Sure, he's not elite but he's better than most of the league.

That sums it up. I'm still a big Flacco supporter, but at this point I know he'll never be a one man show. Still far better or as good as at least what 25 other teams in the leagues have.

Also has to be noted, 49ers are one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Our D let them throw for 350 yards. Like I say every week but, what in the hell is going to happen when we play a great QB? Because up until now, we have played below average QB's and made them look all pro.

Take a look at what Rivers is currently doing right now.

I'm not even mad anymore. It's the same story every week.

I'm numb at this point.

This time, all three phases of the game failed. The offense with 2 drops on what should have been TD catches.

3 TD passes.  2 by Steve Smith and 1 on that wheel route to Buck Allen (at least I think it was buck allan).  2 of them were on the same drive though.

This time, all three phases of the game failed. The offense with 2 drops on what should have been TD catches. Defense giving up too many big plays(a Fullback for crying out loud!!!), and Tucker with his missed FG that again showed up to hurt us at the end. Though I blame the field for Tucker's miss more than I do Tucker.

Again, another drive where had them stopped and a flag extended the drive. I just don't get it. It's evident the talent is lacking at WR outside of Steve Smith. Gilmore just needs the ball more, he's a play maker when thrown to. The talent on defense is there, that's the sad part of all this. Our defense giving up these leads isn't because we have nobody on defense, just we have the worst defensive coordinator in the NFL. Pees doesn't know what he is doing, and why he has been here for long, let alone survived this long in the NFL is beyond me.

I want to see the headline, "Ravens Fire Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees" tomorrow morning.

You list the offense with drops but don't mention the turnovers? Interesting.

He also has someone to throw the ball too that isn't collecting social security

Look.

I dont think there's enough talent on the offensive side of the ball to justify firing Marc.

However

I DO think there's enough talent on this defense to justify Pees being fired. Losing one player shouldn't completely snatch the soul outta the defense.

We're not far away from fielding a good team. Our oline is not bad. It's rock solid. Not elite. Which to be fair, is what it was during the super bowl. We lack three things

1. A consistent pass rush

2. Another good WR(Aiken cannot cut it a number 2. Perriman while I have faith is a major unknown. And if you call him a bust for being injured it's honestly dumb. And Givens is nothing more than a number three(one I'd like to keep but still), and Marlon just flat out sucks)

3. Tbh. We need another outside corner stat. I like Arrington in the slot when he's there. Awful on the outside.

We don't need too much. And it can be solved in an offseason. If you want a full rebuild and overhaul prepare to be dissapointed.

He was considered the undisputed leader and the fire of the defense, so...

So from Harbaugh's press convo, he seems to be disappointed with a coordinator maybe both stating, they can't just call plays they have to call plays that work and put guys in position to make plays. He also seemed very upset with Wright.

I hope he's always been like that behind closed doors and was just lying in public because this defense has been an embarrassment to Ravens defenses, and this offense can't finish drives. Like seriously how many times are you gonna fail to finish drives.

Hey Miami fired their coach and it lit a fire on the players butts.Im in no way advocating to fire Harbaugh, but a drastic change is needed. The guys really look disinterested and lack fire.

The Front Office and Coaching Staff KNOW this is now a crisis...............still they won't do anything to "exacerbate" it before the season ends.

The Ravens are just not a good team anymore and that is that. We are now the Detroit Lions with fewer receivers.

How does the Owner feel. I remember a press conference where he was not very happy because of the play calling and the way coaches coached and players played. What say you now Steve?

While it wasn't as bad later in the game today, his play calling all year has been so head scratching.  The amount of times where Joe's first look on a 3rd and 7 is a three yard out is insane.  Also, Joe has turned into Jay Cutler under him.

Tbh. Bosa alone would make our defense worthwile again. Keep Dumervil around and you'd have two ferocious pass rushers with the likes of Davis and Jernigan coming from the middle. With ZDS coming off the bench. That's a pretty good group.

But yeah. I've been saying this all along. We have a good care. Part of it is youth, part of it is bad coaching, the other part is injuries. It happens. Getting rid of Flacco would set the team back years.

Well that whole "Harbs has never had a losing season" defense will be thrown out the door. It's still salvageable numerically, but this is the second non-playoff season.

Legend for once we agree ,  Pees seems more like he is dragging this defense down .... same concepts year after year  people are starting to sniff us out thats why we are getting hammered on the deep ball he telegraphs everything

Ray's a great motivator without question.  I'd love to see evidence that he can scheme for an entire defense though.

He has more insight on games and what it's like being an NFL player than most coaches coaching right now.
