Will Davis out for year with torn ACL. When will this end?

Because he's been on the team for less than a week. He's a #4 wideout. Nothing more.

They are all #4's at best. Hope Waller is well the guy looks like he cares unlike Marlon

Did pees do a post game interview?? Anyone else waiting for a notification from Ravens app alerting that pees has been fired.. It's sad I never desire bad upon anyone but this team needs a change.

I'm a huge fan of watching Peas do pressers. He throws players under the bus , makes jokes with a sly grin , and refuses to take blame

Telling you, our conditioning coach is a joke. I have a hard time believing we would be this injury ridden if we had the right personnel.

ACL has very little to do with conditioning. Jamaal Charles tore his without contact. Does that mean he wasn't conditioned?

You forgot to mention his passion. And how he seems to live and breathe his job.

Zadarius Smith was probably our worst player yesterday. Talk about no pressure. The front office was really comparing this guy to McPhee?

He was open more than once and Flacco didn't even look at him.

He is a #1 compared to the garbage they trot out there : Marlon Brown and Aiken

I could not beleive all the bonehead penalties at the most idotic of times!  The coaches have to seriously do something about this BS.  We lost to the Browns @ home for the first time in 8 years!  We have never been 1 and 4 in the history of the franchise.  We need to fix this and fix it fast!

We are finished. Several years of low draft picks has finally caught up with our talent level on this team. The next few years are going to be spent building up the talent levels through the draft process only if we begin drafting well again.

It is time there was a change of scenery with the Ravens. Ozzie needs to retire to allow Eric DeCosta to take over. Pees needs to be replaced by a defensive coach currently with the Ravens. We need to move on to start aggressively planning for next season.

I agree.  It still baffles me how guys can line up off-sides on defense when they are right at the ball.  I will never understand how someone can do that, complete lack of concentration and focus

That seems a bit drastic with Ozzie stepping down.  We have the ability to have a quick turnaround similar to last year after our dismal 2013 season.  Pieces are there and with a potential top 10 pick we should be able to restock fairly quickly, plus we will have cap room for the first time in a few seasons.  Let go of Pees and bring in some new defensive talent and we will be much improved

I'm not on the Pees Hatewagon, I think he is a good coach, but I do think he's performed poorly this year and it's time for a change in that department.

ellicottraven makes a very good point, we have had several good years and it has hurt the talent level of the team somewhat. We've also seen several promising players accomplish much less than they should have.

Webb, hurt again, really??? Get yourself in shape! Suggs, achillies again??? Come on guys....

Just tank.

A lot of people can't seem to come down this reality. We've been winning so much this past few years that we've forgotten how it feels to lose.

Yeah, yeah. We're not the one to give up the season. Like we're going to come out publicly to admit that. No team will.

Never in the SB? Maybe you didn't have your coffee yet when you typed that, lol. They won in 2012 using that approach. I'm just throwing it out there that this is the first year the Ravens drafted it's first two picks on offense and is the first year they've started 1-4. I'm only stating the facts whether its a reason or not. I'm sure if they were 4-0 some would have pointed this out and it wouldn't have made anymore sense than me pointing this out at 1-4.

You cannot deny the fact there is a thread devoted to trading for a WR. So, I am simply stating that maybe that should be the route the team takes and stick to drafting top defensive players which they've shown more success at doing.

Did it cross the thoughts that there is a reason Perriman was still available and perhaps he wasn't a steal? Did other teams know his weakness (knees) and we ignored it?

It took our QB having a ridiculous run (only one other QB in the history of the NFL, do you realize how long that is?) ever had such a run. That should have been our first clue we'd better revamp.

I'm simply stating other facts again. The yes the offense did score and gain the lead. But...then the offense hit a dry spell and didn't score again until the lead had evaporated. Then came the 3 and out in overtime, again left it to the defense, that failed.

Either side could have won the game. Did defense stink? Yes! Yes! Yes! Did offense stall when it had a chance to shut the Browns down? Yes! It's just easier to see the more visible cause of the defense, including the silly penalties.

Fly already addressed this and took the words right out of my mouth. The offense is overperforming given the talent level we're fielding in our receiving corps. They put up 30 pts with that JV corps. That is impressive. There is simply no way to pin this on the offense.

i'd rather tank. look how much you CAN get from a number 1 pick... look what washington gave for RG3... teams are willing to trade the barn for a QB.

No time did I attempt to pin the loss on the offense. My apology if that's what it sounds like. I simply look at the entire picture and see where the offense, in spite of their weakness, had opportunity to capitalize with a close out of the game but did not. It may be just my opinion but both sides faltered, though defense more than offense. Still both!

The offense put up 30 points. Bottom line. If 30 points is enough to beat GB or Cincy, it is enough to beat a Josh McCown led Browns team, at home no less.

My only beef with this is, if we go back to 2013, when the offense stunk up the place, many here blamed the defense, even with very few points given up. They would then blame the defense for giving up a lead cause they were on the field last. Why is it different now? Serious question

Perception of talent. 2013 we just saw an all-time great performance for our now highly paid QB, and we thought we could run the ball on everybody (turned out the opposite was true).

Was hard to have high expectations for the 2015 offense given the personnel (or lack thereof).

But but but we only lost our center from our SB Champion o line. What was the problem? As people are saying now, we had the talent, didn't we?

...pardon the sarcasm

In 5 games Waller has had a grand total of 6 targets...2 were Flacco patented dying quails. 1 was a concussion.

Aiken has had 27.....M. Brown of all people about 20.

This is so bad, I am beginning to think we need to shop Flacco. We can't afford anyone that can help us because Flacco broke the bank.

Lets bust this up and start afresh. The only problem with that is it took Ozzie over a decade to find a QB2 in Joe. Let Flacco go and we will be saddled with Bolers, past prime McNairs, Grebecs and the like. We won't get a QB3 under Oz's flawless guidance.

Clueless. You really ought to dig a little deeper. This is just incorrect.

At this point all I want from this season is to get Perriman on the field and he plays very well to give our receiving corp some hope heading into next year. It would also be nice if Maxx Williams played better than a 5th round pick from a small school.

We all need to breathe for a second. It's really our first season in 8 years where we probably won't be in a position to fight for a playoff spot. Last season we went toe to toe with the eventual super bowl champs on their home field. We aren't all of a sudden the Jaguars because we started the season 1-4. We've had losing seasons before with Ray and Ed in their primes. We've have a defense that looked pathetic with Rex calling the plays. This isn't new. Unless you're the Pats, these types of seasons happen. The Packers went 4-12 with Brett Favre. Steelers fans were freaking out after consecutive 8-8 seasons, including one where they started 0-4. We are a team dismantled by injuries and we don't have the depth to overcome it.....

.... and thats where the topic shifts to Ozzie. I'm sure he knows this... An eye opener. I'm sure this will be his focus. We don't have depth at any position. We have talent on both sides of the ball. Players who will be big names soon. But we don't have enough talent spread across the roster and it shows. To inexperienced at key positions. Not enough discipline. Players who aren't burning inside to win. We lack heart. Going to be a critical offseason.

Not really. Our talent was good enough to have us ranked 17th in offense that year...in other words, mediocre

Mosley was awful

Mosley was horrible.  The whole defense was lacking. We somehow did get four sacks I believe.

Will Davis went down....not sure how injured Webb is.

Gonna be interesting next week. I'm thinking Kaepernick resurrects his sinking image.
