Ravens Make the Playoffs? (Merged)

346 posts in this topic

Mentally weak and poorly coached. Couldn't agree more. We're lucky to even have that 1 win.

There's way more into it than that. This 2015 Ravens team is a team-wide train wreck. Every single person in this organization is to blame. Yes, everyone. Ozzie, John, coordinators, position coaches, every single player. This is officially a team wide meltdown.

I know how that is though, when things seem to go bad and it's just continuously keeps happening. Hey, when you're on a roll, you're on a roll.

Even in the Super Bowl one team has to loose.

So there is only one good team in the entire NFL?

Or only undefeated teams are good?

Agreed. There hasn't been a single team we've faced that hasn't said, "They're a good team and not to be taken lightly because of their losses..." I doubt any team will this season. Any given Sunday.

were the best 1-6 team I've ever seen- that's for sure.

I was going to say teams like Jacksonville, Cleveland, Tampa, aka historically bad teams have to be envious of us. When they have been 1-6, or even winless, they are because they are just a bad team. They are easy wins for the successful teams and barely put up a fight to win the game. Us on the other hand, have been the most competitive 1-6 team in NFL history I assume. One or two plays that go on our way and we could have more wins. Those teams would love to say that they have a losing record because one or two plays didn't go their way each game.

Losses happen, teams with the worst record in the entire league on the other hand...

Also would you call a 6-1 team bad if they won all their games by 1 possession?

Nope.

Soooo, to have a chance, we need to finish 9-7. That requires us going 8-1 to end the year. We have the ability to be 6-6 heading into week 14. We play Cleveland, Rams, Chargers, Jaguars, and Dolphins. All winnable. Then we'd have to win 3 out of our last 4 against the Seahawks, Chiefs, Steelers(must win), and Bengals. That'd be hard. But you never know.

I think the Jets get the first WC at 10-6.

Then it comes down to these teams for the 2nd WC according to my predictions....

Steelers (8-8 to 10-6)

Bills (7-9 to 9-7)

Chargers (7-9 to 8-8)

Raiders (7-9 to 8-8)

Then us... 9-7 could do it. 8-8 won't. It's a long shot, and I may be the only one, but I won't give up hope just yet.

9 to go....our longest recent memory winning streak is 4 games.

6 Home Games.............3 Away games.

San Diego

Jacksonville

Rams

@ Browns

@ Dolphins

Seahawks

Chiefs

Steelers

@ Bengals

Lets speculate that the Bengals have it so wrapped up they rest their starters and we are able to overcome their 2nds with our remaining 1sts......that still leaves 7 games to win. Rather than ask you to point out the wins..........just tell us the one loss and we'll look at it again.

I gotta tell you....there is no Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny favors the Bengals and the Tooth Fairy already has all of Oz's teeth.

I think the Jaguars are gonna rock our world and don't see three wins in that remaining schedule even if the Bengals gift us in week 17 and that is with all those home games.

Going out on limb here, but the Ravens are going to make the Playoffs at 8-8. Based on the conference being weak this year, it is going to come down to us, Squeelers, Jets and Bills. I think Oakland will eventually fall off and we will beat Miami in Miami, and not to mention the AFC East is pretty stacked.

If we make to the playoffs, and somehow Perriman and a few more pieces are ready to go, anything can happen.

its possible if we beat the chargers and head into the bye on a positive note and coming out of the bye are much healthier then we are now.

i think perriman will be back coming out of the bye and bring a boost to the offense.

would've definitely helped to have won that game in Oakland or against Cleveland. Got a feeling one of those losses is going to come back to bite us and we might miss out by one game. I also think ( hopefully) we will see perriman after the bye. Maybe even pitta. Anything is possible.

If either the Jets or Raiders lose next week while we are on a bye, we will come out of the bye just two games back of the wildcard with half the season to play. There are a lot of teams sitting in the same or better position, but it is possible. Crazy because we shouldn't be in this position after the start we had. Winning just one of those close losses would have us in a very dangerous position to fight, but I think we put ourselves in too big a hole. There is still a chance. After all, we have exactly one team left on our schedule with a winning record (and not until Week 17 do we face that team), so all the teams we play from here until the second-to-last week has shown they can have bad showings any given Sunday just like us. We will need some serious luck, and that hasn't exactly been on our side thus far.
