I know for a fact that Marlon is a great WR. I met the guy, very humble. I had the fortunate of meeting guys like Desean Jackson, Bernard Pierce, Pierre Garcon, Fred Davis, Fred Smoot, Marlon Brown, Brandon Williams, Joey Porter, Jameel McClain, John Wall, Jeromy Miles, Plaxico Burress, Navorro Bowman, Erykah Badu, Visanthe Shiancoe, and other high profile people during my time working clubs in DC. Me and Navorro are real cool, but to make a long story short, Marlon was one of those guys that didn't even indulge in the club really, he was just there to support Bernard Pierce & Desean Jackson. I could tell by his attitude that he was serious about life. So I know that he takes his career seriously.

Just pay the man! Before someone else does. Also, please don't jinx Forsett, of course I hope he completely burns the Browns. Would be nice. There are reasons why I like Marlon Brown, but he hasn't been showing a lot of that lately, so hopefully he does step up this game. Also, that Chris Givens is ready and has good natural chemistry with Flacco so that we're set for some touchdowns come Sunday and from then on.

cool story bro. that doesnt make him a great wr. i dont care how seriously he takes it, if he cant gain separation and if he doesnt know how to use his size, then he is not a great wr. you do not know for a fact that he is a great wr, because it is not a fact. just because you know the guy doesn make him anything special, hate to break it to ya.

I don't think the run game will be the key. I look for Cleveland to throw 8, maybe 9 guys in the box, stuff the run game, and pressure Flacco knowing Joe doesn't do well under duress. If they don't take this strategy, I have to question the Browns coaching. However, I feel that this is a great opportunity for our receivers, fortified by a burner, to eat up the Browns. The tight ends should have a great game and just one long pass from Flacco to Givens, whether it is caught or causes a PI, will force the Browns to come out of that heavy front. When that happens a combination of Forsett, Taliaferro and Allen along with Givens, Aiken and Brown will blow this game out. But we are going to have to be successful passing first before we can get Cleveland into a front that favors the run. If we do that, we could be looking at a blowout.

I gave you a positive vote for the honesty, but I do hope Marlon does prove me right. He has the character for it. What if I told you that from meeting Bernard Pierce I knew he wasn't going to last that long here, just like some redskins players I saw, he was hanging at the club too much.

I just submitted your post to the Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest name dropping sequence known to mankind. I think you just made history. :D

I would love to see a chart that shows, comparatively, how many points Justin Tucker has scored in the last three seasons compared to other Ravens on the team. Would it be possible with the amount of 3 pointers he's nailed that he outnumbers Flacco's six pointers? That would be interesting to see.

BmoreB I too do still believe in Marlon. Joe as well needs to step up and show why he is worthy of his contract. The Brownie's are not to be taken lightly. They always play the Ravens tough. So it's on.

Go Ravens!

I do agree Marlon Brown will succeed cuz clue collar hard working will take him there........not a single all pro players succeed without the word hard-working...

LOL, you don't need a chart for this...

Since 2012 (52 regular season games):

Tucker - 440 points (107 FGs, 119 PATs).

Flacco - 474 points (73 TD passes, 6 TD runs).

J Tuck deserves to be the highest paid kicker in the NFL. Not just for his clutch Kicking, but he is basically a face of this Franchise, which is not common for kicker to have that status.

Just goes to show how important a good kicker is. He deserves to get paid...

Marlon will come through on Sunday. May not have a lot of yards but he will catch a big td. He also will be playing with a potatoe on his shoulder.

I don't think we have to make tucker the highest paid kicker in the league per say , but a long term respectable contract that puts him in the top 3 will suit Justin just fine, as he is not hard to please. Although I certainly wouldn't be opposed to making him the highest paid, bc he's certainly earned it.

I guess cool? Although has nothing to do with football.

Doesn't have to be highest paid kicker in the league... But I think a long term deal with a bunch of money guaranteed will make it so his salary doesn't inflate too much. I'm sure Tucker wants to win another Super Bowl for Baltimore as well.

I get nervous when the Ravens are the overwhelming pick to win. Hope the players don't let up off the gas pedal a bit mentally being overly confident. We were the overwhelming pick against the Raiders as well and lost. I do think the players are still in desperation mode mentally and will hopefully play lights out, as though they are the underdogs. The Ravens are underdogs in the record/standings right now so that should be enough motivation to not take this game lightly. This is a "must win" game as well.

I still vividly remember the Billy Cundiff playoff miss & also remember how nice it was not to have to worry about the outcome of a game when it was on the line when we had Stover. PAY THE MAN!

It would be interesting to know the percentage of team points Tucker accounts for, 25%? The percentage of games won by, seal the deal, kicks?

correction: Ravens need SOMEBODY to step up at receiver.

Exactly - I don't know that it has to be Brown. I'll take Waller ... Givens ... somebody, anybody.

Justin Tucker's total 440 points scored for the Ravens since 2012, as opposed to Joe Flacco's 474 is a serious bargaining chip to show his worth to this team come contract time. As the saying goes, "Pay the man".
