I kow bro!  Lol!

We all know there will never ever be another Ray Lewis...personally!  And, I don't want there to be cause then it is just an imitation or clone.  I want to see the true leader emerge from this roster.  What I want to see (the way I took it from Ray's interview) is who is going to be "THAT GUY" that can truly pull this team together for a cause?  It's more than speeches or the "rah-rah" stuff as someone here has mentioned.  Along with the multiple injuries and lack of playmaking personnel, there are the intangibles of leadership that seem to be missing from this squad imo.  Things that you can't coach like passion, intensity, relentlessness and attention to detail etc.  Those types of things carry you in the bad times!  And no!  You won't always win a game from them but damnit...it sure is great to see in action!  :DB)

BEAT THE CARDINALS....PLEASE!!!

You know, I can't recall who they were except for Trawick, but on the last defensive stand in the 49ers game there were 3 guys including him that swarmed and attacked a guy in the backfield like their hair was on fire!  My oldest son turned to me and said, "where the hell has that been? That's the intensity we need!"

I'm expecting, like most of you, that we'll get crushed in this one. In front of a national audience no less. Then again, this team's play has been so unpredictable I wouldn't put it past them to win the dang thing. smh

That's what I'm saying!  It seems like that type of "intensity" (win or lose the game) is missing from this roster....minus the injuries and make shift receivers and all.  It's just not being demonstrated in these present day Ravens imo.

It's the NFL..

Expect the unexpected

Well Dizz, the unexpected for me is the Ravens winning this ball game cause they have shown me nothing up to this point after 6 weeks that they can pull this off...on the road...and in primetime no less!  But, I'll give it a shot here.....

GO RAVENS!

With Kendrick is Brooks out we will likely have either TRAWICK or KYLE starting at FS against on of the next WR cores in the league. Good lord.

Kendrick has been awful.  What is his cap #/dead money like next year if we cut him or keep him?

Same with arrington....anyone got a clue?

If the foot is not a problem, then Jimmy really has to step it up. Its no joke, if he keeps this up, Larry Fitzgerald will take his lunch. Fitzgerald is no WR to play around with, he can straight up eat you.

If we don't see way more Ross and Givens I will loose my mind. Cardinals DBs will not break a sweat covering Brown and Aiken. They will jump everything ! Man we better not embarrass ourselves on MNF.

I'd suggest you prepare yourself lol. I definitely agree though...why hasn't Givens been used more. I know we are in a bad position where we are throwing newly acquired players out there but damn!

Seahawks held the 49ers to 3 points tonight..... we let them score 25 points last week. I think this is the game where our season goes to the waste side and changes will be made Tuesday morning.

Ravens 20

Cardinals 42

I'm not optimistic by any means.

BUT.

.... I think the Cardinals underestimate us, and we stun them and ourselves. And fans will be mad that we're not bombing for the number one draft pick.

I think if that were to happen though, and our D actually did things right, I'd probably gain some hope.

The time for Pees to go has come and gone. I said after the Oakland debacle in one of these threads that we could not take an entire season of Pees. It would be a disaster. I would have preferred to be proven wrong but ....didn't happen.

Getting rid of him now does nothing but put us in prime position to get first pick at a real DC at the end of the season.

Since Gilmore is back, I'll be slightly optimistic and say the Ravens' offense will play well.

Gilmore had one game where he produced...vs Oakland.

Other games he was less than relevant. Don't put too much hopes up on our TEs..yet

Larry Fitz - Michael Floyd - John Brown and don't forget about Jermaine Gresham. I don't see us being able to cover all of those guys effectively, as well as CJ2k has been hitting some gains out of the backfield. Unless our pass rush kicks it up a notch and is all over Palmer, they'll be putting up close to 40 points.

I doubt that the Cardinals underestimate the Ravens after their loss to the Steelers.

Bold Prediction: (remember those?)

We win this game.

I don't know how yet, but we do lol

That's very bold! lol

well he's only 3 1/2 games in. He's put up some respectable numbers and made some big plays. He needs to get targeted more. Had he held onto that pass in Denver he'd probably be a cult hero by now. And had we started off the season with a win it would have changed everything. Woulda coulda shoulda.

Is it just me or has the TEAM the TEAM the TEAM lost their mojo. No fire, no focus, No cohesion.  Ray Lewis was right in that interview about one thing,  a true cornerstone of the D has not emerged.

Yea that's what I was implying. No way we should win this game but I honestly expect us to play a good game.. I've pretty much checked out of the season but I'd be upset if the few playmakers we have didn't show up in prime time

I feel like this at least is good for laughs. Look at what other people think of us now:

http://forums.azcardinals.com/showthread.php?70395-Ravens-Cards-score-prediction

Some highlights:

ravens the worst opponent out of the first seven and probably the worst we'll face all season, anything but a win would be a huge disappointment. 38-17 cardinals.

Cards 31-27
I hope we crush them on MNF but my expectations have been tempered.

How we have fallen. There are some nice people there who have good things to say. There are people who even say how we used to relish these moments, but they don't know what happened. Even outsiders can see this Ravens team just isn't right.

And then there are some there that say their Cardinals need to and should crush our Ravens and how that our Ravens just aren't any good.  We'd be saying the same thing here if the shoe were on the other foot so I can't and don't blame them for what they say or how they feel about our Ravens.

I'd love nothing more than for our Raven to put on a great performance both offensively and defensively against the Cardinals...on the road and on Monday Night (primetime) with all of the football world watching.  I just don't have any confidence in this years team whatsoever.  I've seen enough of them for 6 weeks now and realize that they are what they are and that you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip.  All the amount of positive-thinking and optimism can't help these boys!  Either they have it in them or they don't.  And for me, it is the later!  Unfortunately!

Oh!  And for the record...I really hope the Baltimore Ravens can and will PROVE ME WRONG by getting the "W" against the Cardinals to move on to 2-5.
