Do people even watch the games? I'm so sick of the blitz more non sense. He is blitzing... A LOT!

Zone blitzes, that is what he using, also he uses the same blitz schemes every game. Every game they just throw the ball deep, and they beat us, WHO IS AT FAULT. Seriously How did webb become so bad, how is it that jimmy smith is so inconsistent, how is it POSSIBLE to have these horrendous numbers with all this talent.

Because we don't have as much talent as you think we do. A lot of our talent is hurt. You could make the case the some of our talent is misused, but that's going to happen when you lose guys to injury. You have to adapt roles.

I disagree. I see former Raven DB's like Cary Williams and Corey Graham NOT playing 12 yards off the ball. Other defenses actually plan and scheme up, not just put their players in a dummed down soft zone, that below average QB's pick apart like Chili's baby back ribs.

Our Philosophy, scheme, and defensive playbook have to go. I would be willing to wager that if Arthur Brown was on the Seahawks, or even the Squeelers, they would be taking advantage of his speed against tight ends and big receivers like AJ Green going across the middle. Pees and our secondary coach have to go.

I don't' even think Williams and Graham were playing 12 yards off the ball when they were here. It's obvious that it's either Pees doesn't have much confidence in the player he has now or we as fans are overrating the talent. It's a strong possibility that Pees is not using the talent properly as well.

Defense still sucked. Offense did them no favors with Joe throwing 2 terrible ints and of course more injuries. Still sucked though because Kap looked pretty good out there. 

 

Coordinators and coaches typically have 4 year contracts. I believe Pees never signed an extension so he might be gone anyway via his contract being up.

I say fire him after the season. Our season is already doomed and keeping him will secure us the #1 overall pick which Ozzie will trade away for a 3rd string corner who started a few games and a 6th round pick

Depends on what the FO wants to get out of the rest of the season I guess. My money's on the offseason, but the bye week after we get trounced by the Chargers and Cardinals and end up 1-7 wouldn't surprise me.

Can we stop exempting Pees from any blame? He doesn't deserve most of the blame at all, but how can anyone say he doesn't deserve any heat at all with what has happened to this defense? After Denver the only and arguably our most important player we lost was Suggs. But even without Suggs we should still be a formadable defense, not the one we're seeing right now. It's ridiculous considering the fact that the secondary has regressed this way after Pees himself had high expectations for it. There are teams with considerably less talent than our defense and preform at a higher level. I don't think Pees is bad, I just believe his scheme works here. That's all.

I know right? How is the Steelers secondary playing better than ours and we have Jimmy Smith and Will Hill? Who do they have on defense besides Heyward? Tuitt is a guy I like, but I can't say he's a world-beater or any better than the guys we have. Why are we suffering so badly? It makes absolutely no sense why Pittsburgh, who arguably has as bad or worse of a secondary as we do on paper manages to win football games and not blow 4th quarter leads all the time.

I hate that Pees hides up in a box.  When the Head Coach has to coach up the new defensive player on the sideline after a play, there is something wrong.  That should be Dean either on his butt or trying to build him up for the next play.  That made me angry today.

held out next two opponents to 20 points and 13 points respectively. And were predicting these teams to light us up....its a damn shame. This ravens team is disappointing.

He has to go. If we would have pulled the plug a couple weeks ago, we could have salvaged this season. Harbaugh has to be made to do it. He is a wuss and a hardhead, thats why it has not happened yet

Our defense needs a leader with some fire who will get the defense motivated. we have had it in almost every shape and size Ray, Ed, Sizzle, Pagano, and Rex. All of them knew how to get he defense fired up. Our defense lacks that intensity on the field and what we need is a leader. I think firing pees is and getting a guy to lead this defense is what we need.

Harbs really needs to get rid of them if he doesn't want to lose the team. The players aren't buying in, sometimes it just doesn't work and they have to let it go. This can all go downhill really fast. If we want to fire someone on offense let's start with morningwig.
