The good, bad and ugly vent Browns at Ravens.

I don't understand how a big chunk of our players suddenly get worse.

What happened to Jimmy and Mosley and Wagner etc.

mosley i think hust had a bad game besides barnidge is having a hell of a year and duke johnson is one of the most elusive backs in the game something we struggle at defending(latavius murray and leveon bell)... my theory is on jimmy and rick is they both suffered the same injuries maybe its a hard injury to get over... i dont know but jimmy played well today it just looked like we didnt because kendrick and will didnt come to play today

Pees is too conservative.........Pees blitzes too much..............fire Pees

At some point people need to realize that the Ravens D has a lot of players that just aren't very good, and the rest aren't good enough(yet maybe?) to cover up others inadequacies.

Pees probably ends up being a casualty here, but the blame is on poor tackling and dumb football. We need to cut ties with players like Upshaw, Webb, Jernigan, Babin, etc. and build to keep a core that can learn to play as a unit.

And yeah, the O did disappear for a spell in the second half. But they did a GREAT job in this game considering whatthey had to work with.

Dean Pees has figured out a way to make Mosley look bad after his terrific rookie season last year. Mosley will be fine with a new DC who knows how to use him properly.

An ILB needs to be able to cover a TE, no matter who is playing for.  lol

On the topic of Ozzie...

He absolutely doesn't get a pass.  Some of the issues here are without a doubt on him.  We needed a CB something bad and we waited for Arrington.  I liked the Arrington move at the time, but you still had a huge question mark in Webb.  We needed and still need a WR, and I think every single one of us knew that, and we didn't grab one.  I'm of the opinion that we let too much talent bypass us in FA because of the comp pick formula.

With that being said, I think the guy still has earned the benefit of the doubt.  We've been a consistent contender for many years now.  No one could have predicted that Ray Rice's fiasco would happen and that Pitta would dislocate his hip again.  That's a lot of money tied up in players that aren't on the field.  That really affects the talent we can bring into the organization.

You're being very kind.

We do need to move into the modern era.  Which is not to say good defense should be abandoned. But there is no defense to what we've experienced since the Championship and even a bit before.

Ozzie's recent track record is not very g ood.

Hmmm  I can definitely prove that wrong if you want me too because the last time I check this has been the only season where The Ravens have been this bad in John Harbaugh era in like the past seven years.

This is the most concerning thing of the day, though.

Ravens injury toll after loss: Dumervil (groin), Forsett (ankle), W.Davis (knee), Waller (concussion), Webb (hamstring).

Season is over anyway, hate to see our guys get injured but it's not like we're competing for a playoff spot at this point either way.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but there's this thing called a salary cap that makes it nearly impossible to craft the "perfect" team.  There are always going to be holes, and especially so with the amount of dead money we have on our cap right now.  There's still a bad product on the field, but Ozzie has more than earned the benefit of the doubt.  Would you rather have someone like Ryan Grigson at the helm?  He's trying the whole idea of getting flash players and look how that's working out for him.

Another third and 2 in the fourth quarter and Trestman goes for another bomb again. He has done that late in the game three times now and we lost every one of them. You do not do that in a critical close game. Trestman has to go.

All I'm saying is if the defense didn't allow 500 yards every game we could seriously be 4-1. If the offense did the exact same and the defense did any better I think your tune would change on trestman. I say fix the defense before you go calling for the mans head. If the defense gets fixed and he blows it ok, but I think your being a tad hasty on him.

Good: Run game looked solid

Bad: We had a chance to blow this game open in the first half and didn't.

Ugly: That secondary. Ugh.

The Pats lost a lot of players on that defense and they're still playing with discipline and heart out there. There is enough blame to go around. Ozzie underestimated the importance of a few of his former players and put too much faith in these scubs. Pees just needs to go. Nothing more to be said there. But the offense isn't any better. That 3 and out to start OT is unacceptable. I don't care who your wideouts are.

It's a rebuilding year. That's fine. I expect us to clean house this summer. Harbaugh needs to switch things up a bit as well.

