The only thing that prevented the Ravens from starting 0-5 is the St. Louis Rams defense. This year is over so why not dump Pees right now and try some other things. Pees' defense makes journeyman QB's look like 1st ballot Hall of Famers. And cut Babin too, this guy is in his league since forever and still can't line up onsides. If the defense can't hold a lead (or two) the Ravens are not gonna win many games.

Pollard left BMORE and played well in Tennessee... Ihedigbo left BMORE and looks like a probowler in Detroit.... Elam played his best season under Pags (his rookie year)... will Hill looked like the best safety in football in NY (under a different DC)....KLewis looked great in Houston (under a different DC) why can all of these S look great under other DC's (some before and some after).... but yet never cut it under our DC??????????????? Maybe bc it has less to do with the talent of our Safties and the inability of our DC! (and it dont stop with S) I can give examples at every position that will futher illustrate the trend with Pees incompetence!

Darian Stewart is getting a lot of positive attention this year too. Even Josh Wilson is playing well...

all of their yards came on 3rd down, When Pees would blitz like a maniac%u2026 and all they did was dump the ball 3-4 yards down the field or into the flat and take off for 15-20 yards at a time. Our Secondary was an absolute joke and looked pathetic today%u2026 Marlon Brown has ZERO CONFIDENCE, ball hits him square in the chest like 4 times, and he runs back to the huddle like he saw a ghost or something%u2026. Forsett is the only one balling, but he still takes plays off and just runs through the motions%u2026. Thought we got our mojo back after PITT, gonna be a loooooooooong season guys.

My five thoughts:

1.) we're so undiscipline with these penalties. They have cost us atleast this one and the Oakland game

2.) home field advantage is non existent. I was at the game and half of the time towards the end everyone wSvquiet because Cleveland came back in the game.

3.) injuries have ravished this team and we simply could not afford them. Flacco has limit resources and he has still put points on the board. We need SSS, Gilmore and perriman, toss in a potential return of pitta and we could be lethal.

4.) pass rushers needed. We've went from a unit with a three headed monster pass rush to one that can't get there with 5 & 6 man rushes. Suggs we miss you

5.) leadership is absent and it hurts. The Lewis, reed, Suggs, and ngata era has ended and we have no fire as a team and our game changers haven't been able to unite to close games together.

Elam's rookie year was 2013 while Pagano's last season with the Ravens was 2011? And Will Hill has played so poorly under Dean Pees that he was selected as an All-Pro by Pro Football Focus through week 4. 1. This game could have been a lot worst if it was another team... From the report I just read sounds like Joe did exactly what I thought he would. I knew Kamar Aiken was going to have majority of his passes. Joe Flacco can't operate without a certain setup period... 2 Defense needed to change up and didn't. I gotta say Josh McCown is a pretty good quarterback. He is not the most accurate but sees the holes in coverages... 3. Penalties took away turnovers so yeah... That wraps up the game. 4. I don't see Baltimore season changing if Steve Smith comes back because the qb situation I stated in statement 1. If Joe Flacco can't utilize players and not certain players (Marlon Brown one catch for zero yards) Baltimore will continue to lose when they need the offense to put the game away... 5. Either that or blame the season on injuries I don't care anymore... One thing I know is evident that I will sure every Raven fan will agree. The Cleveland Browns don't have the world's best receivers. Josh McCown threw passes to multiple receivers because he can read coverages and I'm sure none went for zero yards. Blame your QB not just your RECEIVERS!!! The article said it they put eight in the box to show what they thought of the qb not the receivers. Hey everybody "Get Rich Or Die Trying" quote... Why point finger at either defense or offense when both could have won the game? This was an offensive and defensive loss. I am disappointed to see Eisenberg sink to this. The truth ignored here is that Cleveland put up 13 unanswered points to take the lead. That didn't happen without the Ravens offensive getting the ball. Sure the defense made the Browns QB look like the best in the league and yeah, there were foolish penalties. But the three and out in OT helped contribute to the loss also. This loss is not on the defense only no matter how one sided the opinions, lets keep it real.

I'm here in Hawaai which is 6 hours behind VA. When my wife and I left our hotel yesterday morning the Ravens were up 21-9. 21-9! Then I hear through a friend later on that the Ravens lost 33-30 in OT.....to the browns....at home....after a mini bye! Pathetic and pitiful! Smh!
