Week 5 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

2,333 posts in this topic

Guess what guys?!?!?!? I am back with my "FIRE" list for the 5th week in a row! Nothing has changed this week although I do have a note next to one of the people on  the fire list and added another person.

Fire:

Harbaugh

Trestman

Pees

Flacco ( Joe did really well today to be fair and if he plays this well next week I will have to retract this about him however he is not very consistant so we will keep him here until next week)

NEWLY ADDED:

Babin......this guy is a bum. Always has been honestly and all of his decent years of play were a result of the teams he was one either had GREAT defenses or the defenses were so bad that he shined a little compared to them.

Ok for all of you then saying its not Pees that its injuries why are we so injured year after year compared to other teams? Are we not stretching correctly? taping up correctly?  trainers not doing their jobs correctly?

This team has been a house of cards ever since winning that Super Bowl and now the cards have started falling. The really sad part is that things will not get better next offseason either. We're in salary cap hell due to some mifortunes with players and some poor signings, we have many high profile FA-s, and most likely we'll win just enough games to get ourselves a mid-round draft picks which won't help us restock through the draft immediately either.

Crap, I hate the fact that all those "analysts", and writers on this page (talking to you Mink) hyped up my hopes for this season. I really believed we had a good team this year. ROFLOL (meanwhile crying while my heart breaks inside).

Probably going to have to accept the fact that we'll be facing couple of 8-8 years, at the best.

Ummmmm, I bet you a good number of teams that are looking at going to the playoffs would give a 4th to rent him for the rest of the year.

I would take that *not a bet* any day of the week and twice on sunday

This has been painful to watch on the other side of the pond, I feel sorry for those of you who have to put up with this in the media every day.

We'll get like the 3rd or 4th pick and end up trading down and end up with 15 picks in the draft.

No pool pic next game and see what happens. Pool pic is suppose to be good luck, time to change that. Try a different type of pics without the pool.

Is John losing this team or is it that these players are so young and inexperienced with no leaders around to lead them by the scruff of their necks like #52 - Mufasa?

And I'mma bet what Harbs and coaches are saying "We need to execute" "We have to play better" "We need to improve". NO SHH! Tell me something everyone with half a brain doesn't know. Tell me why Mosley was stuck in coverage the WHOLE game when he obviously couldn't cover his TE. Why did all DB-s play 5-10 yards off their WRs in second half. Why didn't we go for INT-s when we blitzed from the outside, the last blitz was the perfect place to pick off the short pass to slot that they had been thoriwing all game.

Yes, players need to improve. But the biggest improvement needs to come from the coaching staff. Namely Harbaugh and Pees.

The media isn't even a big deal. What's really annoying are co-works, neighbors, classmates, family members, and random football fans that you meet on the street who now have all the ammunition they could wish for.

And the season is still young.

LOL sooo right. I play a drinking game now... every time you hear execute and better take a shot... it helps.

thats just not true, we were legitimate contenders just a year ago, and injuries and coaching carousels and bad playcalling on defense have really hurt this team, the cards falling isnt an accurate description of our coaching staff getting poached and players getting hurt.

also, we WERE in salary cap hell when we had ngata and rice on the books for over 20million in cap space, this offseason we get closer to having no wasted cap space, i believe at this point pitta and suggs are the only ones eating up major space with no on-field contributions

Luckily for me I don't know that many people who watch the NFL.

We waited months on end for the season to start and within 4-5 weeks it's all done with. Now its another 6-7 months until something worth waiting for comes around. At least we'll get a top pick

Cool story brah.

what an educated and well thought out response, you might as well have just come out and admitted getting something, let alone a 4th, for Smith is ridiculous

It's so much easier for me when my hockey team does badly. No one watches that sport anyway and even fewer know that I do.

Tonight and Monday morning are going to be brutal.

Who knows Harbs after game speech?

I don't know. This is uncharted territory.

Joe Flacco pretty much just quoted me. "We've never been in this position before."

That Tucker FG looks pretty huge right now. Make sure we bring that up when he's asking for 4M a yr after the season.

As long as it's said about every other player we re-negotiate contracts with.
