I agree with pettine, I wouldn't count Steve out until I actually see it on the injury report. In all the videos I've seen of him after the injury he's been moving around pretty well. Takin hits obviously is the question but we all know Steves threshold.

Am glad Monroe is back. Hurst gave it his best shot and we appreciate the efforts, especially against top tier rushers but Monroe will improve the blind side by a lot for Flacco so this is good news. Been missing Gilmore but Williams and Boyle have done a good job holding the fort till Gilmore is back. Hoping Canty will be healed soon by week 6. Hoping Givens does a good job as he seems happy to be here. Good thing we are playing at home this Sunday. Go Ravens!

I hope Monroe doesn't get hurt running onto the field Sunday , that goes for Webb too. I don't know why they have not put Perriman on IR.

It was bad enough to see Gillmore out for the Steelers game. Gillmore and SSS are both my favorite players to watch and now both could be out against the Browns? Hurry up and get better guys. Heal up and can't wait to see you both back in action. Time for other players to step up and play with the fire of Gillmore and SSS. If so, we take the win.

Why keep mentioning Perriman, wasn't it made clear that he'd be out for most of if not the remainder of the

season. Also, I hope Crockett can play but at the same time the last thing I want is our players risking a

greater injury just to satisfy us fans. There longevity is more important to me.

Perriman is a bust 1st round draft pick (See M. Clayton for reference).

A little premature. Remember, Torrey was SO BAD his rookie year the Ravens TRADED FOR Lee Evans to upgrade at WR.

Mark Clayton played in 14 games his rookie season... pretty poor reference.

If Perriman hurt his knee FOUR months ago by falling down, then again in warm ups, what happens when he really gets hit?. I'm tired of hearing about how he won't be playing. Only report when he IS going to play please. The "bust" word is on the tip of my tongue but not yet.

A lot of LTs struggle against Harrison and Miller. I think Hurst has held his own, especialy for a second year undrafted player. Have a funny feeling we'll be hearing about another Monroe injury soon.

I like what Joe said about Perriman. He couldn't worry about him.  He has to concentrate on what he has...   I hope Monroe has a great start Sunday and Hurst picks up a good pace.   Canty has capable backup and his absense does not create controversy. We need Gilmore for that "one more" TD to beat the Browns

The Browns always play tough and never give up against US.

Calf "Strain" really? When did these types of injuries start to cause guys to miss time?

It used to take something being broken or torn!

I don't know. I think this year MAY be an OK year, if we're a little lucky but what I'm seeing is a bunch of resume's playing on the field for next year.

I'm glad Monroe is back because Hurst just isn't there yet but he's not a long term solution either.

If it were me, everyone that's healthy would be on the field, every game. We may have had a few mistakes and a little bad luck the last couple seasons and it's showing now and if we want to right this ship, we need to clean house and get our team a little younger. No more "Castoffs" from other teams or drafting "bargain" guys that had open heart surgery or prosthetic legs installed in their senior year.

We need to clear the dead cap situation (Although we'll probably create even more at the end of the year), clean up our coaching staff and get another prototype Ray Lewis, J.O or Ed Reed, in one of these drafts.

It will be interesting to see how we fair for the rest of the year. Our team has a lot of heart and although that's probably not enough to make the playoffs, I'm sure they'll keep us in the mix until the last regular season game or so.

All I can say now is...expect the worst and hope for the best!

GO RAVENS!

Seems like we've been hammered with injuries the last 2-3 years. Old players, young players; it doesn't seem to matter. Are they coming out of college softer?? Didn't Yanda play a day after surgery or something a couple of years ago? Cm'on man! Need to clone Jack Youngblood

Hate to say it, but it seems like some of them are afraid to play because it might jeopardize their potential big pay day in a new/reworked contract. Of course, sitting on the sideline can't help that much either.....

Nothing like kicking players when their down. Calling players "busts" because they are injured is just plain silly. Those players will be back when ready and not before. Everyone has their own tolerance for pain so lets not rush to judgment on anyone please.

As much as I hate talking about players that aren't suiting up for the Ravens, I must say that is a harsh judgment for somebody who's never suited up in an NFL game, regular season or preseason for that matter! Reserve your judgment for when he plays 6-8 games without yards or a reception or more drops than catches please.

Jack Youngblood, member of LA Rams "Fearless Foursome".

There was also Deacon Jones, Marlon Olson and who was that fourth guy?
