[News] Ravens Gear Up For Josh McCown, Not Johnny Manziel

25 posts in this topic

This is why the Browns are the Browns. Manziel played equally as well as McCown but Manziel is their future.... why in the world wouldn't they be playing him right now??? How could it ever be a good thing for the Browns if McCown out produces Manziel???? WIth decision making like that... I am glad we have them in our conference. SMH!

That is true, but, as much as I hate to discredit anyone, including the Browns, I won't say much about that, just that I agree, they should be starting Manziel. Now, though, we have a tough task of limiting catches made by these Browns Sunday. If it's anything like last year, they'll be in fine form with a veteran QB. I don't think anything less than our best effort will suffice. We need to dominate on defense, not simply show up!

A diamond has to be polished they are more then likley tring to growm him into the quarterback they want and McCown is more then able to take the place until he is ready great.

McCown probably does give them the better chance to win games this season, but he's old as hell, and won't be winning any playoff games for them. They need to find out if Manziel can become a starting qb or if they'll have to draft another one. Once they're out of playoff contention, it'll be best to start Manziel.

On a 'normal' day (even with a healthy and stacked squad), the Browns normally play us tough. Its a divisional game. Unless we find the means to get rid of the shackles that are holding ourselves down and preventing us to progress- this will probably be another grind it out until the last possession.

Good luck, Givens- PLAY LIKE A RAVEN.

Good luck, FED-EX, re getting my delivery of MAALOX in on time !

Manziel has more of a big play potential in my opinion. The Browns need that with their lack of wide receiver talent. I would rather start Manziel even though he is not ready just for him to get experience and to get better week after week than starting someone you know cannot take you into the play offs. Plus to put fans in your seats you start Manziel.

The Browns have the same problem the Ravens had before Joe arrived they need a QB but all the other positions are good to go and the Ravens definitely can't sleep on them! Trust me I know I live here!

Teams like the Browns and Bengals have been stockpiling draft picks for years. Cincy has began to put it all together. The Browns are a good Head Coach and QB away from being (possibly) as good sometime soon. I'm glad this is a home game. We need this one. Don't let it slip away, guys!!!

Just remember fans Ravens have the same record as the Browns and this game is a battle for LAST PLACE and who wants it more. No guaranties on Sunday.

The Browns are a bunch of party POOPERS! Smh I was waiting for the chance for our D to welcome Manziel to this rivalry.

The would be no fun without SUGGS

The jury is still out on the Bengals. When is the last time they won a playoff game?

Purple Dawg 96..... I hear what you are saying about the Browns having the same problems as the Ravens did before Joe arrived. But lets not forget that The RAVENS still won a super bowl before Joe got here! We were not just strong in every position but QB... we are so much better then everyone else (AT RB, at TE. on the OL, on the DL, in our LB corps and in our DBackfield) that we were able to win the games highest honor without the typical pilot in a QB... the browns are solid but they aint that! The aint us!
