I think where we are as a team ,particularly on D, I don't think we have a playoff worthy team for about 3 years. Forget about

next year for sure. Just dont see it .Way too many holes everywhere.

We completely need to restock.

I want to see how the D looks after Pees leaves. I still think there's enough talent on D to field at least an average defense.

I do too .An average defense may have given us a 3-2 record right now. But is he leaving?

We can only hope.

Our secondary is exactly what the doctor ordered for Kaep. A secondary that made Mccown look like Aaron Rodgers out there.

The question becomes whether our players are just that bad ... Or our schemes aren't putting them in the best positions to succeed. I think it's a little bit of both.

The offense had a chance to put the game away in that first half but ended drives with some questionable play calls. The defense applied pressure but Mccown was able to step up into the pocket and hit his targets consistently. No words can describe how awful the secondary and linebacker coverage was yesterday. That seems to be the theme since last year. Sooner or later we have to get that addressed. Too much focus on Comp picks, undrafted rookies, and other teams trash. You can strike gold once and awhile but sooner or later it'll catch up to you.

With that said, I know Pitta and Rice were unfortunate situations. So it's not as black and white. Ugh. My head hurts.

We have a relatively young team outside of a few older veterans.  Canty and Smith will be gone next year and at this rate it wouldn't surprise me if we let go of Daryl Smith too.  Those are 3 of our oldest players, we have a lot of young talent and I think it times we start playing them to see what they have.  Give Arthur Brown and Zak Orr chances In relief of Smith.  Brooks should be given a chance to start over Kendrick Lewis.  Waller and Givens should be our starters outside of SSS.  Marlon Brown should be demoted to the practice squad if he is eligible or flat out benched, he is awful.  Flacco, Forsett, the Oline are a good foundation on offense and our defensive line looks to be dominant for the foreseeable future.  We need to start cutting guys and letting young players get opportunities

Since I have so little to be "football happy" about with our team, I have to seriously reconsider that I should start playing fantasy football just to have something to be excited about.  I hate this feeling and now have lost almost any hope in reaching the playoffs. So weird to feel this pessimistic, especially so early in the season.

Add in OC .Trestman stinks .How many questionable 3rd down play calls have we seen this year.

Add in that ridiculous 2 point conversion play call.

He's a dead beat. No urgency no "juice" bad combo with Flat-line Flacco.

With Kubiak this year , we are 4-1

Because the Broncos offense , with a lot more talent , is doing sooo well right now..

They are 25th with DT and Sanders and Peyton.

Trestman is doing more with less.

Trestman is not the problem. If you're putting up 30 a game, with scrubs. Something is going well. He may not be as good as Kubiak but man y'all selling him short. He's made adjustments already putting him ahead of Cam and Caldwell.

You make a good point, but man... I miss last year's oline. And I really shouldn't have to since the same players are finally back.

Marlon Brown is a scrub personified

Kubiak was the perfect fit for us. Our OL would 100% be better if he were here. He's not a great fit for weak-armed Peyton.

We can only hope Denver tanks in the playoffs and he gets fired so we can get him back.

If you watched Peyton this year, he is done .Put a fork in him.

Trestman's 3rd down play calling is horrific.

With all the praise of Kubiak the guy had his bad moments and was pretty conservative at times. His best  play calling in my opinion came when we went against The Patriots in the playoffs. I honestly like Trestman better than Kubiak

i beg to differ by a long shot. Kubiak's 3rd down play calling is far superior to Trestman's

Kubiak great offensive coordinator but his passing attack at times was uncreative. You also have to keep in mind that Kubiak had better offensive weapons than Trestman has currently

There is some truth to this,I agree but Trestman's playcalling on 3rd down and critical situations is really bad.

Kubiak was more creative than anything Ive seen from Trestman. Its not even close.

But he seems to have found his stride in the 2nd half last night...just in time for us. :-(

Saw us play, thought "wow! I get to face that defense next week! Redemption time!" Perked him up lol

Stop talking about Kubiak. The guy was a lair and his much more Talented offense is currently worse.

I don't wanna hear about a guy that did us dirty everytime we punt.

Maybe not. That fake handoff that Flacco scored on yesterday was a thing of beauty.

Well looks like well blow another 4th quarter lead since pees needs to keep his record going of games lost with a lead....

And according to Harbs he is coaching good. Ha!

KAPERNICK is going to look elite vs our D.

True! I don't think Trestman is all that bad, probably not as good as Kubiak, but he can do the job. Pees should go in favor of someone, not because Pees is the worst coach ever or anything like that, it's just time for a change.
