Who returns punts now ?

It seems like our disregard for this important spot on teams represents our off season lapse.

 

Now it's Webb on punts ? Maybe the new WR can PR ?

 

 At least we have some TE. Maybe we can run a two tight O for a while ?

 

Are we rebuilding ?

Assuming that's one of the reasons they brought Givens in.  Once Camp went down and SSS diagnosis, the front office had to act fast to get someone in to do Kickoff/ Punt Return.  It sucks that that we lost 2 WRs during the Steelers game, but it couldn't have happened at a better time (besides our bye week) since there was 10 days to bring someone in to practice before we play the Browns.

This was my question once I saw Campanaro was done for the year!

1) first I never liked S.Smith even fielding a punt he was the entire offense now with his injury that's completely out of the question.

2) Webb is also an injury waiting to happen, but I'm not opposed to him returning because he's been terrible in coverage, so if he could give a spark on special teams maybe he can regain some confidence.

3) is Asa even on the roster or practice team still??

Other than that, I'm not sure how newly acquired Givens is as a returner, or Buck Allen.
