ilike mostert....he looked great in limited use @ purdue! he has a ton of raw talent but isjust that -very raw. his speed is sick and he can make you miss....needs to learn to be patient and let the play develop....and needs to improve vision but with time and reps -he has the raw skills to really develop

I think you are on to something there. Ozzie has a history of drafting well. Hard to believe that he has suddenly lost his edge. We let CB/Safeties go and suddenly they are world-beaters. Something wrong with that picture. We always look at our weaknesses as OL or WR or CB, but we tend not to look at the way these guys are coached in their specialty. More evidence of that is the basic training program, which does not seem to ward off any injuries at all.

Oz is great at drafting late round lineman and linebackers; however, he just either forgets to draft corners altogether, and if he does, besides J Smith, he only uses fourth round picks for CBs

So Asa is still on the 53 correct ? I was really looking forward to seeing what Charles could do. I've seen Asa, and I'd rather not see it again. However I think he will get another shot at the KR position and Ross will handle PR.

People really didn't understand how much fear Ed Reed put in QBs until now! After almost every play he Defensed he got up off the ground upset at someone in the secondary meaning he's been covering their you know what and had to cover everyone's you know what for years so don't get upset now when these problems been here for years! The Defense just didn't point fingers at anyone but look at the finger pointing now it just upsets me because Ray Ray could of pointed his finger at the Offense his entire career but he just didn't allow it to happen! So people need to chill out and watch this team make a change at guard sorts speak!

Two days ago James was the guy full of energy. Can we just face the music and call this season one that is tough to swallow? As far as developing "That Deepest Receiving Core Ever" during Training Camp, we did develop them into Practice Squad WR's who just happen to be on our current roster.

since teryl austin left the secondary is weak. these position coaches harbs rushed to hire when austin left and kubiak took all of his assistants with him have not panned out. drafting must improve and coaching staff must improve

Probably to compare his ability to function in the system to the new guy they just signed. Which ever was better was going to get to play this week. The new guy must have learned the system well enough to risk it, so cut James and when he clears put him back on the practice squad.

Swiss Cheese Secondary! That's funny! I'd say I like it, but it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. These guys have got to learn how to get into good coverage so these 3rd and 4th tier quarterbacks don't leave the game looking like Joe Montana after a day's work.
