Week 5 Discussion (Other Teams)

I don't like how well the Bengals are playing this season. Playoffs can't come soon enough. :(

Well if Baltimore can't get things done, I would at least like to see someone challenge NE. Cincy could be the best hope.

The only AFCN rival I could root for are the Browns, just because the team has been so hopeless for so long and I respect their fans for hanging in there.

Outisde of that, as much as I hate the Pats, I still have the Bungals more. :P I feel like the Broncos should be favs for the AFC right now. That D is ridiculous.

They are impressive, but the other side of the ball is not. I think things could get ugly as the weather gets worse. Manning is not a cold weather qb (esp now) and he isn't exactly Joe Flacco in the playoffs.

Manning is still good enough to manage the game. If they can put as much pressure on Tom as they did on Joe during the season opener, they'll easily get past the Pats.

I hope you are right. If NE wins another sb, I will vomit.

I'm right there with you. Ofcourse, plan A still remains: Ravens get hot at the right time and win it all. ;)

I like the way you think.

What happened to the Bills? Looks like teams finally figured out how to stop Tyrod, because he is not doing anything lately.

Can't believe Washington is winning

What's more surprising is the Falcons offense has been shut down so far. Redskins are missing two of their starting CBs and are doing a terrific job, I mean they have shut out Julio Jones so far.

Russell Wilson and Andy Dalton have traded interceptions. After Earl Thomas got a interception, at the goal line Wilson again throws an interception.

I think that ZBS scheme (and we found this with Kubiak) is vulnerable to teams with a decent degree of experience with it.

That might be Ryan's MO. Remember how good Mark Sanchez looked for a little while?

Seattle with two TDs, one to Jermaine Kearse and Bobby Wagner with a fumble recovered for a TD. Seahawks now lead 24-7!

Buffalo Titans.

That's a stupid offset penalties. Defender is offsides first. Which means a free offensive play. But wr got a PI so it's offsetting penalties. I mean it's a free play after the offsides that should supersede

Stupid Seahawks. I'm still not ready to call them a serious contender. They benefited from no Lynch, and a horrible Cary Williams.

Ugh Bengals won

How did the Chiefs lose?

I wasn't watching the game, but going by the scores I'd say they didn't get a strong enough lead before Charles went down and the Bears were able to sneak into the lead late.

Falcons are 5-0 and have a very easy schedule for the rest of the season. Quinn has already done a great job turning this team around.
