Mostert is the guy that we SHOULD of signed to be our returner in the preseason, he's a good returner. But now that we have Ross it's completely pointless.

It could be another Campanaro situation. Maybe it's not really a season ending injury, but they can't afford to carry another injured player for 3 weeks.

At first I was like "is there any chance this a typo for "Morris?"  I've never heard of him either.

 

But then, most people we have heard of/ guys who can play are already on active rosters.

 

It looks like they didn't like the previous arrangement of the deck chairs so they changed things around.

I actually really liked Mostert and was hoping we'd look at him as a returner when he was cut during final cuts.  Don't like Taliaferro going on IR, though.  Seems weird that he was probable on Saturday, then inactive on Sunday, and now on IR on Wednesday.

Wow. Sucks to lose Tali, he was looking good. Seems to me that Foot continues to bother him. Hope he gets well. Sucks to so many season ending injuries so early into the season.

We're at the point where we just need healthy bodies.  Taliaferro is probably dealing with some multi-week injury.  He may not be truly done for the year because of the injury, but we need 46 healthy players for gamedays, and I'm guessing we can't afford to hold a roster spot for too many of these guys.  Same reason Camp is on IR right now.
