have we not forgotten who we are?

when the Ravens went to the SB in 2000, no one saw it coming....even with each win after win....there was no WAY that Baltimore wouldgo all the way...

and that's what made the drive so much sweeter and honest....

and at the beginning of this season, things looked pretty bleak.....and now....

but, like the Coach and says, "one game at a time".....PLEASE stop talking "pittsburgh or san diego"...

if history is any proof, an "easy win" attitude sends bad mojo to our team.

no one expected us to get this far....and here we are....now everyone (including tennessee) sees us winning this ...

as much as I love my Ravens, just look back at this season of upsets....the outcomes were usually surprising, if not totally unexpected.

i'm predicting a very tough game.

let's keep it humble baltimore....if there is time to celebrate, it will be when the final dust clears.

 B) ;)

We don't play for the Ravens, we love and cheer for our boys and anything we say really doesn't mean anything but on this site. I believe that we have what it takes to get to the big game but me talking about it has nothing to do with the outcome of the game or any player or coach getting big headed for that matter.

I want the players and coaches to be focused at the game at hand and not looking past anybody but as for me and the rest of us fans, I think we should talk about whatever is interesting and upcoming for the Ravens. We are not doing any harm in looking past anybody because we have nothing to do with the outcome of the game.

Yeah, I don't see what the big deal is about fans talking about potential upcoming games. It's exciting for us and fun to discuss possible scenarios.

It WASN'T expected, but now we know what we can do, and we KNOW we have a team that CAN go all the way. This team is capable so it makes us want to look past games. To me EVERY game is winnable for us, but they are NOT gimme's. I agree it's getting old, we need to finish Tennessee first, but hey some fans are getting excited, and we can't blame them for that.

What we say here has "ZERO" effect as to what happens on the field. I feel the need to be confident about our football team because they feel the same way!

If you want to be the quiet, humble fan then you go ahead. But don't mock us for being loud and confident about our football team.

We are being loud for a team that started calling out the Titans as soon as the Miami game was over. Ed Reed didn't even get off the field before he said, "Here we come Tennessee!"

Joe Flacco believes that this team has 3 more wins in them. The players are the ones firing us up! When they are confident it makes us feel confident.

If they lose, they lose. That's it. But by no means will I consider this season a failure. It was a huge success and it makes me feel incredibly confident about the future of this football team.

It's all or nothing at this point! I'm not backing down!

Exactly... If people don't want to read about future games and possible scenarios..... just avoid the topics.

Its fun for us as fans to look ahead and have confidence in our team. What we say on here makes no difference to the teams playing capabilities.
Thats why were FANS, not PLAYERS. Players play game by game, Fans cheer for the team playing the game.

Ok, mocking, not the right word. Should have just said "calling us out".

I don't doubt you "bleed purple". I just don't believe that this is a time to be humble. I don't remember anything humble about our superbowl run in 2000. It was loud and proud. In our eyes there wasn't a team we couldn't beat.

Look man, Its cool for us as fans to get super-excited right now. It took us forever to get a football team again, We've suffered with the horrible Orioles for years. Gettin this close to another championship again isn't easy for any team unless you have Tom Bradys & Peyton Mannings with extraordinary offensive-linemen on offense. This town finally has something besides Crab Cakes to be excited about. We take (Pride) in our (Defense). Now we have a much better Offense than previous years to support that Defense, Why not boast, brag and get pumped up? Real Fans Support and Boast no matter what. That support is what drives your team in some way. Humility if we should lose would say " our team has exceeded our expectations this year, job well done anyway".

You do know that we had you beat for the entire game, right? We were called on a phantom penalty or your asses would have been attempting a 4th and 10 to keep the game alive.

Do you remember the "sting" in 2000? Do you remember how it felt? Because right now, we're the team with nothing to lose.

Who said anything about a cake walk, and the media favors the Titans right now. Both Teams are completely different then when they first met, this will be a very very physical game...im thinking 4 or more personal fouls, a couple people leaving the game hurt... but something has to give and only one team, will win....

just for the heck of it..do you really thing that the Titans are going to run on the ravens, no, which means Collins will have to win the game...our DB's are much better now then the first time around andddd ED REED HAS THE HOT HAND

What time is it!!....Game time

Well my logic says that unless you win the game it doesn't matter what happened. San Diego had a caSe to blame the refs and that's it. A penalty is a penalty. And true it may have been a pretty lame call but it was a penalty. Good call.

And I guess us having to drive down the field 70 yards was the refs also? Yeah must have been. Wahwahahwahawhah.

And yes I do remember 2000. It was a good game ...unfortunately we lost. How about the next playoff game that was played between us? I can't remember, how did that one go?

I have been reading all over are this site about you guys playing SD or Pittsburgh. Hahahaha. I hope your players are thinking the same. Yes we both are different teams from when we played earlier and it should be a good game. I am stoked for it.

As for the media being on the Titans side......are you kidding me? Pull your head out of your bleep and look around ..... hardly anyone is picking the Titans.

And yeah ... Ed Reed is a great safety which he proved on a big stage against Miami. Bravo. But try looking over towards Tennesee's secondary and you will see three ballhawks in Cortland Finnegan ( Probowl starter ), Chris hope ( Probowl starter ), and Michael Griffin.

It will definitely be a hard fought battle of a game but some of the fans ignorance on this site is amazing.

As for talking about safeties and DB's..Ed Reed is not a Great safety.. He is the BEST safety all those guys you named..they're good not the best though.

Ed reed is going to the hall of fame...we'll see if those other guys keep getting pro bowls

Hey all in all...its gonna be an excellent game with two great teams.

Before anyone gets upset about the lack of respect. Check out Arizona! Not one person pick them. Defense does win championships!
