Pees got to go, end of story......it's been too long.......

If players are playing pissed poor, bench him, so if the coach is coaching pissed poor, shouldn't he be benched too? it's been too long.....if you are following all the behind the bench video or wired, you can see that when Lewis and Ed were here, they were audibling the call and they were helping the players in the right position to make play.  Pees is just here for the show...

Look around all great coaches in any position, they are the key to elevate the players' abilities.....not far, look at Jim Harbaugh with 49ers and Michigan...

Injuries are part of the game, but if a professional coach can't coach up back up players to win, he is the problem...

How about Trestman is working with all the 3th string WRs? He puts points on the board...

What Pees do to help his players?

In short, Pees got to go......tired of this......

Trestman is making it work with UDFA and 7th round picks with a playbook that's not his in his first year...pees has many top picks in his unit in his 4th year and is at the bottom of the league,

you think the offense would be good without flacco or even yanda?

Wouldn't that be due to his players? Or is that just the excuse when things aren't going well?

id say its due to the players executing like they supposed to and not having key players on IR or to many missing a lot of games.

probably also had something to do with many of them being veterans and not inexperienced players.

quite a few made the pro bowl and even all pro under his watch as well.

i never placed blame on the players alone though

but nice try and tnx for playing

Yes, so the players.

Who exactly are the inexperienced players costing us? Most of our defense has many years of NFL play.

Ah, so the defensive coordinatoe puts players in beneficial positions for them to be productive and earn those accolades? Or are the Pro Bowls a reflection of those players' talents and, thus, independent from Pees?

So Dean Pees is partially at fault?

Haha, this cat and mouse game can't be won.

Let's just sack Pees, we all need a break.

for the last time, we lack depth in several key positions that we had last year. Pees won't get a pass from me, but I didn't expect more with less.

Pees should go only because it looks like the players aren't giving it their all under him.

Did you all really think we would be just as dangerous losing McPhee and Ngata?

Nope, nor has anyone said he is totally at fault.

It's a combination of poor play, poor luck (injuries), and poor coaching. Some of the issues we're seeing from this defense are not new, they're only magnified.

Where, specifically, would you fault Pees?

To many, the lack of aggressive play, mismatches in coverage, lack of disguise on blitzes/pressures (leading to offenses shifting their formations/protections to negate them), late game lapses, chronic miscommunication, etc all point to coaching. It's an epidemic.

I don't care about injuries anymore. I'm done with Pees. It's not his fault and he has tried everything from what I've seen. I called him out on not doing enough man but even that fails. It seems like everything he tries doesn't work. That's why it's time for him to go.

Whether he's ineffective due to his schemes, the positions he puts his players in, his players not liking him in the booth, or whether his players just don't like him, he needs to go. I don't care if it's tomorrow. I just don't want him here next year.

Our secondary and our whole pass defense in general has progressively gotten worst over Dean Pees reign as the DC starting in 2012. I also think he could be a little more creative with his blitzes to pressure the qb. Our secondary just been playing too soft under his leadership. Now we cant get of the field in critical situations which in fact Pees prides his defense on such as 3rd down, red zone D, etc.  I don't think injuries is the full blame for our secondary collapsing. I don't think he is awful but I believe we do need to see a change at some point.

Hmm...nobody brought this up yet, but maybe Pees knows he sucks so he is the one responsible for all our injuries so when the team sucks he can blame it on the players. This guy may well be a criminal super genius. Yes, this would explain why our injuries have increased since he took over.

He clearly sabotaged Ray Lewis' career to get rid of him. His evil ways may be the real reason our OL and run game sucked in 2013'. Maybe Corey Graham knew this and left because he didn't want to be next.

I'm starting to think maybe he punched Ray Rice's wife and we covered it up.

lmao.

points at coaching , only calls Pees name like he is the only coach on the defense

yeah man i guess the position coaches are just there for fun right

which is really funny cause that's actually 1 of the biggest things i blame Pess for.

the position coaches not being able to solve issues like miscommunication, missed tackles, players not knowing where they are supposed to be, players not being able to disguise if they are going to blitz and using bad technique in general.

Negland diagnosed our defense in the AFC Champ game, and it has been dead ever since.

It is a passing league now. It is not 3 or 4 years ago , sports fans.

Upshaw couldn't drop back and cover his Mom.

This must end.

Soon , defending 1-10 will be over.

It's his 4th season and we are yet to figure out Pees is Bellichick's deep cover man in Baltimore.

Evidence number #955 of why Pees should be fired....You made that horrible 49ers offense look GREAT last Sunday. Now look at the 49ers offense against the Seahawks D, hello?? Anyone within the organization taking note of this?

I notice that a Seahawks linebacker has no problem covering Boldin.  Mosley can't even cover a running back.  I think part of the issue is our players. Our defense was not good last year and we had one of easiest schedules in the league.  Remove Ngata and Suggs  and what would you expect?  I am not against replacing Pees though.  As then when the defense is still terrible we can all admit it was the lack of quality players and the blame should shift to Ozzie.

bruce Irvin is a OLB, who was highly drafted to be a pass rusher due to his speed. Mosley is a completely different player. MLB's normally don't cover damn RB's Fire pees

I don't know what it is but every time I watch Pees in these pressers I like him less and less.  He talks tough and insightful BUT come gameday...he's in the booth (not on the field with his defenders) sipping on coffee and eating cupcakes (sarcasm) and we don't see anything from the defense that is remotely close to what he mentions in the pressers.  I don't trust a word that this cat says!

he probably is eating cupcakes. If I can recall pitiful pees moved up to the booth when our defense was struggling (seems familiar) to get a "better view" of the field. They preformed better the next week so he stayed. Maybe he should just FaceTime them from his house, and see if that works.

Uh, 3-4 ILB's certainly do it more often than not... >.>

I mean, that's why Mosley went so high and was considered a top 5 talent...
