Kudos to the Ravens

It's not very often I come on here and can actually post about a Browns win - feels weird in all honesty.

The Ravens played a hell of a game and kept it close - I am still a bit shocked in the offensive output that I saw today from Cleveland.  When you look at McCown's numbers over the past three weeks all it makes me think right now is Johnny who?  I think that talk for now is put long to rest. Watching that game is one of those that I've just seen them lose too many times and I just kind of thought the same result would occur.  The defense looked awful again in the beginning but really came through when they needed to and deserve credit for that effort in the end.

Being on the losing end of many games and knowing all too well how it feels all I can say is that it looks like the defense is going through growing pains and they will eventually come out of it on the positive end.  It's tough to go through these periods - especially when you've had such a great defense for such a long time.  They are too good to not come around - it just might take a bit.

Keep your heads up - things will turn around.  Look forward to the next meeting in November.

Hah well I am glad that you guess I'm cool.  :D

But eh in all honesty I know the Browns are not a great overall team - they looked sharp today and over the past 2 1/2 weeks they really have - truthfully as I said above I'm just stunned they won this game.  They lose this type of game ALL the time lately so it's great for once to not lose it.

Hope people aren't too salty towards you.

Browns deserved that win.

Hey I'll say it now. If anybody should win the division but the Ravens, i want the Browns.

Nah - very rarely is that the case. I don't brag or talk a lot of $#@! since I will be one of the first to admit that a lot of times the Browns = facepalm. I still don't really think they are all THAT good because their defense overall needs a lot of help and the penalties are insane - but they sure have clicked recently on offense.

The difference is that they showed heart and passion when it counted. I mentioned this last week after watching the SD game. There was something there that wasn't in the past. People here scoffed saying "it's the browns, they still found a way to lose", but that's not what I saw.

Hats off to the Browns, they deserved the win.

Same here. I keep thinking of the guy who pissed on Modell's grave when I think of CLE now.

But I am happy for him, just not his team.

how can we lose to the Browns? well, cuz they are better than us. They outcoached us and outplayed us.....

We just need to score 40pts every game in hope the opposing QB's arm getting tired from throwing completion all day long....

We as the fan base have been spoiled for 20 years now. Depleted talent and injuries plus a total lack of discipline on the defensive side of the ball "Penalties". Time and cap issues have caught up with them and that terrible word "Rebuild" may now apply.

As bitter as I am about the loss, I am happy for Browns fans. This is just a game after all, and too often we lose sight of that. Enjoy the win.
