Week 5 Discussion (Other Teams)

Hard for me to root for the Bengals living in Cincinnati.

Would like to see Palmer beat them In the SB. lol

nah, I still want them to lose their first game in

Yeah, I want to keep laughing at them for going one and done. But if they get over that hump, I'd probably root for them to lose the Super Bowl.

Might actually have to root for the Bengals at this point.

I'm rooting for the Packers at this point or any NFC team. Packer would destroy the Bengals in the Super Bowl, of course if Dalton can even win a playoff game. We all know Eli OWNS Tom Brady if the Giants were to get into the Super Bowl. Cardinals would likely beat the Patriots. Right now the NFC at this point is guaranteed to win the Super Bowl this year because of how bad the AFC is and how beatable the Patriots are.

The Jets might be able to beat the Patriots. They've given the Pats trouble in the past and Corey Ivory can have a monster game against that defense. Aside from them and the Bengals? I got nothing. I'm now rooting for the Cardinals to win it all since they can beat the Pats in the Super Bowl.

I like the Cardinals too. Arians is a great coach, and I like Fitz to finally get his ring.

Wouldn't mind seeing Rodgers get #2 either. But my team to watch in the NFC playoffs is the Giants. I have them winning that division, and once they get in the postseason...look out.

So at the end of week 5, we have 4 teams, in the AFC, above .500? Steelers, Pats, Bengals and the Jets? Am I missing anyone?

Considering we would be only one game back of these teams, we still have a chance due to the ineptitude of everyone else.

Jets with Fitzpatrick? Don't think so. Only thing I know is we'll be stuck listening to the media talk about another Brady/Manning AFC Title Game come January.

ever seen? you might want to watch more football

It doesn't mean its the best Iv ever seen. One of the craziest finishes, it was pretty tense for me. I never seen a finish like that. Tomlin has balls of steel to run a Wild cat with Bell like that.

I will acknowledge I have Bell on my team who was an influence and that sneak got me the win :)

Meh, worse teams could win the Super Bowl. At least it would be the first time the Bengals won one. Won't be my favorite team in the playoffs but beats Steelers, Pats, or Denver. Please win NFC

Colts, Broncos, Bills.

At least we're not the only team allowing late touchdowns to surrender the lead. Happened to both of our future opponents in prime time games this week.

A healthy Steelers team is the best team in the conference, imo.

Still won't see them with everyone for at least another week. I don't think they rush Ben back against the Cardinals. No clue what happened with Bryant but he didn't even play tonight.

Only thing looking up is that they should have their complete offense against Cinncy at home for a Sunday night game. Hopefully knock the Bengals down to earth.

Just as we can't beat the Bengals, they can't beat the Steelers.

Anyone else pulling HARD for Arizona? Would love to see Larry Fitz and CJ2K get their rings!

I am! Would love to see Fitz and Bruce Arians get a ring for Arizona. Arians is my favorite coach not named John Harbaugh.

When the postseason comes around, I will NEVER (and I repeat NEVER) root for a divisional foe. If the Pats play the Bengals, you rest assured I'm rooting for the Pats (as much as I loathe them). Personally, I would love to see the Steelers vs. Bengals in the playoffs. A win-win situation for me right there.

I say pats get to the superbowl by default, the afc isnt great again this year and neither are we. The packers will stomp on our heads, I dont see any other nfc team taking it to them in the playoffs.

I think Packers or Arizona win the superbowl and I could see Arizona beating GB due to their secondary, in the NFC champ game.

Afc is Patriots to lose

It would be fun to see the team that won the first Superbowl end up winning the fiftieth. Especially since it'd be the exact same team, that never moved or changed name.

Think it will be either GB or AZ in the NFC vs the Pats in the AFC in SB 50!

I think it'll be Arizona vs Cincy. Palmer gets the ultimate vengeance and then retires

Right now, Bengals schedule says that their game @Pitt in a couple weeks is scheduled for a 1:00pm kickoff. Has that been flexed by NBC? IDK.

Don't worry about the Bengals coming back down to earth guys. It'll for sure happen,, it always does with them without fail each season. They will be in the playoffs though. After this string of victories, Cincy really can finish the remaining games going 5-6 (which would give them a 10-6 record) and make it in.

The Steelers are a monster thorn in the Bengals' sides. They struggle with the Steelers no matter how each team is playing. I expect Cincy to lose at Pitt in 2 weeks,, although I certainly don't want that to happen!

If Pitt continues to hang around the playoff mix while Ben is out,, they'll probably be very difficult to deal with later in the season and in the playoffs. They're only 2 games behind Cincy. I can definitely see them still winning the AFCN, and then making a playoff run. I hope not,,, cannot stand them.

Anyway, chin up guys. There's still alot of games left to play. Most of the AFC is very weak. All of the Wildcard contending teams are within 2 games of each other right now, with 11 games left to play. Even with all the decimating injuries for the Ravens right now,, there's still a decent chance to make it considering all the other AFC teams currently look like doodoo.

Do you think the Jets and Bills will continue to play solid? Idk. We'll have to wait and see.
