Breaking Down the Rest of the Schedule

2-3 this year, not a single 300 yard passing game, but on the level of Brady and Rodgers who can carry a team on their back. Okay

Like I said, worst offense in the league without him and Lynch.

Not as bad as the Ravens without Flacco, at least they have Graham

We have a good O-line, they have one of the worst O-lines I've ever seen. Plus Jimmy Graham has been a complete non-factor. Worst O-coordinator in the league too. Wilson is the only reason that team has a win, no other QB in the league could work with that O-line.

Our O-line has struggled this year, not as bad as Seattle but not 2014 good by a long shot. Baldwin, Kearse, and Graham are easily better than any WR we have not named SSS. As for Graham, pretty telling he hasn't done much up there after tearing it up with Brees. Heck they even have an X factor in Lockett. You telling me Aiken, Brown, Givens, and Waller are better than that?

And Seattle has a much much better defense than the excuse we have out there now.

Our o-line is legendary compared to theirs. Not many QB's could succeed with traffic cones for Blockers and average WR's in an awful offensive scheme. Edited by Cillmatic

Legendary? Lol

Rodgers and Brady are legendary compared to Wilson, I'd put Big Ben, Rivers, Romo, Ryan, and Brees over Wilson as well.  If Wilson were managing to win games with marginal talent around him on offense that would be one thing but he isn't because he is a game manager who needs a good RB and defense to bail him out.

if we get our ship together we can make  the playoffs. injuries can sting other teams too, looking at the schedule there r lot of winnable games.

Wilson nearly was the reason they lost one of the two games they actually managed to win. The only TD the Lions had was off a turnover. Meanwhile, he led his offense to a mere two TDs. A ton of sacks where he ran backwards and lost extra yards after holding onto it too long. Can you imagine these boards if Flacco had a performance like that? Completely biased opinion by you here.

8 of our next 9 are against teams currently below .500. We haven't played well, but we don't have to be the Patriots to string some wins together with our schedule.

As bad as we've played, we're still in the WC hunt. Makes it very difficult, but guys should be coming back on the offensive side and the defense can only get better... I hope. Edited by Moderator 3

alright let's try this one more time. The season is basically riding on these next 2 games- if we can somehow manage to pull both of them out, there just may actually be a glimmer of hope. And I think if anybody can turn a team around that's off to this dreadful Of a start- it's harbaugh. We're not dead yet. I realize this team has really given us no reason to believe they can right the ship- so I admit I'm mostly just taking a leap of faith here...and I'm fully prepared to be let down.

Week 6- @49ers WIN

Our defense finally starts creating some turnovers. Will hill has a big game and even Kendrick gets involved. Crockett comes back with a big game, and forsett ends up playing and scoring twice.

Week 7- @Cardinals- WIN

Everybody expects us to crumble, but we do the exact opposite. We get off to an early lead thanks to none other than Steve smith senior and play smart football throughout the game. The cardinals keep it interesting, but ASA JACKSON busts open a kick return for a td to put them away with 5:00 left. Yes, Asa Jackson. You can start to feel the positivity in Ravens nation - the fans are buzzing and you can start to see a small glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel, although many dismiss it and claim it's too good to be true.

Week 8- Home Vs Chargers- HUGE game. a loss here will kill the small amount of momentum that they have created over the past 2 weeks, and the players know they have to have this one if the season can truly be salvaged. A win here would create something known as a " winning streak" ( major league)

However we start off completely dead and the first half ends in disappointment. All the pessimists come out saying here we go. We dig ourselves into a 17-6 hole, but we start clawing away with 2 50+ yard feild goals by tucker In the 3rd quarter. Down by 5 late in the 4th, rookie buck Allen finds the end zone off of a toss due to a huge block by Crockett. With 3:00 to go, rivers takes the feild. The images of last year are replayin in the fans heads, and just when we think there's no way he can do it again, he hits Antonio gates for a 43 yard td. Rivers is going crazy and all of mnt bank is dead silent. Once again it looks like our season is lost. At that moment the camera pans over to joe jogging onto the feild calm as can be. There's still 34 seconds left and we have 2 timeouts. He hits Crockett right off the bat for 19 yards and take a quick timeout. Down to 26 seconds. Trestman dials up a doozy and on a crossing route , MARLON BROWN gets help from a pick by SSS, the defender falls down and brown takes it all the way. Yes marlon brown. The bank goes nuts. Brown finally comes through at the ideal moment and this is looked at as the official turning point. All thanks to a crucial pick by Steve that sprung brown wide open. We head into our bye week steaming with momentum, not only our we back to .500 , but we are about to get some of our players back from injury. WIN

Week 9- BYE week - couldn't come at a better time. We have finally found our identity, and there is nothing but positivity around the castle.

Week 10- Home Vs Jaguars- WIN

Perriman sighting? Pitta sighting? No way do two of our top players return on the same day? Yep. And Perriman shows everybody that he was well worth the wait with two tds - making all the doubters immediately realize they were dead wrong. Pitta is eased in very slowly, he doesn't do anything spectacular - but his mere presence gives our offense an incredible boost and we blow the Jaguars away.

Week 11- Home Vs Rams WIN - another home game- and after the show the offense put on the week before the crowd wants more. But this time it's the defense. Webb comes up with an interception and forces a fumble. The ground game is dominating and even the rookie mostert finds the end zone. The Rams hang around with feild goals but they are so focused on the run game flacco hits givens deep to put them away, giving his old team the middle finger.

