Ravens Make the Playoffs? (Merged)

We beat the Cards and Chargers, we're 3-5. Then bye. Then vs jags, vs Rams, @dolphins and @Browns. We could be 7-5. Then we have vs Seahawks, vs, Chiefs, vs Steelers, @Bengals. The Seahawks, Steelers, and Bengals will be the hardest. I believe we still can do this. 10-6 gets us into the playoffs. 9-7 May. The last 4 games will make or break us.

i don't quite see how we can beat the cards or chargers, or really any of those teams, the only team I legitimately think we have a chance against is the Dolphins. You can say we're still mathematically in it but it's very hard to say we're good enough to win those games

While I agree that we just need to make it to the dance; I can't get with the "get hot" statement because we no longer have the same "caliber" of players that had the ability to "get hot" on our roster J. I just don't see that in or from these present-day Ravens man!

I disagree..we've got the pieces ..just need them to play well. Forsett smith sr and we all know flacco turns into January joe during playoff time. The defense is another story..but if we almost made it to the afcg last year without jimmy I think it's quite possible. We just have to start executing and being more disciplined. The way the AFC is right now, the playoffs aren't out of question until we are officially eliminated. You have two one win teams in us and the Titans. Five AFC teams have two wins, four have three wins, and two have four wins. It might take a while for us to be eliminated since the AFC sucks this year.

I still feel the exact same way. Unfortunately the latter part of what I said about the ball starting to bounce our way was incorrect. Once again we got the short end of the stick on some calls and had some fluke type things happen to us. Had it not been for a few bad calls and some awful luck once again we could've beaten one of the top teams in the league. Look, it's no mystery that we are lacking a few big playmakers on both sides of the ball. But nobody can say that this team doesn't have talent. This is the most talented 1-6 team I've ever seen thats for sure.

I mean I get that teams get lucky and unlucky but we are 1-6 and that one win was pretty damn lucky. It isn't like we are this great team that has gotten unlucky every game. One could argue injuries play a large factor in everything but at the same time there are plenty of other teams out there with their own injuries. A lot of what I see comes from a mentally weak team which feels weird to say given that we have been mentally strong for a long time.

Mentally weak and poorly coached. Couldn't agree more. We're lucky to even have that 1 win.
