[News] Injury Updates On Breshad Perriman, Steve Smith Sr., Crockett Gillmore

80 posts in this topic

Hear comes the "Perriman's a bust" comments again  :(

Having Gilmore and Canty back would be nice

SSS is incredible to even attempt to play through cracked ribs, as much as we need him I would rather protect him for the rest of the season

i have learned that when harbs says that a player has a chance to play they never do. gilmore should be back for the niners game. i sure hope perriman is not one of those often injured players during his career.

Hope to have Gilmore back for the game. Getting the news out there on what's up with Perriman was so surprising I'm in shock. Did not expect information. Canty can do with some additional rest, he's a good player, but we do have a solid D-line and if he comes back, best if he's 100%.

Getting Gillmore back would be a bonus. But still not satisfied unless Ozzie picks up another WR. I heard they were trying out some players for the returner job possibly, who knows...

But no sr, no perriman both no timetable.. And running Aiken,Brown out as 1,2 is not an option.

I have seen articles on here, mentioning, options like Eddie Royal, Andre Roberts, Ricardo Lockette WRs as targets in trade. ... Any of those would be fine targets Oz should grab with late round pick.

Or Hakeem Nicks, vet minimum...

Boldin trade.. Something

Good news for the Croc   I want him to brutalize the Browns and put pain on them on behalf of Steve.  Those two tight end sets everyone talks about may happen in this game..  We have to pass creatively and make the running game explode.  Their D should be on the field longer than ours, especially in the fourth quarter.  .

Hope Gillmore is ready for the Brown's game. Good news if it's possible. Really need Gillmore playing. As for SSS, his passion to play will probably have him lobbying Harbs to play. Although SSS is almost super human in pain tolerance and toughness, I just want the medical certainty that SSS won't injure himself worse by playing. All medical comments seem to indicate the only issue is pain. If SSS ends up playing, I will be amazed at his ability to do so.

What about Monroe ? Lord knows Joe's gonna need an extra second to wait for separation with Aiken and Brown being our top WR's. My hope is that Waller get's a lot more reps too.

I'm getting a "Sergio Kindle" vibe out of Perriman with the way his condition, healing rehabilitation is being described!

Do we really need to bring Canty and Gilmore in against the Browns?

Let Joe grow into Maxx rather than scanning for Crockett instead of the open guys!  <_<

I hope Gillmore plays, now that he have bi smith or campanaro, we are going to need those he's desperately. I wish they would just rule him Perriman out for the season.

Perriman is soft to me until I see otherwise, and hopefully I do. I did the same thing with Taliafero in training camp when I said until I see otherwise he in my mind is just a goaline back, and I was happy to be wrong, hope I'm wrong again.

I am thinking we will need good blockers for the Browns game with Crockett being a bulldozer and equally good pass catcher and already being low on targets for Joe I would say yes we should have him in there if he can go

Please no more PERRIMAN up dates, what part of that don't you understand! This is turning into the joke of the day! Just let us know when he is going to be playing, or put him on injured reserve and free up his spot for someone who can actually play this weekend!

Just spend the money on Jeffrey after he becomes a free agent and stop being cheap.

We have the second smallest free cap space this season... In what ways is it "being cheap"?

Imagine what our offense will be like when peeriman gets back? Peeriman, Givens and smith is unstoppable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The truest sign of how desperate our current WR situation is that we are putting all our trust and hope in a guy who's never even had one single snap in the NFL...

I had been under the impression that Perriman had surgery of some kind. A bit disappointed actually, thinking surgery may have fixed the problem maybe for good once healed. Now I'm back to thinking that this may be a reoccurring injury. Then again, we have enough injuries on this team to be concerned about already.

I hate tht steve smith is injured but it just pushes the rest of the wide outs to play harder and they need tht steve was a security blanket and now flacco has to go thru all his progressions and b a leader and throw his guys open cause they have a problem with gettin seperation

I think this Perriman injury a sign of things to come? I hope that I am wrong, I really do. But with things like this its almost like a pattern. He may be in next season, but for how long, and will his next injury take as long to recover.

There not being cheap, I look at it as being patient and smart. The redskins, a team right down the street from Baltimore is a perfect example of bad decision making. But then again.......... I don't want to see Flacco taking hits over and over because our WR's cant get open. So I do see where you come from. Injuries has hampered this team though.
