Back injury is no joke; it might end up even worse; best thing is to work slowly back to speed and strength up your back muscle or something....If Camp can stay healthy, he will make big bucks; if not, he needs to find 9-5 job......Anyways, wish you the best healing, Camp...stay strong...

Campanaro is injury Prone. This guy is a bust. After his contract is up he will be gone. He has Wes Welker type talent, but is made of glass...always breaks. And its not like they overuse him, he only does returns and about 5-10 offensive plays a game.

Hes had about 3-4 hamstrings now, and now herniated disks after one dynamic play. You gotta put him in bubble wrap or something

Camp has tremendous smarts on the field, makes plays and puts forth intense effort. I certainly hope that changing his training regimen can reduce or eliminate the hamstring/soft tissue injuries. If Camp ends up relatively healthy after this rocky start injury-wise, and we failed to keep him, he will go on to be a real offensive threat whoever he plays for. Glad to see the Ravens intend to keep him. If Camp becomes the healthy, consistant offensive weapon he surely has the potential for, I want him to be OUR weapon. Time will tell and hoping for the best. See ya next year Camp.

Having had 6 back surgeries some of which were herniated discs besides being painful. Its easy to re-injure or make worse especially playing a contact sport. 4 WEEKS IS VERY OPTIMISTIC. It better for them to let him take the rest of the year to take care of the injury &get his body prepared to play without a lot of danger to him long term

Get fit Camp! The next time I want to hear about you being injured is never. I really like the kid, he's a pleasure to watch, so I hope he becomes an asset next year and stays that way.

A 7th round pick who has already contributed to this team with key plays in some games, and who has provided important competition in camp and practice where he has motivated other players we've brought in to have to work hard to make this roster.  It's really silly to call that a "bust" as a 7th rounder.  Most of those guys never do a single thing for the team that drafts them.

I love this guys attitude and I love his effort and passion. He plays like a Raven and must be seeing that first hand from SSS. I really do like this guy on our team i think he can be SSS 2.0 as long as he can find a way to prevent injuries. Tough breaks happen. Get well Campanaro

First Elam, and then Camp-- at least both of them weren't significant contributors. Elam is probably doing us a favor by being out for the season... Camp, get better, but you might want to gain some more bulk.. So close, yet so far away..

I don't see the track record of constant nagging injuries and IR trips changing, unfortunately. he played like 10 snaps and got tackled 3 times, and he is out for the year for the second time.

The IR insures that nobody can snatch him up. That kind of play he made doesn't go unnoticed. Camp isn't going for one reason. He makes the play they thought he could when the went back into the the draft to get him.

I really like Campanaro but it is time to realize that he cannot withstand the rigors of the NFL. Injury after injury, trip after trip to the DL. No matter how much you pull for the guy, sometimes you just gotta stop and realize it just isn't meant to be. Just like Pitta, it is time to stop hoping and face reality. Pitta should not play football again. Next hip injury could put him in a wheelchair for life. Is it worth it?

Shame he hasn't been able to stay healthy. He was nice out of the slot. He will probably get another chance before they move on. No idea how he will prevent future injury while playing.

I know how you feel and it takes months to go away. The only way to protect it is to build your stomach mussels.

Nuts! This is a tough one. Herniated disks are not fun. I had one that eventually ruptured, lost 70% of my disk. That's automatic retirement at that point for anyone. Glad this one's not bulging or touching the nerve. Worst pain ever in my lifetime. Here's hoping for a full recovery for Camp.