Funny, since 30 points would have been enough to beat Green Bay and Cincy today, two of the best offenses in the league

Yep I guess Joe will have to put up 40 points for us to win . This is too much to ask with scrub receivers and tight ends that are slowwwww( there is hope here though ) . When Forsett went out I knew we were done .

Who added Babin to the roster? Two costly penalties. Josh McCown proves that the Ravens pass defense is of average HS ability....the tonic for ailing QBs in the NFL.

Steelers fans must be really pissed off after this. Their team gave us our only win.

Crazy that we could've easily been a 0-5. Thank goodness for scobee.

Two costly penalties by Babin led to 2 TDs when we had the stop. A vet that took more than 2 weeks to get active and offers absolutely nothing positive on a team with no pass rush, this bum needs to go

So my view of the 2015 ravens including today... daryl smith i think is wearing down and is losing his athleticism giving ground to running backs giving himself terrible tackling angles... cj was i think a little outmatched today wont hold it against him... will just forgot how to play today i wont hold it against him... kendrick has been the worst player on this defense as far as im concerned through the first 5 weeks but i mean so was stew last year... and ever since the middle of last year he has been one of the best safeties in football... jimmy just had 2 bad games with bad playcalling... lardarius webb has really stepped up this year but you guys still hate him... i like will davis but i loved rashaan after the jacksonville game last year now look at him... Brandon and marshall get mvp for there respective sides of the ball... marc has actually found a way to make joe look worse than last season... justin and the ground game has gotten it together... true football fans that know what is going on will know why marlon is in the slot and in the game so often... it because he is one of the best blocking wide recievers in the game... hes not in the game all the time but when he does he blocks and does a good job at the 3 or 4 routes that is called for him joe just doesnt look to him all the time... like joe normally does will not go through a progression will stare down one reciever and will through it no matter what the coverage is... can be stone like in the pocket and wont move his feet causing him to feel pressure and be scared the rest of the way in the game... tucker coulda really helped us if he didnt miss a field goal... this browns team actually is not a bad football team and mccown is a pretty good qb if he is protected and thats the key... i think though that this will be a season when the teams we play just outmatch us to be honest i say its a 6-10 season weve been spoiled for too long... i think we can deal with one off season

Steelers are terrible too, we'll both be drafting in the top 15 if not top 10.

Again for the hundreth time our weakest position coming into this year was CB so what did they do again to help this position?

The Ravens had interest in veteran cornerbacks other than Kyle Arrington. Cornerbacks that came to mind were Cary Williams, Tramon Williams,Perrish Cox, and  Tarell Brown.. It's not The Ravens fault that those players decided to pick another  team and accept more money.

The Ravens overall just drafted Tray Walker in the fourth round, signed Kyle Arrington and had hope that Webb could stay healthy like he did in 2013. I also have to believe they had some faith that Rashaan Melvin would take another step in positive direction as well and he actually seem like he was because he was constantly getting positive remarks in training camp.

Ravens football as i knew it, IS OVER!!! Teams used to fear us, at home or away! Not anymore. Its time to clean house at the end of the season! Harbaugh, Ozzie, Trestman, Pees must go! End of an era, time for some new faces! Dont bring in anymore players, just play this season out with the guys we have! Our playoff hopes ended today! We lost to the Browns, @ HOME!!!!!!!

I would be shocked if we win another game this year! Another heartbreaking lost! I cant take it anymore

I don't think losing Forsett is what did us in. Seems at the end we lost this game at the line, on both sides of the ball.  We got man handled.

Past three years

Juice

B.Williams

CJ Mosley who may have had a bad game but is a hell of a player.

Wagner who has been improving ever since the injury. Browns do not have a bad pass rush

ZDS has played well

Carl Davis

Nick Boyle has played well

Jernigan

Brooks has had his moments.

John Urschel is not a bad guard. I think he's why we let KO walk

Lorenzo is a good complimentary back

As is Buck Allen

All from the past 3 drafts. They have all had moments. So where is he screwing up?

It's a young team. They are bound to make mistakes. It's how the NFL works

As crazy as this sounds, looking at the last wildcard spot...a 8-8 team can grab one. It's not completely over.
