If so, have you had any luck winning anything?

I signed up just for the heck of it. Haven't played anything yet, just been looking at how the lineups are assembled and what the prizes are for finishing wherever. May give it a shot in week five.

In terms of luck winning anything, it seems you at least win something no matter where you finish depending the group you join.

Pay attention to the description of the games you play. I entered a $2.00 game on Thursday thinking it was fantasy game for all of week 5. Unfortunately it was a fantasy game for just the Thursday night game, Ravens vs Steelers. Needless to say I ONLY had Tucker and lost badly.

Well it's not true you always win something....

A few basics..there are different types of games.

Head to head. Self explanatory. Winner takes all

50/50 where half the field doubles up and half gets 0. I would start with those type and just pick the best lineup you can.

Then there's different sized tournaments where you want to try to have contrarian plays to have a unique point scorer. Much harder to win anything but you can get in some for different amounts. Like $1 or $3.

This just made things interesting. A New York State Attorney ruled that these Daily Fantasy Sites is "illegal gambling".

I laugh because they are just mad they are not getting any piece of the pie.

I've never been too convinced these "games" are legal, at least in quite a few states.

I wanted to check Fan Duel but could not sign up - not eligible since I'm out of USA / Canada. However, I noticed that not all US states are eligible either, so I think that one might be legal for whomever is allowed to sign up.
