It's seem like The 49ers defense in general was trying to prevent the big plays knowing Joe Flacco could throw it deep . They really did a good job of that

Yeah, it is kind of sad that that feeling is gone now.  What does still get me a bit upset is I feel bad for the players that are really trying their best in a system built to fail.  It makes them look worse than they are.  It is demoralizing for them.  I also feel bad for Steve Smith because he isn't going to get the Ray Lewis ending.

 

That's the worst part of it all.

I already knew the season was over with last week's loss to Cleveland, but it's still painful to see it get worse. Flacco's turnovers are really getting out of control; 5 of 6 games with at least 1 INT is not good. The defense had some absolutely atrocious plays. I really don't care how close the losses are - we're no better than our record says. If anything we're lucky to have that one win in Pittsburgh. I was foolish to let it give me hope.

What a way to celebrate the 20th anniversary - possibly the worst team we've ever had. 2013 looks amazing in comparison. We'll be fortunate to win any games for the rest of this year. We might even be the worst team in the league. I don't think I've ever looked forward to next year as much and as early as this. Maybe we'll be 4-12 to commemorate our first year. Sorry, but I had to vent all this - I still support this team, but man are they frustrating me.

So from Harbaugh's press convo, he seems to be disappointed with a coordinator maybe both stating, they can't just call plays they have to call plays that work and put guys in position to make plays. He also seemed very upset with Wright.

 

I don't think it is fair to Wright to single him out in the press conference.  The guy has been with the team less than a week.  He was just waived and hadn't played all season for a team that is at the bottom of the defense standings in the league.  So what did they expect would happen putting him one on one with speedy receivers?  This is just like last season where we raiding every practice squad in the league for our starting cornerbacks and Harbaugh would blame them after a loss and release them and go get the next guy who shouldn't be a starting corner in the NFL.

 

Anyway I think the positives on the team are the offense and defensive lines.  We should sign Osmele to an extension. Our offensive line is the one thing on the team that isn't a huge weakness.  The major problem with the offense can be seen with Boldin and Torrey Smith playing for the opponent.  If we had them still on the team I think a lot of our losses this season would be wins.  Ozzie sure has struck out on extending guys like Webb, Pitta, and Rice and letting guys like Boldin and Torrey go.  I hope we don't extend Tucker.  With the figures they are talking about I would just get the best rookie out there.  Tucker wasn't even drafted.  Teams aren't even drafting kickers anymore why pay big bucks for one?

It's his first game and we've seen guys who been in this secondary for years doing it... it's a little funny though. Wright was just on the Niners. He should know what Torrey is going to do.

Our O-line has been legendary this year lol. But yeah, they had a good game last week against the worst run defense in the NFL, the 49ers actually have a defense so it is no surprise to see them struggle.

Flacco has cost this team 3 games this season with his turnovers and resulting scores. The secondary has been brutal as well. Time to bench him. He say's the SAME things after every game "My Fault". So why keep him in there!?!?! Tired of this crap every week!!!

Averaged 3.5 yards on the ground and while there were no sacks, they got consistent pressure on Flacco. 49ers have a good defense so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Of course what really hurts was them taking their sweet time walking up on the last drive.

No thanks. Last I check Peyton has 10 ints and the lowest passer rating of all qbs. His team is 6-0...Flacco's picks aren't why were are losing

I think we need a front office shake up too. I'm not sure what's going on there. Questionable contracts given out to players and not enough consistency was out draft picks plus not spending a dime in FA. I'm not saying we pays guys Suh money but we can't expect to be competitive by signing literally no one. We have no depth

I don't know man... What Harbaugh said was pretty true and it's not like Wright is a rookie and  he was facing against his old team in which he has practice with since training camp. Nothing really should  have been a  surprise for him even if he hasn't been on The Ravens team long.

 

The guy got beat bad for a two touchdowns by double moves in which one he actually gave up by falling downs. I think that's embrassing even for a guy that's only been on the team for less than 2 weeks.

Easy to blame Joe for the INTs when he has no players (beside Smith) making plays and getting open for him! Right now I am amazed that he has 3x + 300y games … well almost 1/3 of the season yards comes from Smith.

Well I was impressed with Kamar . he made some tough catches. I wish that last one counted but it was tough. Hopefully he'll keep progressing. Offense played okay just flacco ints and the inconsistent run game.

Aiken is getting better and better. Wish he could have made some more plays but he's legit IMO. Also liked what I saw from Givens who will rise on the depth chart.
