theory, but we've learned the hard way that it may be worth a little premium to retain veteran playmakers who can be relied on to stay healthy and are tough enough to play through injuries.

Sure, Torrey got 5 million more from San Fran, but the kid has also never missed a game played while being dinged up. Heck his family even powered through amd supported him playing through the painful period when he lost a sibling.

5 million over 5 years seems like a drop in the bucket now, doesn't it? Instead we get softies like Perriman, Canty and Munroe who seem to miss a game for every one played, and Webby who's been like a china doll since sigining. And why did we guarantee money to a guy coming off a devestating hip injury?

We need to start assessing physical and mental toughness when deciding who to draft and which veteran free agents to sign.

Great  Post!  I wish Front office  would read.

This team will probably qualify for the 3rd or 4th pick in the draft. I'm sure the Ravens will trade back for more picks. They need to do a much better job of scouting. Can't afford to take anymore players who have had an injury issue in college. This team should also look at changing defensive and offensive coordinators now. They will surely not be here next year, so why not get an early start. The Ravens need to improve the offensive line. The defensive line is not too bad. That is where I believe good teams start building, the lines. It will probably take 2 to 3 years before this team is back into contention for a title. Remember when they came here in 96. It took 3 1/2 years of smart drafting and filling in holes with quality free agents.

One guy I've been missing since last year is Corey Graham. Stud defensive back, would be such an improvement to our secondary.

Defense is horrible and Flacco continue his mediocre inconsistent play. The game ending 2 minute drill will go down in history how our beloved team was just jogging as if the game just started? The commentator even was stunned and mentioned he never seen nothing like it.
