[News] Ravens View Browns As Tough Rivals

19 posts in this topic

all eyes will be on Monroe, this sunday. I'm a believer but he has GOT to come back with a vengeance.

It seems like every week it's: "oh, these guys are so tough" and "this is some of the talented players in the league." The mentality of this team needs to shift to: "we're going to kick their butts" and "get ready to be curb stomped"

There are no easy games or definite wins or losses in the AFC North. Toughest division in football for a long time now.

There are no definite wins or losses, ever, unless a team literally doesn't show up.

The Browns have played tough against the Ravens on many occasions and this game may be no exception.  I think we win this game but I expect the Browns to come ready for battle. Need 100% effort and focus in what I see as another "Must win" game to keep clawing our way back in the standings.

This is about the time of the week you gotta get your mind right. Yeah we won last week, but it's in our best interests to remember we're 1-3, coming off a game that Pittsburg tried to hand to us on a platter several times before we caved and just accepted victory. Given the way Cincy is playing, the probabilities that we're playing for a Wild Card spot are pretty high. So another loss within the division and conference could have serious ramifications come December and January.

The Browns aint coming here to just let us cruise.

The Browns will play harder than the squeelers whom "SPLIT" with them last season unlike the Ravens whom broke out the broom on them "BARELY"! LETS GO

Brownies play us tougher than they do ANY other opponent. Our guys would be wise to buckle the chinstraps and get ready for a tough fight!

I'm very confident that the Ravens are going to be winners Sunday, as they do have a lot more going for them on both sides of the ball. That being said, look for a close game at the end. I've got a feeling Flacco is immune to pressure. In fact, I'll go a step further...I think he relishes pressure and doesn't want to win comfortably.?!?. It seems will take it by 14 points or so, but that's only on paper and not the Raven way, the last few years. Look for a real dogfight!

This game to me is a make or break game. The Ravens can not afford another loss this early in the season. I realize we have many holes in our offense and defense because of injuries but I know we have tons of talent on this team. So lets get after these guys fast PLEASE!

We were at the last game in 014 against the Browns.  That was gritty and an example of the tough games these two teams have played.  In many ways they are in the same plateau as Pittsburgh and Cincinnati except for the super star offensive capabilties. Their special teams are dangerous and I expect that group to be a vital link in their success.  Their D line and especially their secondary are going to be a thorn in our side.  I think the game will be decided by 3 points.

Was readin some of the transcripts so not sure if he was joking but how could harbaugh not know that you can't pull a player from the practice squad on a Sunday ? Saturday at 4pm is the deadline I believe I just find it weird that an nfl coach doesn't know that. Unless he was just being coy, which it seems that he may play dumb a lot, esp when it comes to injuries. Not knowing that perriman had a setback when he started practicing and then wasn't the next week? Lol Cmon John , love you to death but at least don't insult our intelligence.
