On a day when there is not much positive coming out of the last debacle, Jeremy Ross did a nice job. There wasn't anything else to get excited about. A defense that allows over 400 passing yards to McCown? Oh, yeah, Harbaugh will say "we have to do better". Still waiting for that to happen.

Ross did a great job Sunday, leave the man on the roster, he earned it. Now punt/kick return is the least of our worries, let's focus on improving the defense's passing coverage and rushing.

Ross could help save the season if the Special Teams can start scoring cause Joe is not going to score enough for what the defense gives up so that leave the Special Teams. Cause HAVOC Guys.

By far the best returner we've had this season. He seemed so fluid and explosive in this role. Naturally, our 'great' coaches shunned him until injuries forced their hands. They'll rather risk injuring our HOF-bound and only consistent WR on return duties, than make a common sense decision.

He doesn't remind me of Jacoby Jones, however so far, he doesn't remind me of Asa Jackson either.
