Flacco has a 71 completion percentage, over 100 QB rating puts up 30 odd pts and the defense gives up 14 pts in the 4th. It is the offense's fault for not scoring 40.

 

The offense has a decimated receiving corps, clearly the worst in the league, still puts up 30 pts, the defense gives up 14 pts in the 4th quarter and loses the lead, but it is the offense's fault for not scoring 33 pts.

 

The offense plays a horrible 1st half but plays a great 2nd half and takes the lead and the defense loses the lead in the 4th quarter. It is the offense's fault for not showing up for one half.

 

BUT the defense takes a half off (like last week) and looks okay against a washed up Vick and they are GREAT!

 

Same old, same old since Pees came here.

 

Vick actually isn't a bad quarterback at all. The guy can help teams win games it's just that he constantly get's injuried alot . I have my issues with Pees like any other Raven fans but players in general just were bad. Kyle Arrington is not  a outside cornerback and is just terrible at it, Babin cause two crucial penalties, Terrence Brooks got embarrassed by Andrew Hawkins and gave up first down,and most of all players sucked at tackling when it actually mattered.

30 points is nothing unless you have real defense. We do not.

You have to throw to a WR to get the WR a TD.  We don't do plays with wide receivers.  All the plays a designed to be 2 yard throws to a RB, a FB, or a TE.

This has been talked about fairly extensively since CJ was drafted. I can't be bothered digging up all the old points, but it's not some impulsive idea born out of being upset from losing today.

He absolutely doesn't get a pass.  Some of the issues here are without a doubt on him.  We needed a CB something bad and we waited for Arrington.  I liked the Arrington move at the time, but you still had a huge question mark in Webb.  We needed and still need a WR, and I think every single one of us knew that, and we didn't grab one.  I'm of the opinion that we let too much talent bypass us in FA because of the comp pick formula.

 

With that being said, I think the guy still has earned the benefit of the doubt.  We've been a consistent contender for many years now.  No one could have predicted that Ray Rice's fiasco would happen and that Pitta would dislocate his hip again.  That's a lot of money tied up in players that aren't on the field.  That really affects the talent we can bring into the organization.

I'm so disgusted with our offense and defense coordinators.

 

1. We have run of the best run offensive lines in the league with one of the best run zone blocking schemes in the league. Why is it taking us until the fourth quarter to run the football against the 31st rush defense. Granted forsett had 121 yards rushing. Yes but if shouldn't take until the fourth quarter to run the ball.

 

2. Why in the world would you call a cover 2 defense in overtime with speedy wide receivers on the outside knowing you can not produce pressure without the blitz but you call a cover 2 which gives them the first down and like 20 yards after the catch. 

 

3. DEAN PEES needs to be fired we've held three fourth quarter leads in which we were up at least 10-14 points. Due to the inability of our d.coordinator to call the proper schemes and plays we've lost all three of those games. GET OUT OF THE ZONE YOU CAN NOT PLAY ZONE AND NOT HAVE ENOUGH PRESSURE ON THE OPPOSING QB IT DOES NOT WORK

High draft pick and bam a playmaker on offense. (I'm still a fan of Gilmore and Williams combo. Great with a playmaker.)

 

2 year players get another year, and hopefully Kendrick Lewis is gone. With a better safety to replace him.

 

Defensive line gets better with a year to gel. I'm happy with Carl Davis so far.

 

Next year could be a pretty damn good year.

 

I don't like Trestman. I just want to go on record that I like slants from time to time and I like 1st down boots. His play calling urks me.

Biggest issue is injuries but I still feel like Pees is too laid back and hands off for this defense. They need a "rah rah" Rex Ryan type of personality who is hands on, there is just no personal accountability and nobody plays with any juice besides Will Hill and Brandon Williams. If Pees isn't fired tomorrow morning I will be very concerned with the front office, I know Pees was their guy going into the season but this has gone too far, at a certain point he has to be held responsible for this unit. If your old concepts aren't working with this new group than you need to dumb it down for them because clearly everybody is thinking too much and not reacting.

 

No matter who the Browns had in at TE they were getting open and we've been screen passed to death all year, that's on Pees scheme, guys aren't in positions to be successful a lot of the time.

I never thought I'd see a day when Browns washed-up QB throws 450+ yards on Ravens D at M&T and they score 30 points.

 

I stand by my previous assessment of Dean Pees - his defenses of the previous 3 years were coached on the field by Ray, Ed Reed, Suggs, Ngata, D. Smith. It will be a tragedy if he is still Ravens coordinator come Monday. He can take DB coaches with him, too.
