I'm with you guys through thick and thin, but so many injuries has me wondering about the strength and conditioning trainers...why is our team made of glass?.

They used the too many injuries last season as an excuse. Man up and play ball! Ozzy needs to stop with all the old washed up players that get hurt to easily

Regardless of the injuries, the players in the secondary were not ready to play, it was obvious. The secondary coach needs to have his butt kicked for this. I am still not sold, regardless of the injuries, that this defense is prepared to play. if it takes the young guys to fire up this defense then they should open their mouths. There is no excuse for play like this. The Ravens have not held a 4th quarter lead all season, and that was before all the injuries!

That list someone posted from Baltimore Beatdown is very telling.... Just evidences why we are where we are.

Bad play usually leads to more injuries. Bargain picks the last couple years also make you ride the razors edge.

Our Coaching staff has to be in question at this point but I really believe the problem is with just about everyone, across the board. There aren't many in this organization that shouldn't shoulder at least some blame for this mess. Really makes me wish we just did the "rebuild" thing after our SB.

All in all though, as fans, we've had it good for a pretty long time so I'm not hating on our team. Sure would like to see some valuable rebuilding going on from here on out though.

It will be interesting to see Harbaugh try to dig the team out of the fiery depths.

No it's not the strength and conditioning of the team; it is the coaching, especially on Defense. When you don't play well, you press and use bad technique and then people get hurt. When you don't play well you can't get off the field on Defense and then you get fatigued which leads to more injuries. When you don't draw up schemes that are designed to get players in the right situations to make plays and get off the field, they get gassed and then tweaks, pulls and strains happen and boom, there goes your season. It-is-all-about-coaching!

We have been dealing with massive amounts of injuries since 2012. I know injuries happen, but after seeing tons of people go to IR, I am beginning to wonder if something is going on here.

Injuries are unfortunate and part of the game. Lack of depth comes down to Management and Coaches when selecting players and not managing players time well.

And you can't blame everything on the coachng either. There are not enough starters to field a top-notch defense. Now over half the defense is second stringers. No coach can fix that.

I don't blame the players on this defense, I blame Ozzie Newsome and the entire staff for allowing a lot of these guys to even be Ravens let alone starters smdh

How pitiful and terrible has this organization been at getting us Safeties for the past 3 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both Lewis & Will Hill suck, then before that it was Matt Elam, Terrence Brooks sucks, then before that it was Michael Huff... These guys suck!!

And I really think that Arrington came here just to throw salt on this defense smh. Ozzie should cut every last one of them this season. The only guys who give a damn are Webb and Jimmy Smith.

Damn!! I am pissed at this crappy defense right now!!!  I became a fan of this team in 2003 at 12 years old after  I first saw Ray Lewis and the great defense this organization prided itself on.

If I was in that same situation at the same age, and saw this team this season, I would have never been a Ravens fan. Nothing would have attracted me.

I cant believe how bad the wheels are falling off this defense.

I mean damn can they play 60 minutes of football!!!! And cover!!!!!!!!!! Study tape!!!!!!! Show emotion!!! ANd that you care!!!

So your saying the coachs have no input on who is on this team? Therfore, it all falls on Ozzie and his crew for putting this product on the field. New England is in the playoffs practicaly every year and getting low first round picks but still manage.

Please refrain from using the word "tweaked" when describing an injury that takes a player out for the rest of a game.

Thats crap... we should have one that game with or without the injuries. Excuses! If we cannot stop McCown..... who can we stop? He has average WR's at best... they cannot run on us -so we dont need to crowd the box... we cant even slow him down.... he passed for over 400 yards on us and ran for a TD.... IF we cannot stop McCown... there may not be a QB in the NFL who we can stop. IDK any team would even try to run on us- just drop back and throw the ball 50x against us and they will beat us!

"I don't get worn down," Harbaugh said. "That will not happen. I will not get worn down, especially by injuries."

Yeah? Give up the macho facade, Harbs! If you're not worn down by this mess of a team, you should be. Maybe that's why despite the obvious signs that this season has gone into the toilet, there doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency by this organization in getting things back on track.

Guess we'll find a cure for the old injured guys that are the cornerstones of our team (Smith, Suggs, Dumervil, Webb)

"And with the 5th pick in the 2016 draft, the Ravens select..."

All this says is that the guys behind the first stringers are either incapable or unprepared to play. Every team has injuries. That is no excuse for giving up all the passing yards and points against a weak Cleveland team. Same old crap in Oakland, where our awful defense gave up over 30 to a mediocre quarterback and a mediocre team. But don't worry folks, next year's draft we will take another wide receiver, just like that boneheaded pick from this past year.

Injuries happen period....it's a violent game. The real problem is the talent scouts are failing. Find real talent. Many teams have key guys go down and the backups come in and perform and some even rival for playing time after the starter is back. NOT EVER WITH THE RAVENS. Our key guys go down ad we are in complete trouble. Nothing back backup trash comes into the locker room. A few old free agents and there you have it.......

New England is the class of the league. Read what i said again. There is plenty of blame to go around. You can't pin it all on the coaches. You sound like the Mrs. putting words in my mouth.

We lost core players but the team spirit flows on.  The important question centers on how to avert a total collapse in SF.  We are like an injured dog where someone wants to kick in our ribs.  You know Torrey and Antwoin are going to give us all they have, especially number 81. To avoid 1-5 we need O and D leaders to raise the team on their shoulders and for the penalty bug to vanish.
