[News] Steve Smith Sr., Anquan Boldin Share 'Brotherhood Of Toughness'

14 posts in this topic

Tough, intense, dynamic and physical players like SSS and Boldin are what make football America's favorite sport. Imagine if Boldin and SSS were on the Ravens at the same time. Wow. SSS, hope you are ready to play this weekend. So thankful you are a part of this team SSS.

This team needs to start drafting more guys like this ! Not so much the Sunday school, high character guys that don't have any fire. Sometimes as a coach you have to let men be men ! And not dump the Anquans and Pollards that are making things work for you. Let's get back to some Butt kicking in Baltimore ! ! !

I *respected* AB and SSS before they got here but I *LOVED* them from the moment they went purple.

The good Doctor sure misses AB - a lot. I don't even have a *52* jersey - but I have an *81* in all three colors.

Those are the kind of guys u just dont draft because u never know about their fire until they were put down remember sss was thought more as a returner with no possibility of contributing right away which is what his draft analysis said and anquan was similar everyone knew about larry fitzgerald and they never thought anquan would be more than the number 2 to larry until he started outplaying him and the common thing is these guys were highly rated in fact they werent considered first round so because of that if u want to draft a guy with fire like these to u need to draft late and see true hidden potential to prove the media wrong and to prove they are the best thats the only way you can draft great guys like them

These are the type of players needed in B-More,PWA's(Playas With Attitude!).I don't see no one on this team(except Smith Sr.)that plays with a chip on the shoulder. No Fire & Desire. The true Ravens spirit is not in these guys.Sizzle goes down and it was like somebody blew the light on the candle out.All the way back to Derrick Mason, even the original Q(Quadry) had the Fire.Man,our defense use to put fear in every team. Not anymore."Organized Chaos"RIP!Gone But Not Forgotten!

There's a difference between Fire and discourse...  And apparently there was a lot of discourse in that locker room... a lot of banging heads.  Too many chiefs, and not enough Indians...

These 2 guys are the best receivers we have ever had. Hands down. They Run Amazing routes, hands are awesome, not afraid of contact across the middle, Block very well downfield...Just Great Players and Great leaders. Wish Q and SSS had a chance to play for Bmore together. SHouldn't remind us of Ex players who should still be here...

I'd put Mason in that list too. But when SSS is gone, who will be that guy at WR? Certainly no one else currently on our roster. I've looked at the 2016 FA list and I don't see anyone there either. Perhaps a trade is in order.

Otherwise, we'll just need to have to settle for our receiver with fire being a TE ... I guess Gilmore can be that guy.

Anquan has had a down year ... so far. Much of the reason SF has had issues is Kap, but having watched them last week, it looked like he started to find rhythm. We are a defense that allows struggling QBs to get locked in. If we do that again, I'm concerned that Q is going to abuse our secondary this Sunday.

I wish we could have had both on the team. Toughness, leadership, and clutch...playmakers. We cannot get enough of these two types of players... fell lucky to have had them both wear the purple and black!

The result was a Ravens superbowl.  I would gladly take some heated arguments and winning over mild-mannered guys with no heart that fold when the game is on the line.  That's all we got left now.
