Man! It's nice to get Gilmore back. Dude is a monster. Getting Steve Smith and Crockett back will take the pressure off of Aiken.

Webb, Brooks, Forsett, Taliaferro, Canty, Yanda, Givens, Waller, Perriman and Dumervil all are not practicing today.

This is getting hilarious.

Its reasonable to assume a few of those guys will play Sunday.  I am wondering why we still hang on to Canty.  I imagine Urban will take his spot at the earliest possible time. Id expect Webb, Brooks, Taliaferro, Forsett, Dumervil, Yanda and Givens to play.  But that's just me

The team signed another RB but since Forsett is questionable, they may also bring up Magee from the practice squad again.

Taliaferro to IR is a complete surprise.

Torrey & Anquan had this game circled on the calender! Hyde & Kap are gonna give our defense fits!  We have too many injuries. This may become a blowout!

It REALLY hurts reading all that together.

I want this season over NOW.

I don't want the season to be over because I love Ravens football. I love it more when we're winning, but I love watching our guys play. With a few bright spots on the team, it's nice watching them execute.

I'll continue to be disappointed after every loss because I always expect a win. If we're 1-14, I'll be disappointed for that last loss as well.

I think as a fan base, we're a bit spoiled. This year, the ball didn't roll in our direction; injuries, lack of talent, void at skilled positions. I just hope to see this team progress and not regress so I can have a little hope going into the off season. Just gotta ride out it and see who's for real.

If we get SSS and Crockett back for this game, and hopefully Forsett, we should at least compete and keep up on the offensive side so that's a plus.

Yeah man Steve and Crockett are easily two of our toughest offensive weapons. We need toughness.

Wait, people are still talking about the Ravens?

Not so much nationally. Every time I go on the NFL Network on TV, or go to the NFL or ESPN websites, not a peep about the Ravens. The only bright side is that we don't have to see or read about them bashing the Ravens. The national pundits bashed us enough when we did well, now they actually have some ammunition. I think I prefer the national silence at this point.

Watching the Super Bowl vs San Fran. Boldin is such a playmaker. Damn shame we let him go. Contested catches, Boldin reels it in. If we had Boldin and SSS and Torrey (since Perriman is out) on our roster now, what a terror this Ravens WR group would be.

I have ZERO doubt that with that receiver group we would be 4-1 or 5-0 and playoff bound .

Big mistakes letting these guys go . Imagine Torrey and Sss on the outside with Q in the slot .

No scenario where affording all three of those guys was possible...

Nobody says it was possible or feasible. Don't play Madden or Fantasy football. With our offensive and defensive shortcomings, no harm to fantasize what a dramatic difference that would make. I do think it is possible that maybe we could have kept Anquan if we had juggled elsewhere under the cap. What bothers me is that perhaps the Ravens could have made more effort with Anquan to continue to negotiate rather than take him completely by surprise when he is away in Africa. He may have conceded some more in negotiations, which we will never know after the fact. The FO has made its share of questionable cap/salary decisions and overpaid other players who did not pan out. Just read the "Stick a fork in 'em" article. The only "outta here" team featured on the video is the Ravens. At least the pundits waited to stick the fork in the Ravens until last week. What a season so far. Hope we get it together enough to not be a total laughing stock by the end of the season. Regardless of how bad things look, I will be rooting for us every game, every play. Our guys have got to be pretty demoralized and hope we find a way out of the basement.

1.Boldin has/had an agent, and he was the one doing the negotiations. Many players never actually negotiate anything about their contracts, or are even in the room for discussions until its time to sign.

2. There wasn't really any time left to keep negotiating. He was traded on March 11th, and the league year began March 12th. Much like Ngata, the Ravens traded him prior to FA opening, because the likelihood of them coming to terms on something they'd already been negotiating for at least a few months was slim.

3. By all accounts, Boldin was unwilling to negotiate about anything anyway, so there really was no upside from either party to continue to negotiate.