Week 12- @Browns- WIN - payback time. They beat us at home but not this time, we are a completely different team now. We come out firing on all cylinders and get off to a huge lead, this time we just keep scoring. Pitta catches two touchdowns and let's everybody know he is back and he's 100% - this team is now on a rampage and is on a mission.

Week 13- @Dolphins- WIN- our vacation to Miami - at this point the Dolphins are falling apart and they caught us at the absolute worst time. We sack tannehill 6 times and force him into some bad decisions. Jimmy smith has another pick 6- and we stroll back into Baltimore to face a tough opponent.

Week 14- Home Vs Seahawks- the winning streak surely has to end here. No way we can keep this up. After 3 slow quarters of strong defense from both teams, the game finally opens up. Both teams start shooting it out, and you get a sense that whoever has the ball last is going to win. The Seahawks kick a 54 yard feild goal to take the lead with a minute left. The score is 16-14.. With the drive about to stall out and with no timeouts, Aiken comes up with another huge catch and manages to get out of bounds. We send out our go to guy with the game on the line, and as time expires , tucker 1-ups seattles 54 yarder with a 61 yard game winning boot. 17-16 WIN

Week 15- Home Vs Chiefs- after beating Seattle we get a little cocky. Joe throws a couple picks and Marcus peters takes one to the house. We try to fight back but Kansas city's defense puts the clamp down. We had to lose sooner or later right? LOSS

Week 16- Home Vs Steelers- Big Ben is back, and we barely beat them with Vick. We're also coming off a loss at home. Everybody assumes Ben is going to tear us apart- but just like typical Ravens steelers football, we get to him often and keep him on his back. 4 4th quarter sacks keep us in it- and Perriman comes up huge with the go ahead td. Brent urban bats down a 4th down attempt to Leveon bell to seal the victory. WIN

Week 17- @Bengals- LOSS - once again- we just cannot find a way to beat the bengals. We hang around but just can't catch up. But in the end it doesn't really matter- the bengals already have the division wrapped up and we already have the 5th wild card spot, both teams rested most of their starters- and we take comfort in the fact that we may be able to personally knock them out of the playoffs and get the perfect revenge.

In the end we Somehow manage to turn a horrific start Into another winning season- and how far we go in the playoffs will depend on how healthy we are. 10-6

Of course I know all of this is pointless and it's dumb to predict the outcome of games- let alone the actual details within them. But screw it, it's fun to dream. And anything is possible. Stranger things have happened. Hanging on to a thread of faith.

OMG i hope you are right, we do have alot of talent, mainly on the defense. We can play ALOT better as we saw in denver. PEES has to go first

I really hope you are right, its hard to get energetic about a 1-4 team. I really hope a magical season is born like you. But with PEES this defense will continue to cost us games

Lose to the Jags and Dolphins but beat Seattle?

See what I'm saying now? Kearse is seattles number 1 wide out with the most yards on the team with 274(47th in the NFL). The Seahawks are probably our best bet to get a win this year with how we match up.

Miami has two guys with more yards than Kearse, Jarvis Landry with 312 yards(33rd in the NFL) and Rishard Matthews with 363 yards(26th in the NFL).

Jax also has two wide receivers with more Hurns with 460 yards(14th in the NFL) and Robinson with 488 yards(12th in the NFL)

Except Seattle has a much better defense than ours and our defense no doubt will make those guys look like Pro Bowlers.

Yeah, well we will no doubt be running against them where they bend a little bit more. I'm just saying we match up better with them than we do against Jax or Miami due to the passing game and yes their receivers will look like pro bowlers but hurns and robinson will look like Jerry Rice and Randy Moss

Oh let's be honest, we aren't beating any of these teams

Though 1-15 is definitely possible I'll predict 4-12, with our last 3 wins coming against Jacksonville, St. Louis, and Kansas City.

hello ravens fans. it seems our seasons arent going the way we expected. i did read this topic on your remaining schedule. i agree, you guys will probably beat us. we cant hold a lead or finish a game. our receivers are not good along with our horrible o-line. believe me guys i feel your pain. we in seattle are very fed up with this. we have a running back named thomas rawls who absolutely torched cinci last week. today we didnt use rawls at all we used lynch and he didnt do a good job. had we used rawls and lynch we probably win.i would gladly take your oc trestman over our oc bevell. our epic match up in december is not so epic now. i am so fed up with the way were playing. we play lights out for 3 quarters and once the 4th starts were a different team. its happened the last 6 weeks.

Well, we are the exact opposite. So, I guess it depends on how much of a lead you build early. If we have the lead, you will easily come back and win. If you have a lead, all you'll need is one big stop at the end, which seems to be a problem with your team this year, so it'll be interesting.

WE Could go 5-3 after the bye.. probably 2-6 heading into the bye, so thats 8-8.. I want to finish the season strong even if we don't make the playoffs.

I don't think we lose to the Browns twice in a season, but anything can happen.

They had 10 days off to get ready for Cleveland, and blew a 12 point 2nd half lead. So you think we will win in the Dawg Pound with 7 days to get ready? Not buying it, sorry.

Hey if we win out we'll be 11-5 right?

Maybe one loss and its 10-6.......playoffs baby

I really have to wonder if this team can win another game.

They lost to two one-win teams in a row, both at home and on the road. They had 10 days to prepare for Cleveland and yet another 4th quarter lead. And then they went and made Kap look like a legit quarterback. The fact that Seattle, another mediocre team, managed to win against them despite throwing ints and scoring exactly 20 points makes the loss to the Niners look even more pathetic.

Seattle is not a mediocre team just bc they got off to a bad start. Maybe on the offensive side of the ball, but their entire defense is still intact from last year and they are definitely one of the best in the league in that category.
