The good, bad and ugly vent Browns at Ravens.

Its funny, our Defense was good early

The longer the game goes on the worse they play.

Its a combination of poor personnel and poor conditioning.

I really don't think this team can be considered good any longer.

People are responsible.  Pees and Newsome primarily.

Mr. Bisciotti, its time to clean house, including Newsome and his players.  Lets start fresh.  It may take a few years, but we don't have a base any longer.

Who is our new GM?....and don't say DeCosta, he's been part of this degradation.

I honestly expected to lose exactly how we lost lol. If you play fantasy football, pickup the quarterback that is playing baltimore. Was up with a top 10 pick though. It's about that time

Also, Marlon Brown is the worst receiver on the team.

Pees looking soft as ever out there.  Plus we should have won the game before time expired.  1st and goal from the 4 and still don't score.

Pees even managed to make Mosley look bad.  Just continually leaving him on an island with the TE after it was clear he was having a rough day.  Maybe figure that out...

Ross did not look bad. But something needs to change. I got tired of the announcers talking up our defense like it is still the D of old. This defense cant hold a candle to the past Raven defenses.

Another week, another 4th quarter lead blown. We had 10 days rest, basically a bye, and can't finish. This d still can't make tackles. I'm not sure why I'm surprised.

What has happened to Mosley in a years time? He can not cover anyone. He needs to be on the bench in obvious passing downs. He got abused by their TE Barnidge.

Also, 457 yards to McCown. What in the hell are we going to do when we face a good QB?!

Dude Mosley has never been good in coverage. He gets abused by TEs and RBs. Excels at everything else though but coverage not so much.

Pees should have been fired after the Oakland debacle. They waited too long and now the season is over. Get him out of town now and begin finding a real DC.

Try to trade SSS to a team that can actually compete for the SB.

I now believe you are correct.  Pees got by with the veteran talent we had in 2012, but we don't have that talent and experience any longer and Pees can't get that level of play out of the scrubs Newsome has drafted.

We need to clean the Front Office out and start afresh.........unfortunately we wasted the Flacco years.

We are a one sided team. We have no defense whatsoever.

We have no QB either. It's time for a complete overhaul and I'm not so sure Ozzie is up for it anymore.

Fire Pees and this better be Trestmans last season !

I agree with you 100% on Pees, but honestly I'd rather they keep Trestman.  Flacco and the offense needs to have the same coordinator at some point for more than a year.  Continually learning a new system every year is only going to slow any potential progress for the offense

I'm having a very difficult time understanding why we're playing 5+ yards off even when they're around FG range in the closing seconds or OT. It's 2nd and 8 on our 35 and Kendrick Lewis is surrendering a deep cushion to Jim Dray. We were also seconds away from losing in regulation because of the how far we played off of their receivers. At one point, I'm watching the Ravens build a two score lead while Cincinnati is down by 17, and then I'm watching the latter put together an other-wordly comeback while the former has its defense allow a lead-changing TD in the final minutes of yet another contest. This one hurts.

Mosley is playing like a clown this year . I have no idea why

5th verse, same as the first.

Defense:  Dean must have pictures.  Just what will it take to get this guy fired.  We did the same broken things over and over again.

Offense:  Put up 30 points, but if this is last year, we never take our foot off the pedal the whole game and we bail our defense out.  This offense, similar to our old Cam Cameron offense, does not believe in throwing in the middle of the field.  Pass block was terrible, so that didn't help.  We pretty much start every 1st down by losing 3 yards, throwing a 0-1 yard out on second down, draw on third down because it's third and long.  Trestman does not believe in throwing for first downs.  He only throws underneath and hope we run to the first down.  Forsett ran well....and then got hurt.  We learned last year that a better OC can make everyone on the team look better.  This year we are once again learning that an OC can make everyone look worse.

We really could have used that field goal.  I blame this more on Trestman, though.  We have a chance to try and get another td, but he plays for the field goal when we are already well in field goal range.  3rd and 7 and we do a 3 yard out...That is going to be all season unfortunately, so have fun being very frustrated everyone.

Yep. Never been. Shouldn't have been in that situation but that's Pees for you.

Week 1 - We lose our real defensive leader (Suggs is more of a leader than Pees) in Terrell Suggs.

Week 2 - Defense just blows it (much like when we got pancaked by the Texans right after losing Ray Lewis.)

Week 3 - Gilmore goes down (Playmaker on Offense)

Week 4 - Smith Sr. goes down (Number 1 player on offense)

Week 5 - Doom, Forsett, and Webb go down

On top of that, Canty is out.

I think in a lot of cases, that many injuries to that many star players is going to doom us.

That leaves Flacco, Tucker, and Jimmy Smith as our only "star players" completely healthy.

Also, Marlon Brown is the worst receiver on the team.

People are finally starting to realize how bad he is. He literally can't do anything well. Plays extremely small and timid, has no hands, runs sloppy routes and is slow.

True that. They've been talking up the defense for years; other fans are the same way. It's almost like they don't watch our games and only make assumptions based on history.

We are Done!! Our DC must go!! This team is unrecognizable anymore. We are being outplayed and out coached every single game.

Say what you want, but Flacco has been way worse than last year so far. I thought year 8 would be his ascension to elite status, but he just keeps playing poorly when it matters. And I don't think he can make his receivers into stars quite yet.

Yeah, having the Bengals game on in the corner of my screen made this a particularly tough loss.

Please man . We were in a position to win again with Forsett's td run . The 2 point conversion play call was beyond bad!

Cleveland set an all time passing yards record today !

They have been around awhile my friend

Well we officially reek of spent fuel. So we better retool in every department - coaching and players.

this is a bit out of the line.

everybody got crazy after the draft. One got the impression that we do not even play anymore and will be handed the suberbowl for free.

then all those injuries happen. Who could know that perrimans body is made of glass?

The only thing that we knew was that our secondary was crap from the beginning. way too much hype on webb who technically had not even 1 good year...

top 5 pick is all we have to hope for??

really? is this all we have left on defense? smh

When I die I want the Ravens defense to lower my casket.

So they can let me down one more Time

LMAOOOOOO

Yes Pees needs to be fired but we also need to start looking for a new OC. First and goal and the Ravens played for the tie... if you don't believe me watch that final scoring drive again and its clear. Also watch that final Browns TD again and explain those missed tackles...

I was feeling pretty good about Aiken and the play calling in the first half ... they anticipated run and we mixed it up well. Then, pass game went into a coma. Aiken seems like a keeper, but is obviously not a #1. Brown is just lost out there.

It is unreal. This team finished last season with a sense that had they just not lost so much in the secondary that they would have contended for a super bowl. Now they are a team with so many holes, I can't even fathom where we are going to begin to try to fix them.

Brady is 38 and in a lot of ways he's a better player now than when he was 30. I don't think QB's have the same timeline career wise as basically every other position, Flacco still has PLENTY of football left in him, he hasn't taken much punishment over the years and has taken really good care of his body. I think he can definitely play at a high level for another 6-8 years.

Yep. Never been. Shouldn't have been in that situation but that's Pees for you.

People say he's a 3 down back but I don't understand if he's not very good in coverage. I'm not bashing him because he's great at the other stuff.
