I'm paraphrasing here but the PFF guys suggested we let KO walk because we paid Yanda and Monroe and it costs 7M in dead money to cut him. Also Urschel and Jensen are contributors. I don't know about their grading but they're usually spot on when it comes to offseason moves and projecting future stars.

We don't have anywhere NEAR enough cap space for him.

Getting Alex Mack would be incredible, but I don't see it as a realistic possibility. However, if it did happen and we retained KO, could Zuttah slide over to LG? Just thinking out loud.

OK, carry on, I'm awake again.

Flacco would never have another nightmare.

Mack is going to Jacksonville, Browns have nothing to match this time.

He would, but it would just be about his no name receivers bricking catches.

I hope that as soon as Ozzie left the press conference he went to give KO's agent a call. We need to keep him. Then we should try to sign either a WR or a CB somehow.

Saw that, I'm sure people will want him here, I do not. We need to get younger. I have a flash back of Mason, Boldin, and Housh.

This is a weak FA class, there are teams with mountains of cap space ready to throw money at a player the caliber of Mack, we aren't even remotely in the hunt. Guys we do this every offseason, we don't sign big name free agents unless they're cut and even then it's rare.

Roddy White would not be a bad pickup at a decent price.  We have speedsters and a pass catching tight end that could relieve the pressure.

Yeah, can we talk about how retaining K.O and Justin Tucker, and signing Roddy White? Is that a possibility? I don't care if he's old. Steve Smith is definitely done after this year upcoming, Roddy White has a bit more time than him and would probably fit into our offense pretty well right? I mean Trestman's scheme is going to change, but with the running game hopefully getting better, Steve Smith being who he is, Perriman bringing the speed, and finally last years rookies stepping up, it takes a lot of pressure off of Roddy. Roddy can make plays or can take pressure off of someone else...man, common. AND he's been released! OMG

We need to build a WR core for the long haul, your WR1 and WR2 possibly playing their last seasons isn't a formula for long term success. Because that's what you get with Roddy, he's not going to sign up to be the 3rd option, similar to Steve Smith after he was cut, you have to feature him or he's not going to want to play for you.

Always been a fan of Roddy but I don't see it as an ideal for him, if SSS retired I would have a different opinion but all indications is he's coming back and expects to be full go for the start of the season. Instead we will probably look to draft a WR early (Doctson/Boyd/Fuller/Coleman) to pair up with Perriman and let them play a lot of snaps this year to prepare for being the WR1 and WR2 in 2017 after Smitty retires. Not only that but we're tight against the cap even with Joe's restructure we really have to make this money stretch.

Agreed. He'd probably be the 4th best receiver on the team.

Not sure how people think a #4 receiver is going to produce at all in this offense.

Yea I called that earlier this season,  as many others did I'm sure.   But no thanks, we could get th same production from someone else.

I see it's officially "sign (insert cut player's name here)" season.

It's been that season for a while now.

I dont understand some people on here, it's like they never followed the Ravens off seasons actions

Yep and here comes the sign Lafell and Chandler chants.

I don't believe centers usually break the bank, for one, and he didn't look like the same Alex Mack coming off of a broken leg. I wouldn't overestimate his value, but it'd be really solid to have Monroe/Stanley-Zuttah-Mack-Yanda-Wagner.

Plus, if the Ravens think they can afford KO, the player who could very well break $10M a year, I think they'd be able to find a way to get a center

Patriots released Wr Lafell. I personally don't want him, but do we give him a look?

Same thing with their TE Chandler who just got released. Could we give him a look if Crockett isn't ready or Pitta is cut/retires?

This. Don't get me wrong, I love Smitty and I appreciate his intangibles, but this coming season is, in all likelihood, his last. Hopefully Perriman produces because I have no idea how good the depth is for the 2017 WR class (lol so early).

Chandler was released by Buffalo, signed by NE after we were rumored to be interested, and now he's released again. I'm not sure that's the kind of guy you want. Sounds a bit sketchy to me. I get it that even good teams make mistakes and Gronkowski is in NE at the #1 everything, but that's what I call raising the Red Flag, M&T.

I do like Roddy White, but I'm not sure we can afford him. He'll be discounted but this WR FA class isn't that good so he may get a couple extra dollars than he'd normally get.

Aside from resigning KO, I really want Travis Benjamin. He's a big play guy that can either win deep or catch short passes and get YAC. He can give us a deep threat this year if Perriman isnt quite ready to be consistent, and eventually be a decent replacement for SSS. He's definitely and ascending talent that I dont think is going to break the bank.

On the defensive side of the ball I think Walter Thurmond makes a lot of sense. Can play both CB and safety well, and with Webb on the field as well that gives us a lot of flexibility to disguise what coverage we're in. Another quality player that i dont think will break the bank.

I think the Browns are in the middle of resigning him if im not mistaken. I personally do not want him. I had him in fantasy football and was lucky to trade him before week 7 or 8. After that he was average to below average in my opinion.
