[News] Returner Ross Promoted To Active Roster

Good move although Asa more speed. Regardless, it's better than having an regular DB or WR putting themselves at added risk for injuries.

Smart move not only a return guy but a WR as well we can see what he can do if the others don't deliver. I guess I am saying just another option if they need it.

His return numbers look good but his fumbles scare me (4 last year).

I hear you .. anything positive that a returner does goes out the window if they put the ball on the ground. Hopefully, that doesn't come to bite us.

Ross and Givens with experience.  Smart move.  Why risk injury to the fastest we have when Ross takes a natural position

I love this; we should use him and givens in wide receiver sets with Kamar to make CBs back up that's good speed on the field 2 4.3 Wrs at the same time

Don't need him to do anything spectacular, yeah it would be nice but As long as he makes smart decisions and doesn't muff the ball it's all good.

Right now, the Ravens have 4 of 5 WRs faster than the average speed of the NFL WRs. The average speed of the NFL in 40 yard dash is 4.55. Ross-4.44, Aiken-4.45, Waller-4.46, Givens-4.41. Only M.Brown is below average speed at 4.63. The Ravens have fast guys at WRs so speed is not a problem as long as plays are designed for high percentage throws. Now that Monroe is back on the blind side, I think the passing percentage will go higher than usual tomorrow.

To chuchu 707... The difference is slight(Asa 4.41) and as you said Asa is more shifty. And as some has alluded to his holding on to the ball is a problem which seems to make it a coin flip on who one picks. I guess the determining factor was Ross is a WR. Just wondering why he was allowed to get away from his previous team? Regardless, let's hope this move works out.

Good move, Ozzie must have saw my comment yesterday when I criticized the staff for not getting a guy specifically to play the KR PR position. Lol

Or mine earlier when I said it makes most sense, if taking someone off PS to take the one who provides returner skills, but back-up WR as well if needed, considering our troubles.

Or rather, Ozzie is a damn smart man who knows what he's doing :)

I forgot we had this dude. Wonder why this move took so long. You would think with us being short handed they would have promoted him earlier and Get him reps, but I don't know how practices work out so maybe he's pretty comfortable

I like this move alot. Why put Givens or Webby at risk? If this guy can live up to his stat avg I'll be happy.

My guess is they practiced all week and then promoted the guy who performed the best.

Expecting SR..not to play. Browns run D worst in NFL, but you expect a stacked box.. Hopefully Forsett can get off. Take some shots deep with Givens. A lot of TE action in pass game Williams,Boyle, and Rbs too Buck Allen,Forsett,Juice
