Funny the steelers can beat them with their third string qb yet somehow I think we will have some trouble. Not saying we can't win, but nothing would surprise me anymore.

The Steelers defense, despite not having much more talent, is simply on another level compared to the Ravens. Plus I think the Cardinals took them lightly. Something they won't do to the Ravens after that loss.

West coast team going East, playing in an early time slot.

Almost always leads to a letdown...

I'm guessing, wrong thread.

The initial thread was about SD, which has since been corrected.

here is an idea: more of ROSS, GIVENS on da field. less MARLON.

sss----CG--MONROE-KO-Z---Y-WAGNER--ROSS--GIVENS/AIKEN

We also get to hear commentary from Ray Lewis about our team. I'm sure he'll have a lot of good things to say...

I couldn't care less about Ray having good things to say about the Ravens.  I want him to be truthful!  If they are playing well...say so!  And if they suck...say so!

I mean, we don't even have good things to say about them right now lol

Well, there are a few good things we could possibly say about them I guess but for me....the bad things are outweighing the good right now!  Their gameplay on both sides of the ball is atrocious to me!  Can't stand it!  And because of it...I can't count on them and I definitely don't have any confidence in them or trust them to beat any team right now.

I know we are big underdogs, but after Arizona struggled against freaking Landry Jones of all people, I think we actually have a chance of winning. Az cannot stop the run either; their LBs are garbage.

It might be a game that goes offense to offense.

Then i think we lose.  Fitz and John brown are a great duo.  I think it will be closer than people think.  27-23.  another close loss.

If the Ravens really have a legit chance, then that probably just means they'll lose narrowly (like every other game) rather than be blown out.

Baltimore cannot pass well, can't defend against the pass (either in coverage nor pass rush); takes dumb penalties and hands the ball over too much. It's hard for me to imagine the Cardinals not taking advantage of the gifts that will be given to them.

It's not Landry Jones they struggled against its there receivers something we don't have. Plus none of our RBs come anywhere to Leveons level

The defense has allowed 4 of the last 5 QBs to have season high games.  They couldn't stop Josh freaking McCowen.  I have zero reason to believe Carson Palmer, Larry Fitzgerald, and John Brown don't score at least 35 at home after the loss they just had.

The offense will have a decent game amidst talking of how much the suck by fans and score in the neighborhood of 20-30 even though they traveled west after just coming back from the west.  As the season goes on, I have less and less issues with Trestman.  Even last week, he put the offense in place to score 31 points but SSS couldn't pull in two TDs and a sink hole got Tucker so they only scored 20.  All this done with a WR corp consisting of a 36 year old with broken bones in his back and highschool level WRs.

That said, if the only pass catchers to catch under 50% of their targets on Sunday (Brown and Aiken) are benched for people that managed to actually make themselves available for the QB then then offense may do more and we may pull off an upset

Carson Palmer has always given us problems, is this the first time we have played him since he left since?  I cant remember who was the qb of the Raiders when we played them a couple years ago.

I dont want to blame our schedule but that seems compleltely stupid to make our schedule like that, makes us at a complete disadvantage and im sure there are a lot of people with some intersting conspiracy theroies.

I see no reason not to have Ross out there as the number 2 honestly.  He is so much more explosive than Aiken, get him the ball in some open space and i think we could see what hes got.  Aiken and brown are just a whole bunch of Nope for me.

No doubt he'll be truthful. It'll hurt to hear it. This is something Ravensnation is certainly not used to (thankfully).

Things can always be worse. We could have consistent losing seasons. I'm just glad this team and franchise haven't. And we have found ways to bounce back even after a losing season.

All i have to think about is how many qbs we have gone through...then i feel much better about our situation.  hell, we won a superbowl 3 years ago.   Some fans on here might not have been following the Ravens back then, thats why i always laugh when people dont want Joe here.

Our offense will best themselves before theirs does.

Expect Pat Pete and Mathieu to get picks

Lol I would be shocked if we won.. but then again, all of games were close. We never got blown out. Just costly stupid mistakes ever game. And injuries. We could be 0-6 or 6-0 . But Im not sure if we can win this one

I...I'm starting Brown against the Ravens....................

I'll be starting both Palmer and Fitzgerald. I love the Ravens, but I know they'll give up a ton of yards and points to that offense.

Man this is a terrible & painful year! And this had to happen on our "20th Anniversary"!

But what "if" we beat the Cards, we still have to go home & play SD!

And if we lose that game, its going to get ugly! Changes will be made during the bye week!
