And the Ravens select...

Since the seasons over and we'll probably have the top pick I figured this would be a good thread.

All you gotta I is name your ideal first round pick and expain a little.

Joey Bosa....

We don't need a QB. And Bosa is a rare talent as a pass rusher. He's insanely good at putting pressure on the QB and could make an immediate impact. He plays like a Raven and I see pass rusher as a massive need.

Plus. DBs don't ever go first overall

Bosa. Beast..pressures QB on nearly every snap. Reads plays..never gets tired..

best player in the draft. Ramsey or hargreaves would be other options but they will likely be picked between 4-8

nothing is going to stop us from getting n1..

we better lose vs jacksonville.

Bosa, Hargreaves or Ramsey for me. I'll be thrilled with any of them. I'd probably go in that order, though. After them, I'd go with Stanley, Nkemdiche, Treadwell then Boyd, although that's in flux.

If we have the top pick or top 3? trade back, try to get multiple 1st rounders. None of the WRs or CBs are worth the top pick and I'm not as high on Bosa as a lot of people. We can trade back and still land one of the top receivers or corners easily plus we'd get more picks for players or trade ammo. We don't need one of the top picks and its takes a team to win, not a star, just ask Houston.

First? Stanley or bosa. Hard to pass up a potential top LT in the league for any player, and I'm not yet convinced that bosa is worth passing up on a franchise LT, although it would be hard for me to choose either way. I dont see us going first though, I'm thinking 4th. And at that point in the draft I think it will be between Stanley, Ramsey, and whoever may possibly slide between nkemdiche and bosa. Goff is gonna go top 3 and it may allow bosa or nkemdiche to slide.

My gut feeling says we win just enough games to push us 1 spot away from the hands down best players. We're gonna miss out on bosa and Stanley but choose between Ramsey and nkemdiche.

Honestly, I think I want Hargreaves more than anyone, but I wouldn't complain if we got Bosa or Ramsey or even Stanley. Those would be my top 4 atm.

I'm with Grim. I like Ramsey but I think I would go with Hargreaves. Having Jimmy and Vernon together would be awesome. I just couldn't resist if I'm Ozzie.

I don't want an OLB, ILB, or CB just because of positional need. We need some athleticism so badly. We are a slow team, especially our linebackers, they're pretty damn slow. We need some speed on the defensive side of the ball.

Anyways, the Ravens select Vernon Hargreaves III

I thought Bosa opened things up for his teammates to get sacks vs UMD a week ago. That said, I thought he would still be more disruptive than he was. He was living in the backfield all last season. Maybe he's got Junioritis, since he's going pro.

Wouldn't be surprised if Bosa falls as we approach the draft, not unlike Leonard Williams last year (since he was the consensus #1 non-QB prospect almost all of last season). I've heard reports of scouts saying that the public has him overrated.

Ronnie Stanley in 1 ( or heargraves, ramsey, floyd, jaylon smith )

Kendall Fuller in 2 ( or Doctson,  sutton, darian thompson, jordan jenkins )

Anyone think Dotson is overrated? People are so quick to look at the next 6'4" wr and say he's the next best guy, but Travin dural looks far superior to me, our guys can never gain separation and dural is excellent at separating and runs the whole route tree at an explosive pace.

I wouldn't say he's overrated. Doctson doesn't need to be overrated for Dural to be a great WR. I certainly agree that Dural is slightly underrated.

yea maybe i worded that wrong, ive just been hearing so much about doctson and so little about dural that i start to question if people grade WRs on the right credentials, its like the evaluations begin with height and jumpball ability and if a guy gets a high grade in those categories then thats the only evaluation that needs to be made lol. id rather have a guy that can get open

Doctson has some of the best hands and route running skills I have ever seen at the college level. He plays just like you want a 6'4" WR to play, despite being a tad on the skinny side. I do think Dural is extremely underrated but I think that Doctson definitely deserves the hype.

1. Draft Ramsey

2. Draft doctson or Boyd(if he's still available in the early 2nd round.

3. CB(possibly Fuller?)

4.OLB or another WR

I don't want select a WR in the first. Tbh Im really banging on the table for a veteran. We need some experience and leadership on offense once Steve Smith leaves. I really wanna go CB or FS with Hargreaves in the first, and pass rusher in the 2nd.

I really want my man Carl Nassib. I'm not sure where he'll go, but I want him bad for this team. That guy is going to be a wrecking crew in the NFL.

I've seen tape of him. You're right. He's impressive, I might have to jump on that hype train with you.

I've looked up who we play next season, we'll be going against some of the best offenses in the league. I feel like this draft NEEDS to be focused on improving our secondary, then pass rusher, then WR. Marvin Jones is a free agent, we need to pounce on him.
